I am 5 hours in. For me personally, it is an 8/10. The gameplay is really fluid, the graphics are really pretty, the fights enjoyable. I think the game is not great at explaining its mechanics tbh and I agree that levelling up is really shallow, however, I enjoy the first "plot twist" 5 hours in and I can see the story's potential. Another positive is, if u play it on the go, there are many save points so you can easily play 15-20 mins and progress in a satisfying manner.

I don't regret buying it for 20 bucks

@BlackenedHalo phew. I thought I was a giant doofus, but glad you share my view on the difficulty. ^^

I think the game looks "fine" overall, I don't really dig the artstyle in towns (it is still FINE too). I reckon xenoblade chronicles definitive edition will be more likely to be my kinda jrpg.

Atm, I doubt that I want to grind through the demo. Too many games to play. I also want to try trails of cold steel 3. I tried the Japanes demo before but I had no idea what was going on, looked very promising though!happy it was added to the European eshop

Re: Review: Asphalt 9: Legends - Likeable Burnout-Style Racing Action, If You Play The Right Way

I usually don't like racing games as I am a bad driver in real life as well 🀣 but it is that arcady that even I enjoy it. I have maybe played for 4-5 hours in total and I don't see myself spending any real money but yet I can constantly upgrade my cars and play the game in small bursts and have a constant feeling of progress. I reckon at some point during the career mode progression will come to a halt but at this point, I might just stop playing and still have a had a good time without paying a dime.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 10th)

Finished battle chasers last weekend (loved it!) and bought world of ff maxima this week. Even though it is a bit blurry in handheld mode, it still looks gorgeous on the small screen and it is also great for playing it commuting to/from work. Highly recommended if u liked the atb battle system in the older entries (even though u can also play it strictly turn based if u want to). Catching and developing mirages does not get old!
