They have a bunch of other games on the way and already here.
It would be a waste for Nintendo to give anything at all away when they can basically fill up their whole next years E3 with Metroid if poop hits the fan and they end up not having much else to show at the time.
I'm sure next years E3 will be all about Pokémon Switch and Metroid and Smash, if it doesn't get shown earlier.
@Mommar I agree and love that you are able to point it out. Mighty No9 has this as well. There is something about that graphical look that is just unpleasant.
Still though, I'm sure the game will be fun. It might not be a master piece, but its hard to go wrong with running jumping and shooting stuff in a Metroid suit in space. Its also a remake of a game that was already fun, and that game hade severe problems in many ways.
So to conclude, this could've and should've been better done, but lets just buy this but make sure we make our voices heard so that they can fix the next Switch version. Because at this point, if we don't buy it, we'll never see Metroid again(what has it been, like 7 years not counting Federation Force) or at least not for another x years in this form at least. Usually I'd say speak with your money and don't buy it, but this is an edge case where we just got to make our voices heard instead, hopefully reviewers can criticize it if we make enough noice in comment sections about the crappy look/graphics

Ok, funny enough, responding to my own message, before even posting it(this is weird). I turned off my 3DS and tried figuring out how it would feel. If they let us accelerate using Y, then X could be used for items and B for drifting. This would actually work I believe. But that leaves out the item swap thingy. It could use A, but that could be weird. What do you guys think?

@SahashraLA Um, the N3DS is far superior to the original. It runs way smoother, faster and better. It feels better, the 3D can actually be used now, and the extra buttons make a great use in many games. The screen also looks way better, and battery life too, of course. I tried going back to my old 3DS just to compare, it is practically impossible. The 2DS is also great because it costs basically nothing. The N3DS is in my opinion the best Nintendo console ever made. And I own pretty much all of them.
I'm sadly disappointed. Mostly in Giovannis character. "All Pokémon exist solely for the use of Team Rocket" does not sound like a thing that a sophisticated master villain would say or think. It's funny how something so small can ruin pretty much everything. To have a motivation or belief like that really makes him just another stereotypical villain without a realistic personality. I mean, money, power...but no, his belief is that he wants to control ALL Pokémon? Does he think that he is going to steal all of them, and why would that even be of any importance? It's like the most stereotypical BS villain ever. It's something that works great in a sidescroller like Mario, but here I was hoping they would make this anime more aimed towards adults and instead they make the original anime seem way more appealing, at least in their depiction of Giovanni. Sadly disappointed, really.

SEGA, can you please, kindly take my money, I'll give it to you for a simple version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles that allows local play. I just played a ton of Sonic 2 with my girlfriend. Now that was fun...but to be able to use Tails and be able to fly, and also have the ability to get 14 chaos emeralds and become Hyper and unlock a new final stage...oh yeah, and also be able to actually save the progress...come on SEGA. We need this in our lives. It's your best showcase of Sonic done right. It would be so timely now ahead of Sonic Mania. Then please make Sonic Mania a continueation of that game too.
I beat this game and highly recommend it. This is a 2D Platformer done right, costing almost nothing. The feel when you fight in this game is absolutely amazing. It's like you bounce in the air while slashing the enemies, hard to explain unless you try it. And please do, I hope more people support this developer so that we could perhaps get a sequel.

Once beaten, the game unlocks really interesting characters to replay the game with, which allows you to choose different paths to do it as well.
Honestly one of the best games I've ever played for this price, if not the best.
You can't copyright "Gameplay Elements" as the developer is stating, only things that are branded, such as names, characters, etc. but even those have to be like almost identical in order to classified as infringement. This is BS, since we don't even know what the reason for the takedown is.
@khululy It's essentially a strategy management game, at least if it's the same as the PC version. You train and manage stats, then the fighter fights automatically. Just watched a Let's Play. I'm getting this for sure, looks to be a lot of fun and addicting!
@sillygostly The problem lies not in the quality of graphics but the fact that everything in one world is loaded at once. I think the only things that spawn are enemies that are within x amount from you. I mean, if you drop an item on the other side of the coast, it will still be laying there. So every block makes the CPU work.
I am playing it on my New 3DS and can't put the damn thing away. It is in every way one of the best games I've ever played ever. Anything under a 9/10 is not accurate. Sure, I haven't played it in 30 FPS and lag, but I know this version I have has some issues like random crashing, so I got to save all the time. But even with this problem the game is freakin' 9/10 at least, and 10/10 in my opinion. The only better games on the 3DS might be Kid Icarus Uprising and Super Smash Bros - maybe. At the rate of fun I'm having with the game right now, I'd say it is the best game on the console.

Nintendo has done it again! This would've been the best version of the game. I've never had so much fun playing he original. This is one of few times where I feel graphics have done a huge difference. The world simply felt more immersive and/or alive. Exploring felt really rewarding for some reason, even if it was the same game I've played before.
If Nintendo are being douche bags about this, I feel that it would be justified only if they actually made a version that looks like this or similar enough. The 3D/2D angle they had was magnificent!

I mean, it came out a year ago, and there wasn't really any info about anyone even learning about how to utilize the new improvements or why there would even be a reason too, why would a studio who is spending money on developing to the 3DS limit themselves to New 3DS only? I mean, I honsetly didn't think that anyone seriously thought exclusives would be a thing, I upgraded because the machine is just way better, smoother, feels better, looks WAY BETTER, still really cheap, I could give my old one to my GF, circle pad, even though limited, but still there. Got the first 4 episodes on Android, waiting for the 5th. Simply amazing! I love it so much, can't recommend it enough. One of the best experiences I've had with gaming/multimedia whatever this game classifies as, because it's not really a game I feel, but rather like an interactive movie. Either way, do yourselves a favor and don't pass this one up. At least try the first episode to see if its for you. I had never played a game like this before, I am already looking for the genre and trying to find more. I am also really interested in Minecraft itself now and will buy me a copy of that too since this game really made me fall in love with that world.

Got the first 4 episodes on Android, waiting for the 5th.
Simply amazing! I love it so much, can't recommend it enough.
One of the best experiences I've had with gaming/multimedia whatever this game classifies as, because it's not really a game I feel, but rather like an interactive movie.
Either way, do yourselves a favor and don't pass this one up. At least try the first episode to see if its for you. I had never played a game like this before, I am already looking for the genre and trying to find more.
I am also really interested in Minecraft itself now and will buy me a copy of that too since this game really made me fall in love with that world.
