Re: 'Nick Jr. Party Adventure' Brings Dora, Paw Patrol, Blue's Clues And More To Switch

Eh, probably not gettin this one. There was a little bit of me that was a bit interested as I unironically enjoy Bubble Guppies and Blue’s Clues & You but it’s probably gonna be a game you finish in 90 minutes. Probably gonna look up a LP for this one.

(Also, psst, Outright Games, call me up, I have a pitch for a Bubble Guppies rhythm game that will sell like hotcakes)

Re: Talking Point: Would You Like To See More Streaming Media Apps On 'Switch 2'?

LouBlu08

Eh, I'd be fine with it, but I probably wouldn't care. I thought the lack of most streaming services on the Switch was a bit weird, but I already can stream every streaming service under the sun on my phone/laptop so there's no use complaining.
Okay maybe aside YouTube, I sunk 1,600 hours into it apparently so I seem to mostly use my Switch for YouTube viewing.

Also didn't Disney say Disney+ was coming to the Switch at one point?

Re: Random: More Kids Want In-Game Currency Over Physical Media This Holiday

LouBlu08

As someone in the target age group for the Fortnite's and the Roblox's, this stinks.
I don't wanna sound like Mr. Nostalgiablind Old Man Telling You To Get Off His Lawn telling This Generation how to spend their money, but personally, I would just rather to give them a game rather than making them say "my man has a radical hat on" or "my man can do a funky dance now". A physical game would be a wiser investment, as you could (possibly) get more fun and enjoyment out of it, and hey, you could sell it afterwards if you wanted to.
But I mean at the end of the day, I guess it's their money, I'm not the one spending it. If they wanna spend it on V-bucks or Minecoins, then by all means.

Re: Peppa Pig: World Adventures Gets New Globe Trotting Gameplay Trailer

Let's have a round of applause for Game of the Year 2023, folks!

@ketrac Okay well technically they aren't the ones making the games. Most of Outright Games' games are made by other studios. Yes most of their games have only about an hour of content. I was foolish enough to play their My Little Pony game which I finished within two hours which contained incredibly repetitive missions and somewhat okay minigames. But it's a kids game so it's not like they'll notice, right? (and I also own their first Peppa game on the Xbox One but haven't dug into it yet lul)

Remember when the community got toxic over this game's announcement? Like yeah, it was shovelware being advertised on a Direct, but you don't have to get THAT toxic about it.
