Being Akira Toriyamas work, I’d imagine the natural progression for this would be in a similar mould of Dragon Quest 11 or the art style of Dragonball FighterZ? I’d still play it in a 2D-3D version because Chrono Trigger as a whole is just that good but those team up attacks would look so good in 3D……

Either way, this game needs a remake. It’s an absolute masterpiece that a new generation of gamers need to experience, especially if the original isn’t very appealing begin with. 😊

I’m getting serious Symphony Of The Night vibes from this. Not in an asthetic way but from the way the player character moves and attacks in that floaty kind of way that Alucard did. I’m keeping an eye on this one!

Is Bloodstained a better experience on Switch now? Ive had it on PS4 for years but I’d love to play it on the go if it’s in better shape these days!

I’m keeping my copy of the original game just incase.
I can’t imagine why it would have performance issues considering it was originally a switch exclusive. But I’m not putting my house on it!

@LikelySatan I just checked out some gameplay of Dusk and it looks very appealing. It’s available now so this will probably be my next purchase after I’m done with Unicorn Overlord!

I’ve been playing Quake 2 Remastered recently and I haven’t enjoyed a game in this way since I played through the Soulsborne series. It kicks my arse and I just keep playing until I win.

So if Wrath didn’t appeal to me before, it does now!

I never played Dino Crisis, somehow it slipped by me. But the amount of love that game gets, coupled with the demand for a remake, has been strong for years. Capcom know what the fans want, they don’t need a survey to confirm that.

This is the first time I’ve ever heard of this game let alone seen it in action…..how have I missed this? This is my cup of tea!

If it was £15 then I may have considered it but to charge full whack for a game in that condition is outrageous

If those issues from the demo are ironed out, I’d consider purchasing. But to charge that amount of money for a game that runs that poorly in this day and age……come on. There are better games on my wanted list that deserve that money

I am yet to play a Suikoden game. But I remember a friend of mine here in the UK had a chipped PS1 and he had a US copy of Suikoden 2, my friends were always over at his place watching him play the hell out of it. Another friend of mine still worships the game to this very day (we’re in our late 30’s). He has definitely made his mark on the gaming world with that title alone. As soon as the remasters are released, I think I owe it to myself and his memory to finally play this game.

I know it would take time but “Double” seems excessive. I guess the fact that there is essentially two world maps to create might take up a lot of time but I can’t see how it would take longer than the FF Remake project…..but that’s probably why I’m not a developer so what do I know 🤣

@LadyCharlie Yeah I don’t think we have anything to worry about, like you say, there’s still huge demand for physical Switch games. Myself included in that.
Nintendo keep things so close to their chest though, they love to throw a curveball 🤣.

@LadyCharlie I’ve got a sneaky feeling that the Switch 2 is going to be a purely digital hybrid console….I haven’t seen any evidence of that and it’s very unlikely but I’ve just got this gut feeling.

I recently lost my cat, Chino. He was my best mate and I never thought it would devastate me as much as it did. (Even my girlfriend who he used drive crazy!) I have no plans to get another cat, especially this soon and I probably would have passed on this game if he was still alive but this might fill the feline shaped hole in my life! Count me in!

They might need to revise the “Issues Under Investigation” part…..

At the moment, due to financial reasons, I have to choose between RPG and Wonder.

I never played the original version of RPG which is what makes this decision tougher 😭

I loved the first game, it had its flaws but I couldn’t help but love it all the same. It sounds like they’ve done some tweaking rather than making big changes and that’s fine by me 🔥

At this point, we can be pretty sure that Metroid Prime 4 isn’t going to be on the Switch

Didn’t buy the first remake although I enjoyed the original on SNES. This will be my first time with FM2 though, so I think this will be a day 1 purchase
