@Moshugan Why would there be an extra processor for that? Don't you mean a sensor? Or maybe some prongs like the Wii U has? But all of that can be duped, as long as you give people some time.
Since the post stated that the Switch would overclock, or at least run at a higher clock speed when docked to scale to 1080p for the TV, is this also hinting that the switch's screen would be 720p or lower?
How can you say it's just noise? These are potential players which you are losing. If all weapons were removed from a Zelda game, would it still be enjoyable? Or when playable? No! Removing core features makes a game unplayable, that's why I have stopped playing. But most people other select hard core fans will give it a second chance
@bubby444 Well, every new generation is supposed to be and improvement over the last gen. So many, myself included, expect about $300-350 price and at least 1 of those other things you mentioned also present on the switch
@Baker1000 I would imagine they would do something like they did with the wii u, where you can take the charger out of the dock and use it to charge the game pad directly. But who knows, nothing is confirmed yet
I makes sense that the switch might have Ir. The 3ds does, and that's for nearby offline multiplayer, so wouldn't i make sense for the switch to do the same? Also, this could mean that the switch could act as a tv remote like the wii u, a feature I always loved.
Absolutely love both games. I found this one a bit short, but is still engaging none the less. Also, it seems to be MUCH easier to play as Copen after you understand his play style. Like the 2nd to last boss took me like ten tries with Gunvolt, but only 1 with Copen. And I was barely even scratched.
Kid icarus uprising was a system gem which made the 3ds worth buying. While I admit the controls took a while to get used to, they played perfectly and comfortablely with an XL. Just make another game like it for the NX, and and I'd buy an NX in a heartbeat.
Still looks like a wii U 2. And we all know how THAT went. But all that aside, I'm just worried that it won't get any 3rd party games. Unless the two end pieces make up a full gaming controller, this looks like it's going to really uncomfortable to use.
Yes! This looks amazing! I've always wanted to play generations, but I only have a wii U and I don't have Gaming PC. Now I only have to wait for 2017...
I think he did a great job at it. This looks unlike Metroid prime 1, where I would constantly get lost and soon bored because I was lost. Having a high vantage point or destination which I can visually see at all times, like with a beaker is a lot more appealing than going through a lot of rooms.
Urgh. I'm so tired of fighting ther claim that Link should remain male that I really don't that much anymore. As long as it doesn't mess with the plot too much and the female version isn't "Linkle" (Shudders). It's a terrible, terrible name. How much lazier could they be?
I love Zelda as much as anyone else here, and probably more, but I really don't see the need for this. Although my it's just my dislike of trading cards. ¯(ツ)/¯
Kinda disappointing the way it is. I love my 3ds and Wii U, but when it comes to portable gaming, nothing beats the 3ds. Although it's a little bit chunky to carry around and a little bit embarrassing. But the experience is ten times better than even the best mobile games. At the very least, I wish the mobile games would be more like the 3ds games and mobile game pads for phones would be more accepted by users and app developers.
AS for the Zelda games, I really think the motion control of Skyward sword should be standard in all future Zelda games. It doesn't mean that it is the primary control scheme, but it should at least be included. SS's system of hacking and slashing felt natural unlike the sloppy job done in Twilight princess. pressing a button to slash is fine if you're lazy, but the real thrill comes when the controller makes you feel like you are actually in the battle. I REALLY hope they include the wiimote w/ nunchuck set up in Zelda U.
Personally, I don't think MM should have had a place in the top 5 at all. I placed the remake and I was hyped for it but it felt like it was missing something from it and was too short. And I know there will be people out there who will say that the producers had a very limited amount of time to create the original. But this was the remake and they had much more time to add what they wanted. WW felt even longer and more satisfying than MM.
I don't like how the physical games are not counted towards this, but I'd be fine with this as long as the NX has way more space on it for games. I have 32 gb wii u, and I have almost nothing on it, but I still don't have any space.
As weird as this is going to sound, I really wish I could just have the Amiibo with the dungeon and play it on the old version. I really don't like replaying games, but I like the idea of new dungeons.
@ZenTurtle Where did you get that idea? The Play store is as safe as the Apple app store, and probably better. I've downloaded hundreds of stuff from the play store, and I have AVG scan all my downloads, and I've never found anything.
I love the android thing. If they could emulate android on the Nx, they could potentially run almost all the games and apps from the play store. This is what the wii U was missing, it was missing the young audience. And since I'm a huge fan of Android, this just makes it all the better.
@Shiryu I feel the same way. It definitely wasn't the traditional game the hardcore fans wanted, but it's something different. I love the game, but now I only need to find some other people to play it with. 😝
Was I the only one who liked the new metroid game? I mean, calling it metroid was a horrhorrible call, since like nothing about it revolves around Samus aron, but I loved the idea of a metroid multiplayer. I know I'm probably going to get alot of hate for this post, but In all the metroid games, I felt really lonely, and this changes it dramaticly. Does anyone else feel that way?
@Ferret Hey! I really like android, and I've never really had too many stutters with my devices, which mostly run jellybean. And I've heard Lollipop is amazing. But I agree a console like Nintendo would totally wreak the purpose of an android operation system, the customization it all. That's the real reason why people buy an android powered device.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Switch Dock Helps Boost Performance, But Not in the Way You Think
I'm also wondering how people will be able to trick the switch into thinking it's docked like by using a high voltage battery pack.

Re: Nintendo Switch to Reportedly Include 4GB of RAM
@bubby444 But it is. They are more or less discontinuing the Wii u, while letting the 3ds live.

As long as there is a way to combine the two ends of the switch and still make it portable, than I'll absolutely buy it

Re: Metroid Prime: Federation Force Flops on UK Debut
It's a shame. It's a good game, but I just wish I could play it kid Icarus style instead, because the controls are kind- of awkward.
