I would buy Wind Waker for a 3rd time if it came to Switch.

Dang I got all excited about ‘Tunnel of Doom’ but it actually ‘Tunnels Of Doom’ I am thinking of that I played in my Ti.

My son watches these videos almost exclusively on Youtube kids. So I am sure he has contributed his part. I have watched a few 100 day challenges so I have contributed a tiny amount.

It is pretty laggy on multiplayer on the Switch, but my son who is a minecrafter likes to play it. Impressive I suppose for a mobile chip, but I will try the Xbox version after I pick up an Xbox S sometime around/after Christmas since it is free with a game pass.

Great game that I never finished. Perhaps it is time to go back to it after this update.

I will pick it up for my 7yr old who has just gotten into Pokemon via Sword. And perhaps if it is 'easy' my 5yr old can play it too.

I have never played any Pokemon besides way back in the day of getting Pokemon Red and never finishing it.

I ended up with two of em. I forgot I had ordered from Gamestop and Amazon. Well, at least one will be mint in box.

My kids would love it - seeing as how they play the ever loving poop out of Goat Simulator on the Switch.

My two kids (7 and 5) bounced off Mario Party for now. Maybe this is more up their alley.

I have never played any of the Mario Party games. I skipped the last one because of the 'required joy-cons'. Now that my kids are playing on my Switch I have enough regular controllers to dole out to save any drifting on my OG switch.

Anecdotally, me and screen protectors do not have a good run. 2 Ipads with screen protectors - screen cracks.

Again this is my experience. But it is hard to want one with my history of screen protectors.

@Grumble Haha. I was expecting a comment like that back. You did not disappoint. It may come down to which ever model I can find in stock - but I will go with the White model if there is any choice.

@Grumble Nice! I am sooo tempted to try and find a white model. But then I worry about it losing that white sheen with age and use. Fingers being oily things and all.

I will still have to pick up a copy for my 7yr old. He is still in his Hot Wheels phase and has a lot of the cars I have seen featured so far. Also, he has the time and patience (I don't generally now) to grind for something.

Please don't buy one in the US so I can get my hands on one. Thank you for your support.

Haha. I have one of those devices but a red color. I got it to help entertain a 7yr old on a 18hr drive.

I wish I had enough Game and Watch consoles to do a book counting the upcoming Zelda one - I will have a total of 3.

I will get one when I can find it easily enough online and give my kids the run of my 1st gen Switch which stays docked with the TV anyway.

I will consider picking it up for my son for Christmas. He is a Hot Wheels kid and has a lot of the cars I have seen in the videos. Including the Toaster car.

It has been soooo long since I played the original when it came out - I don't think I will be annoyed about a tower defense portion. I will consider looking for it. Maybe they will do a physical release.

Burnout 3 was the best. Too bad they went away from that fun.

Such a great game. I am thinking to double dip and get a physical copy.

I will get it for my 7yr old who is a Hot Wheels fanatic. We don't have space for a lot of the tracks so this should work fine. The question for me will be do I download it or (if available) get it physical.

I collect as a hobby. I have nothing 'mint in box' in my collection spanning multiple systems. Every game and every system has been used by me to some extent. When I die my kids can fight over how to divvy up my collection to sell or whatever. I will be dead. The only hunting I have ever done was when I splurged on a Game And Watch Donkey Kong (didn't come with a box or anything) as I can still see my memory of the first time I ever played it when it was brand new with a friend.

I like the wireless ones since they use batteries (vs rechargeable) for my kids. But man...they don't last super long it feels like.

I have one Switch in our house for myself and my two kids (waiting to get an OLED one for myself and then they can have the other). My CC is linked to the Switch as I buy some digital games (mostly physical). I get a notification when a purchase is made. My kids (my oldest is 7 my youngest is 4) know better than to purchase something without permission so it is not a concern for me.

I would likely buy my 3rd copy of Wind Waker if they did a Switch HD version.

I will pick it up at some point - perhaps I won't bounce off it like I did with the WIIU motion controls. And I may even like it more than BoW which I never even got to the first boss before I quit mostly due to the weapon breaking mechanic.

I like VIII a lot. I will see if they can patch up the performance a bit before I consider getting it.

@YoungLink64 You really really really want a white dock that is slightly better looking but don't want to pay for a whole new device? Hah.

According to another site I just read - you can get the 'upgraded' dock for $60 by itself from Nintendo potentially. For anyone who just cared about a LAN enabled dock.

"A Nintendo spokesperson told Digital Trends that both colours of the dock, white and black, will be available to buy on their own. They won’t include any cables (current standalone dock purchases don’t either), and while no price or release date was announced, expect to take the current dock price of $60 and push it a little higher to account for the added features.

Those features include...well, just one major thing, which is the addition of a LAN port, which will be fantastic news to anyone having to rely on a slow and/or patchy wi-fi connection. It also has rounded corners, which look a little nicer, and may also contribute to fewer scratched screens if you ever had to suffer from that particular issue.

The docks will only be available directly from Nintendo directly, meaning you won’t be able to grab one from GameStop or Amazon or whatever. And they’ll also be interchangeable, meaning you can use an old dock on a new Switch, and vice versa."

I don't have a 4k TV in my household, so no output to 4k is just fine. I loved my OLED vita, so looking forward to the improved screen when using handheld.

I will get one, but I won't camp out or work hard for it.

Nice. I will get one and give my OG switch to my kids to use (one of them stepped on it and cracked the screen even). For $50 I will take an OLED upgrade.

@rjejr It is very confusing. MC Java can only play with MC Java etc. I got Minecraft for my son on the Switch and then looked to get it on PC. I had to spend time (which begs to reason why are there two separate versions with the same names as you mentioned) making sure I got the windows version that would allow cross play with the Switch and his sister at times.

As a gamer who cut their teeth on the original Atari I am nothing special if not meh skill wise these days. Having two budding gamers who will soon be old enough to hand my butt to me without breaking a sweat I have lost my drive to be the very best as they say. As it stands now I am not ashamed to select dad mode and avoid games that seem to describe themselves as 'punishing' as I don't have the time or the drive to master the pixels anymore.

My son cracked the screen of my current OG switch (otherwise fine). I am itching to buy a new replacement and give him that one but I would prefer to wait for a new model with more than better battery life.

Looks pretty good. I will wait for some reviews on how it plays.

Played it on PC ages ago. Brilliant game. It is better if you have at least played Borderlands to get/appreciate the theme I think.

I will keep an eye on it for my kiddos to try.

I played this on the PS3 but never played any DLC. So I will pick it up for the Switch at some point.

If it plays well, I will consider it for my kids. They love Mario Kart 8.

@KateGray I have a screen protector on my Switch and it now has two cracks on the screen. Had a shock case for an Ipad - screen broke 2x. Ipad without a shock protector/screen cover? Perfectly fine. I am of the mind that screen protectors etc. in my experience make them more breakable.

That is a lovely ad - but I will need to see some reviews for it. I am sure my 7yr old would love it regardless. But since I hold the wallet, I need something not completely shovelware.

I will consider getting it when they have a 'complete' version if ever. I will play the mobile game in the meantime.
