I don't like this, I have many problems with it.

First of all, the DPad looks like crap. Second, the sticks look awful too, and lastly, why don’t he controllers attach with the magnets and instead opt for the USB port? If they used the magnets this could also pass for a GC controller to play in docked mode using a controller grip.

@Toshiro_Baloney that’s not true and I see this misinformation spreading every time there is an article about game key cards. On PS5 the vast majority of the games are complete on the disc, you have to install the on the console but no download is required besides the usual patches. There are exceptions like some Microsoft published games but those are the minority.

At first I was surprised this was coming to Switch 1 but then I remembered MGS4 is a PS3 game.

Too bad Twin Snakes wasn’t included, maybe later through the GameCube app.

@TYRANACLES Bastion and Mark of the Ninja are already on Switch 1. There is a version of Battleblock Theater for modern consoles in the work, but I haven’t hear any update on that since 2024.

Shadow Complex would be fun in Switch or Switch 2, fun fact, at launch this was one of the few PS4 games not compatible with PS5, but thankfully it was patched really quickly.

I don’t remember why he is an a$şhol€, I just remember he being one, and the comment section is not helping, everyone is just hating on the guy with no context. Although I remember Phill Fish, the creator of FEZ, being an even greater a$şhol€, that indie game movie didn’t help him at all.

However I am a firm believer in separate the art from the artist and I believe that a creators personal believes should not impact in our enjoyment of their creations, different situation when talking about corporations and business practices.

With all that said, it is a shame this is a paid upgrade and also maybe Braid was renowned back then due to the low competition and the hipster scene being trendy back then, but compared to the indies being released nowadays this game is subpar, while games like Super Meat Boy, Castle Crashers and even FEZ have aged particularly well.

I would rather them releasing the game on PS5 or at least a Switch 2 Edition, I want to play this game so bad but I won’t make the same mistake as in Rain Code of buying the game twice due to a superior version coming out later on more powerful hardware.

@the_beaver Why it’s not worthy when the size is less than 20GB, I hate that argument. It’s not like they are charging you less for using a GKC instead of a regular cartridge. There are many games under 20 GB on a regular cartridge.

@countzero Yes, on PS5 we have Final Fantasy Rebirth, Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition. Last gen (PS4) we have Mass Effect: Legendary Collection, Red Dead Redemption 2, Final Fantasy Remake, God of War: Ragnarok, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us: Part 2.

I believe there are other but I don't have a complete list. For PS5 is game bigger than 100 GB because that’s the size of their UHD Blu Ray Discs and for PS4 for game bigger than 50 GB.

May dad used to play almost daily the first Super Bomberman, so when the music start playing during the trailer I started smiling. Between this and Goof Troop releasing I have on my Switch almost every SNES game that my dad used to play many years ago.

I’m surprised Indiana Jones is full on the card minus Polish language. That game is 150 GB on PS5 and is a Game Key Disc, I wonder why they didn’t release the game in two discs instead.

You may want to correct the title, the DLC is Beyond the Dawn, not Beyond the Horizon, that’s the latest Trails game.

@h3s it was also released physically for PS4 and it was also released for 7th gen consoles (PS3, Wii and I believe also 360). I was lucky to find a cheap PS4 copy two years ago.

@Rebusmind there are no pre-rendered videos in the game. They are in game engine animations.

@nessisonett same thing happened with Fates and people didn’t like it as much as Awakening. But neither Fates nor Engage are bad games.

@ArcadeSixties I am not sure about Xbox but this doesn’t happen quite often on PS as it is happening for Switch and Switch 2. And I means updates that are needed to download parts of the game, not day one patches to fix some bugs.

Why would they not release the complete collection on the cart knowing that people bought this physically only because it was not a game key card. They should have delayed the physical release, and the worst part is they already did, they should have delayed it more. The worst part about this is that these idiots charge more for the physical Switch 2 version than the other platforms.

@charliecarrot despite being two years shorter than the Switch time as the main console for me it felt almost the same amount. Probably because the 3DS life was in my 20’s vs the Switch in my late 20’s - mid 30’s.

By the time the Switch 2 lifespan ends I will be in my 40’s and that’s really depressing.

@Mgalens I cannot comprended how these remasters run worse on Switch than on PS3, this one should be Switch 2 exclusive like how for Play Station is PS5 exclusive.

Lazy use of AI is not ok, however with time AI will be improved and we are going to see more of it on games, that is inevitable, remember that games are software development creation before an art form.

I just looked at the Steam page of this game and it has mostly negative reviews, and those reviews are recent.

@WheresWaveRace that’s not true, it checks after a week or two and that’s only for subscription based game like NSO or the first time playing a pre order. You can play your digital games whenever you like.
