Buying two 2d door stops was perfect. They are duarable. That’s tons of cheap games and well perfect for them. It makes great sense as far as library, price and duarability to a lot of parents.

Was waiting for a performance patch on switch and the game was left high and dry.

The game looked fine to me.

If they lower the resolution from 720p undocked to like 600p or lower to improve the frame rate I’ll delete the game. I didn’t even know it wasn’t 60 frames and the game looks beautiful and sharp on the switch.

@ParSnake I saw the pictures in the eshop and thought they were pre rendered. Then I tried the demo and was like damn son this is real time.

That's good but man 40 bucks? ouch. I would have pulled the trigger if it was 30 but 40? Nah.

UK sales should never be taken seriously for Nintendo.

What's next? Brazil sales? Its clear that Nintendo just doesn't have the same impact in the UK as it does in Japan or the US. It was all Sega and now for a while Sony.

Using the UK to judge anything Nintendo related is not good.

Nintendo has never really been a hit there.

I love this site but it's well know the UK doesn't give a crap about Nintendo. So i would never take sales there as an indicator as how well something is doing.

I respect the stance but while it was annoying the game was fully playable and fun even before.

Not giving a score is absolutely dumb. I’ve had the game since launch and it’s a blast. Did it have issues? Sure but still a very enjoyable game and the actual basketball gameplay is as great and realistic as ever. Best year.

I do miss it for nostalgia but he’s right. People complain that they have 1000 lives and my young kids see the game over screen often. So is hard to balance it.

Shame. Like nba I know it’s better on the other consoles but I’ve already put in close to 40 hour son switch cause it’s portable where last years version on Xbox one I barely put 5 hours or so cause is not as easy to pick up and play.

I blame EA. Gimped version with no friend online. How stupid.

I'm sorry guys but releasing the same game for free on another console then a week later asking a different audience to pay full price for the same game is weird and the timing messed up.

I was 100% ready to buy it but how can I justify buying this copy when Xbox is giving it for free at the same time.

Even if I didn't own an Xbox it would still be s hard sale knowing it's being given away free on another console at the same time.

I was 100% into this! Until Xbox live gave it free his past week. How stupid is that and a slap in the face or switch onwers.

The game has issues but so do the other versions and 2K NBA games are notorious for being glitchy at launch so it's not just switch.

The game plays a great great realistic game of bball. So I rate the game pretty high since the gameplay is amazing.

This review is missing info like how does it run portable and docked. What resolution is it in portable and docked. Stuff like that. If I missed it sorry but I'd like to know basic details like that.

@daveh30 lol. Oh pls. I bought 2K last year and had to wait a day to install like 80 gigs before playing. All I could do after a few hours was the practice mode until it installed everything.

Most games aren't playable until huge chunks are installed. Don't act like this is new. All systems do this already and in fact memory runs out much faster on newer systems.

Sd cards are dirt cheap. Switch is a portable machine. Everyone should have a damn sd card now.

This article is silly. These sd cards are way cheaper than the vita ones. I stick a 128 one in there and have tons and tons of games with updates and I'm not even below the 100 mark.

Add that to the switch memory and I doubt I'll ever run out of memory. If I delete all my demos I free up another 5-6 gigs.

I just finished this game last night so I'm all ready for this. Took me 9 hours to 100%. Longer than most uncharted games so not sure why the knock on its length.
