lol I think my scores on Star Wars are meh, except I remember doing well on Boba Fett's table. I'm proud of my Captain America score on 3DS Marvel pinball though. Maybe I'll have to pick it back up...
I don't have the attention span that these robots do. I usually have like one good ball, and then 2 or more trash ones...
Don't have a Switch yet. No interest yet because of time.
I am, and will always be, a big fan of 3D on the 3DS. I always put the 3D up to max, and I loved the improved 3D in the New 3DS. I never get headaches or anything from it, and I thought it enhanced the gaming experience.
It was very buggy for me the first couple of days, but seems to have stabilized. I have had a good amount of fun with it, brings me back to the fun from the early days of Streetpassing. Only now it's on a much larger scale.
I'm in Vegas so there are Pokestops and gyms all over the place (I captured the gym at the "Welome to Las Vegas" sign south of the Strip!). Within a couple minutes walk of my house is a park with four pokestops and two gyms, so my son and I have spent a couple hours there. We have seen dozens of other groups of people playing as well, and it's a fun experience. We always went for walks anyway so getting exercise has never been much of an issue, but now having a fun purpose has made my kids really get into it. They want to hatch those eggs so they're always asking to walk just a little bit longer. "Dad, we only need .5 km left!"
He already explained it, but when he says "ignore the negatives" he means the people who don't offer any constructive criticism. If someone just says, "Please stop making games!" or, "You should die because your games suck so bad," it's perfectly okay to ignore it.
This guy gets way too much grief from people (and handles himself well despite unnecessary grief), and I'm glad to see the comments section isn't too bad so far. I hope it stays that way rather than bashing some guy who's actually producing something.
I recently bought a couple of his games (Tabletop Gallery and Blok Drop U) because they were super cheap on discount and for what they are, it was absolutely worth it. Fun to play with my kid as he learns basic strategy and decision making.
-Which is the proper spelling: Woah or Whoa?
-Which is stupider: Pwned or Rekt?
-Beanie or Toque?
-Wrapped or Plan B?
-Has the proliferation of standardized tests in the U.S. over the last decade and a half effectively raised student achievement?
I'm downloading this day one. This is a developer worth supporting (SteamWorldDig was great), and the price is very reasonable if the game really is 20 hours of fun gameplay. I think I logged around 35 hours on Dig since I replayed it several times to better my ratings. Hopefully this has high replay value as well.
The early discount is a pleasant bonus, too. I wish Image & Form lots of success.
I picked up the Splatoon/Smash 32 GB Wii U on Friday for $250. Can't open it until Christmas though, as it's technically for the kid. Going to buy Mario Maker too.
I don't mind delays too much. So much to play out there already, and I'd rather the game be a better version than a rushed one. This concept still doesn't explain why Treasurenauts is like two years late...
I'm looking forward to it, as I love Renegade Kid's platformers.
Okay...so the only difference is you can meet a Happy Home Designer? The total was already 6 for any NZone visited.
Are they mixing up all the zones like the previous holiday events? Maybe that's what makes it an event, though neither this article nor the source mentions that.
My son got a bunch of Pokemon cards from friends for his birthday about a month ago, but neither he or I had ever played the game before. I downloaded the Gameboy Color TCG to learn the basics. That game is a good teacher, and now he and I (after I invested a little more into filling out our decks and getting energy cards) play it once a day. It's more fun than I expected.
LOL at the whole section in the video about the Pokemon lawsuit. The misunderstanding of the situation is fascinating. It's bad news for the guy getting that TPC withdrew the settlement, guys. Now he's going to have to spend more money defending himself in court, and I bet he'll wind up owing them even more in damages. $4000 was light. Funny how you paint it as if TPC has dropped the thing entirely because of bad press. More likely they withdrew the settlement because the guy misrepresented the entire thing online to get other people (suckers) to pay for his mistakes.
@Morpheel He also made money from more than just the tickets. I'm sure he sold things to the people who came in for this event for which he sold tickets.
I'm of the thinking in these cases that if a big company laid down the hammer, there was a reason. We're primarily getting one side of the story. I'm sure he made more than $60.
The $4000 likely comes from the money he earned in ticket sales. He used an IP he didn't own to sell tickets.
The only part that seems harsh is giving a short period of time to pay it off. Fortunately for this guy there are suckers out there to pay the fine for him.
@Morpheel Not that many are cheating. I was ranked 9th yesterday morning and now I'm 40th. A good portion of those who passed me are likely hacking the game. Still, those 25-30 cheaters will be the difference for some legit competitors getting a stone and/or mega speed up.
Like you said though, I'm sure Nintendo will remove them. I hope they are blocked from future uploads as well.

Re: Strange Rifts Are Appearing All Over Fortnite's Map Post Blast Off Event
Nope, nobody plays it.
Re: Strange Rifts Are Appearing All Over Fortnite's Map Post Blast Off Event
@NEStalgia Fortnite is always adding new things though. So while the game is old, the events and content in the game are new.
It's the biggest game in the world right now. Get used to seeing a few articles about it on a video game site.
The spoiled comments sound a bit ironic coming from someone complaining about something so trivial...

@Spoony_Tech I hibernate these days, only to wake up for articles about Zen Pinball tournaments...

Re: Popular Super Mario Maker Speedrunner and Streamer Has All His Levels Deleted by Nintendo
Uh, pretty stupid move on his part. His defense was that he had done it before and not been caught?
"Officer, what do you mean I can't run through that stop sign? I've done it 50 times before and nobody said anything. See, I have proof!"
I mean, when Nintendo gives you crap, just take it, put your head down and keep walking.

Interesting that Pokemon Rumble and Pokemon Picross are on the 3DS eShop list, but Shuffle isn't. Shuffle is the best of those free to play games.
Looking over all of these categories really made it clear to me just how bad a year Nintendo had in terms of games. Wow.

Re: Poor Odds of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth Coming to Wii U as Nicalis Says It's "Not Much More Powerful Than a PS Vita"
@Stu13 They fixed 1001 Spikes a couple of months ago. It did take a long time for them to get that patch out though.
