EDGE is listed under the 3DS section, even though it's not available on the 3DS yet. Does this mean it's coming out on the 3DS soon with this discount?

I stocked up and bought, ahem, $200 worth for $160. May even go back.

This is one of my all-time favorite games. I remember getting a Genesis for Christmas and playing this non-stop for days. It looked so much better than anything else I had seen in a video game up to that point. I still play through it a few times a year on my Genesis.

As for this version, an 8 is a very fair score. The options and customization are pretty great. The game plays a lot better now that the spin dash is an option, even if in my heart it feels a little bit like cheating.

The 3D itself isn't as interesting as I had hoped. The Star Zone levels probably benefit the most from it, as do the Special Stages. I was kind of hoping for more as far as the 3D goes, but everything else is so great I can't really complain.

Really looking forward to this. Loving the concept.

@ramstrong I don't remember the exact number now, but when I went to download it was over 12,000 blocks. Fairly big.

Yeah, I don't mind so much because I'd rather wait a few more months for a better game.

How many levels in this game, and is there an ending of some sort?

EDIT: N/M, looked it up. 18 levels, with a boss at the end of each level. Sounds good to me.

The funniest thing is that he actually did pay for the game. He wasn't given a review copy. This review made it money well spent.

@Romeo As others have said, one of the biggest draw to this site for me is that they do review every downloadable game. I hope they never abandon this practice.

As far as legit games though, one of the Mario/Sonic Olympic games last year got a 5.

I've almost downloaded the iOS version a couple of times, but I'd rather have it on my 3DS so I'll definitely wait for it.

Yeah, I wish I had waited one more day for this review. I downloaded this last night after holding off for a few days, but because I'm a big fan of strategy board games like Risk I caved in without reading a proper review.

I think down the road I could get into this game, but it just looked like a catastroeff on my first play. It is a bit much to take in and understand from the outset, and after about a half hour of play I still couldn't figure out if I was winning the war or not. I set it aside and will tackle it again when I feel up to really digging into the instruction manual.

Steamworld Dig guaranteed I'd buy whatever they put out next, so sequel or original idea won't affect me too much.

Sequel wouldn't suck though!

Wow, pleasantly surprised. Was going to get it anyway but now it's right at the top of the list of anticipated games.

My best run was earning a gold star on money, orbs, deaths (0 deaths), but finishing in 2:42...so I got the silver for time.

Now that I know the exact amount needed to hit the first three, maybe I could get under 2:30.

I enjoyed Hugo's other games Ace Mathician and Color Commando, and I like puzzlers, so I'll buy this for sure.

Drat. Now I need to find a new source for my 3D adult entertainment.

This is fantastic news. The first Sonic is one of my all-time favorite platformers. Playing it in 3D is going to be a nice twist.

Great review. Told me what I needed to know if this was a game for me, and I think I'll enjoy it. The graphics turned me off a bit, but it seems like the gameplay is there. It's cheap, too, so I'll give it a shot.

Downloaded the update on Monday. Game works perfectly, so far.

Not only did OoT make me feel okay for looking down on women and hate people with a darker tan than me, but I also break pots and cut down plants that belong to others in search of money.

This is the game I'm most looking forward to. This type of platformer is my favorite genre. So, even though it's a little disappointing that it's coming later than expected, I'm perfectly fine waiting a little longer to get the best game possible. I'd rather they take their time over rushing to get it out to adhere to some guess six months ago.

You'll now get six Miis from a Relay Station? Does that mean they're going to raise the limit of 10 Miis you can pass before having to clear out your Plaza? I hope so.

Solomon's Key is only $4? Is that the first NES game to be less than $5? I think it is. Good sign of things to come.

I've enjoyed playing this with my son (with the 3D off). The gyro controls work very well, and it's not too easy or too hard to get a bullseye, or whatever score you're going for. I definitely prefer the X01 mode as it adds a fun challenge by having to hit a double score spot first, and end with a double score spot.

I wish there was a bit more depth to it, though. A "season" or tournament mode would be a blast. Still, despite how basic it is, it's a pretty good simulation of darts.

Oh nice. Now I don't have to worry about my hinges when my kid plays my 3DS. I can just get him this brick. I like the option.

For people dumping on this...it's not meant for you. It's meant for kids who aren't supposed to use 3D, and that's also why it doesn't fold. Harder to break that way. I'm not quite understanding the backlash. It's not like this is taking the place of the 3DS. And this isn't a statement on Nintendo's commitment to 3D, as others have implied in this thread...it's so parents don't have to worry about the 3D at all for their kids.

@unrandomsam Why do people buy handhelds when they could just buy superior home consoles?

I'm a little over 8 million, so I'm about two million coins away from the maxing out. The Coin Rush mode added a lot of playtime for me; beating the totals I get from Streetpassing is still fun to me.
