Three Brand New Bowser's Fury Spirits Are Joining Smash Bros. Ultimate

Was not expecting this at all (I assumed they wouldn't do it because Bowser's Fury didn't add much in the way of new characters) - and a week after the Monster Hunter spirits? Neat

I really would love it if they added new music tracks from recent releases of IPs already represented in Smash. Spirits are fun and all, but I would love to hear music from games like Bowser’s Fury, New Horizons, Age of Calamity or Pokémon Sword and Shield in Smash. I feel like adding new music would go a long way in making the game feel more current without having to add anything too costly from a development perspective.

C'moooon, Ninty. You still have Geist, StarTropics, Endless Ocean and arguably Cruis'n that could use Spirit representation.

I'm super ok with another pass, and or any kind of expansion.. story, songs, assists trophies anything! I have around 1300 (or even more) hours I think in this game! just to come back to your comment, the songs of smash are something VERY important to me!

@thesilverbrick Definitely. I'd actually consider paying for a music pack if it had lots of remixes.

Geist and the first Endless Ocean are such unique, creative games, I love them both.

And I missed the Monster Hunter spirits I wish those spirit events were announced in the Switch news, I don't play this game that often anymore and news sites are spotty at best.

I thought they killed Mario off? Is this going to be like where they did a u-turn with Brian's death in Family Guy?

I'll be honest I never saw the attraction for these spirits and much preferred the trophies of earlier games which also gave you more information about the games they were from

I absolutely LOVE 3D World!!! Although it gets WAY too difficult for me towards the end...I admit to scanning my cat Mario amiibo to be the invincible cat hahaha

Wait.. are these LIMITED spirits? I mean I missed the Monster Hunter ones but I thought that they would reappear eventually right? So since I missed them, I'll never have them then? And are these the same? Because if that's the case, then I can't afford the lose more spirits.

@Manah I agree! I didn't even know it was thing until I missed it. I feel terrible that I won't be able to have those spirits now. I thought they'd reappear but looks like that's not the case.

@Fujimoto-San I don't think they announce when spirits enter the regular Spirit Board rotation, but it should happen with a future update

@PikaPhantom Sigh. I sure hope so, but I guess I can't do much but wait although I'll do my best to not lose these 3D World spirits. Thanks.

Yeah, they usually get added with the update that comes with DLC characters, but until then the incomplete collection will annoy me a lot.

When will we get a Sonic Mania spirit event?

@RodSD64 The second EO was even better, it allowed for so much more to do in so many more locations. I know it's considered a massive joke now since the Game Grumps played (part of) it, but it really is such a well-made game.

Agreed. Having an incomplete collection is annoying, but I guess we'll just have to wait.

@Manah Yeah, I missed the spirit event between BDII & Monster Hunter as well as the Age of Calamity spirit event, and guessing all of these will be added in come E3 (when I expect we'll see Fighter's Pass Vol. 10).

They'll all be there, but it's frustrating when I don't play for a few weeks because things get busy and an event passes me by. I'll keep my radar up for future events, though.

Hold up- a few questions:
1. Why is Giga Cat Mario a Spirit, but none of the normal cat characters are?
2. Why is Giga cat mario a support?
3. What level is Giga Cat Mario?
4. I would die for those kittens

@Sabrewing I played both Endless Ocean games (loved them both), but I liked the controls better on the first one. Also, the fictional fish of the second one didn't "click" with me.
I had no idea of the game grumps thing.
I think we should be friends hahaha, didn't expect to find another Geist and Endless Ocean fan

And ugh, I seem to have just missed the Bowser's fury spirits by mere hours yesterday. Should have played earlier this weekend.
