Re: This Pokémon GO 'Auto-Catcher' Can Catch, Battle And Raid For 5 Days Straight, Says Dev

KaiserGX

@SakuraHaruka That’s not like that at all. They are doing this to get resources for when they play the game. It’s not always easy or convenient to open up the app anywhere. That and you still need to get to those locations. It’s also safer in most situations to have something that’s not glueing you to the phone screen while you are doing other stuff.

When they would do those Pokemon Go events back when used to play it me and two other friends would walk around to get the stops and catching stuff. I was using the Pokeball Plus so I was having the ball catch stuff for me. If a rare Pokemon came out for my friends I’d take out the phone in an attempt to catch it because I think the catcher doesn’t use items that makes it easier to catch them.

Either way Pokemon Go is mostly a social thing. Game philosophy is a different here when it comes to a typical video game.

Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ Producer Thanks Fans For Requesting Game On Nintendo Switch

KaiserGX

@Cobalt Yeah but even in that video you posted, at the time how did anyone even realize their game was 10hz slower since you had nothing to compare it to? At least not easily. It seems most people weren't even aware or got used to it. The NES toploader had worse video quality than the toaster and some really bad jailbars but I don't remember it looking any different than my cousin's NES at the time.

@nonprophetmusic That's just some good old cherry picking. Sonic 1 wasn't configured well for PAL so the whole game is running a lot slower than usual as a result, instead of just running at 50hz.

Re: Surfing Pikachu Is A New Mode Of Transport In Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! And Let's Go, Eevee!

KaiserGX

@ShadJV The new attack Pikachu uses is not surf. There are fields moves that work as overworld HMs but they are not actual moves. Chances are Eevee can use that surfboard field move but not the new move.

@VexingInsanity All those Pokemon already have walking and running animations. They've been there since Sun and Moon. They would just have to make them for the newer Pokemon.

Re: Rocket League Is Getting A Fortnite-Inspired 'Rocket Pass'

KaiserGX

What doesn't help is this game is online only, so you'll have to update it to play. I almost wish I didn't buy it. Even if you only had the physical game you will still need to update it. I wish it worked like Minecraft where it only downloads what you want. The file size for the new Minecraft on Switch is a bit smaller because it doesn't force update all the skins you own.

Re: Hands On: Revisiting Kanto With Pokémon: Let’s Go! Pikachu And Let’s Go! Eevee On Switch

KaiserGX

Jeez people are still confused about certain things. I think maybe they should had explained more in the direct. You level up from both catching Pokemon and battle. Since Pokemon X and Y you always gained XP from catching Pokemon. Second you can release Pokemon to earn candies. These candies don't work like the ones in GO and they are used like the Vitamins and I guess scales to power up certain stats.

@Heavyarms55 Natures are in the game. In Pikachu's stats you can see his attack and defense stats in a red and blue color.

Re: Review: Happy Birthdays (Switch)

KaiserGX

@Anti-Matter What? You're talking about Minecraft and you go back to Portal Knights? Lol.

It seems though a lot of people don't really know how to play the game though... didn't think it would be this difficult for a lot of people to understand. This isn't directed at you btw Anti-Matter.

Re: Review: Suicide Guy (Switch eShop)

KaiserGX

I wish there were less platforming sections. Thought that might be a personal thing. I never liked platforming in first person games. The jumping can also be a bit awkward as it is with placing heavy objects but I think they had some good ideas here.

Re: Review: Bouncy Bob (Switch eShop)

KaiserGX

I think this wins my award for worst game I've played on Switch so far. It used to be Woodletree. It's just not very fun at all... that's all I really have to say about it. It would have at least helped a lot more if you could choose what direction you were flung at.

Re: One Of The Most Successful Nintendo Games Of 2014 Isn't What You'd Expect

KaiserGX

@camerica1618 No one ever mentioned Brother Bear, Home on the Range, Chicken Little and Bolt. Though I'd put Frozen on the same list as those movies. Also I didn't really like Beauty and the Beast and I never rely on nostalgia. I used to watch the 80's TMNT as a kid but I know today that, the show sucked a lemon. Actually I think I even noticed it when I was watching it as a kid too. I don't care how good the soundtrack is or isn't, since it's entirely subjective but I think Frozen lacked a lot in story, and a lot of it kinda didn't make sense and wasn't very engaging. I was kinda bored from the start, and there kinda wasn't really a conflict or villain. The whole thing was just a misunderstanding.

Re: Review: PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures 2 (3DS)

KaiserGX

"The Pac-Man character has fallen victim to something very similar to what Sonic the Hedgehog – we're looking you dead in the eye, Sonic Boom –"

No... the Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventure games are decent. They are not the broken mess Sonic Boom is. Though I prefer the original game on 3DS. This one is better than the first on Wii U.

Re: Review: Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 (Wii U)

KaiserGX

This game is a lot better than the first one. There is an automatic camera now. There are underwater stages, new enemies that are fought differently like the sharks (using mechanics that were never in the first game). Pac-challenges for the powers. Better bosses. You can collect and find 3 fruit in every stage which increases the replay value by a lot, the scare mechanic is actually useful this time to get a gold medal on each stage by getting the high score. The controls and game in general is a lot more polished. Powers like Fire Pack have new attacks and you actually keep your power this time around and switch to your normal form whenever you want. The level design is a lot better. I say this game beats Pac-Man World 1 (not 2) This game does as much new as Mario Galaxy 2 did. Personally I wouldn't recommend the first game, now that this one is out. There's also some really epic music and environments later on. Although I prefer the original on 3DS (completely different game) but this time the sequel both the console and handheld versions are the same.

Everyone interested in this game watch this review. This shows you a bit better idea of what the game is really like.

Re: Review: Bit Boy!! ARCADE (3DS eShop)

KaiserGX

It doesn't come off funny to me at all. I know he used to do let's plays of Bplus games and making fun of them, calling them terrible. I think it's just become an on-going joke that I never found funny to begin with (because I enjoyed those games, though Platchen was a bit hard for me to get into). I'm not saying he's still doing that, but given how this is the only review that I know of that gave it such a low score, when Nintendolife is always very generous, it doesn't really help my suspicion.

" you'll have to face other problems that run the gamut from puzzling design choices to outright broken programming." What broken programming? What does that even mean... he could be talking about anything. Why mention something like that and not talk about what it means?

It's like if I said a game I played had a bad menu system. What's bad about it? That's not really telling me much. Anyhow I really should stop coming back here. Don't want to start something again lol. I apologize again for my behavior.

Re: Review: Bit Boy!! ARCADE (3DS eShop)

KaiserGX

Um... lol the guy from Nintendomination said this on Miiverse. I guess I wasn't the only one to notice this.

"hey manfr3d...that Nintendolife review was very unprofessional, bad and mean. I never expected something like that from them :/"

No offense to the actual review or their opinion on the game, but it still sounded like you were trying to bash the developer.

Re: Review: Bit Boy!! ARCADE (3DS eShop)

KaiserGX

Sorry about that, when I said you liked Bit Boy I didn't realize it was the original one on Wiiware that you were talking about.

Also the shadow enemies have a red and purple color on each limb to show you which direction they are facing, which shows you which way is "right" when they move. You can change the camera to 3 different levels, as well as being able to change it with the circle pad. You don't NEED to use both. I've been only using the face buttons and I've been doing great. You just need to use both for a faster time. The type of walls you can be climb are all square pits in the middle of the levels (like Erik said) which are clearly different from any other type of wall.

Anyways I just realized who you were on Miiverse. Sorry to give you "flack" if that's even a word. It's ok to have different opinions but the review sounded really... catty as one of my friends described. I saw the glitch you posted on Miiverse. Haven't run into that. Though besides that, it seems some of the problems you are having, was just not knowing. Like the color scheme on the enemies. They are clearly there to show you which direction they are facing but you didn't notice that. Anyhow like I said I ain't here to troll. Just got a bit... steamed is all. It just seems this is the only review that gave it a really low and unreasonable score... when Nintendo Life is usually fairly generous. Sorry for that. There's nothing wrong with that, just took it kinda personal.

Re: Review: Bit Boy!! ARCADE (3DS eShop)

I've been lurking around here for a while since this review was posted. I used to post here often, as some people may remember me. I decided to stop coming because the community started getting bad. I finally have to come and say something since Erixsan did. There are a lot of problems with the review, such as all the false information. I also have never ran into any glitches. There was some unnecessary bashing like criticizing the design of the PixelFlies and insulting the programming skills of the developer.

Here are 3 other reviews that give an 8, 8.5, and two 9's. People seem to be enjoying the game on Miiverse, I know I have.

I'm sorry but this review almost SOUNDS like it's trying so hard to call this a terrible game. I know someone on here, has a beef with Bplus or something like that. Also Philip I think you also told the developer how much you were enjoying the game... you liked their page and posts. So what's going on here? Are you still running that unfunny bit on hating on Bplus games?

Sorry if I went overboard but I can't sit here seeing people bash the game, not even giving it a chance because of this review. The game is great and the developer has put a lot of time, care and love into it. I just want to see it be a bit successful. There are many other people on the Miiverse community for this game that think this review is overly harsh. Edit or delete my comment if you want, suspend me or ban me permanently. I've been a door mat for a long time, it's time I start stepping up sometimes when I think something is wrong. At least I said something today. Thank you and good day. (Don't bother replying because I'm not coming back) I don't mean to insult anyone or troll.
