As announced last month, next week the New Game+ Expo digital presentation will showcase "dozens" of new games from a variety of major (mainly Japanese) publishers, including new title announcements. The presentation will be broadcast on Tuesday 23rd June followed by a 7-hour stream on Twitch, and the organisers have revealed the schedule for that post-show stream, which you can see above.
The post-show is divided into ten 30/60 minute-slots and promises to expand on the announcements from the show with Q&As and gameplay demos. Everything kicks off at 8am PT (4pm BST / 5pm CET / 11am ET) with the post-show live broadcast running from 9am to 4pm PT (5pm - 12am BST / 6pm - 1am CET / 12pm - 7pm ET).
The organisers posted a video to Twitter recently that teases the companies who will be making announcements, too:
NGPX is one of several events happening over the summer filling the void in the gaming calendar left by E3's absence. We've already had the Guerrilla Collective presentations and The Escapist Indie Showcase to name just two. If you're having trouble keeping up, check out our guide for all the Summer 2020 digital events that will likely feature Switch-related announcements.
Looking forward to NGPX? Which publishers do you think will bring the megatons? Let us know below.

Please for the love of Odin let there be information on Shin Megami Tensei V. They promised us that game three years ago and have not come up with anything significant other than Persona this and Persona that. I'm frankly tired of that, and want to hear about SMT for once. Please.
@JR150 I feel you there. It was like that when everyone started asking for Demon's Souls to at least be ported to the PS4. But hey, nearly a decade later of asking and now it's on PS5. I'll take it lol
I hope you get the news you are looking for!
@TG16_IS_BAE
Thanks, lol. It just feels like a slap in the face to those longtime SMT fans who have been with the series since its beginning on SNES. And newer fans like myself who see Joker in Smash with no Persona on Switch are confused on his inclusion and just want more info on the game we were promised. Without SMT, then Persona wouldn't even exist because the latter is a spin-off of the former. Hopefully V helps people realize that.
SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5SMT5... Is all I have to say.
Come on Atlus, you can do it.
Till now, all those events was really disapointting, even to who was expecting nothing. Maybe this one will be a event like we wanna see.
@JR150 I hope there's something too. SMTIV and its sequel were so good. As great as Persona is, there's also something special about the vanilla SMT format that I hope will get more attention. Between Royal and P4G PC being released recently, Atlus has a chance to convert a lot of new Persona fans into SMT fans.
Anyone wanting SMTV, probably best not to get your hopes up, more likely gonna reveal P5S localisation.
I'm really excited to see what Sega/Atlus have planned for this event but I'm pretty sure we'll only get an western release for Scramble and gameplay for Catherine Full Body. I still hoping for an P4G PS4 and Switch announcement.
the two games I expect to see are Persona 5 Scramble and No More Heroes 3, maybe Sonic and the rest is probably RPG's and fighting games
Wanted: Shin Megami Tensei V news, after three years of silence, or news of some kind of Persona port to Switch
Will get: News of a free-to-play Persona gacha card game - coming to mobile, Vita and Switch
There won't be anything for Switch. Not from Atlus, anyway.
Even keeping my expectations in check (localisations and ports rather than new announcements) I’m still really excited for this presentation.
All my favourite publishers in one place. So there is more of interest to me than the average E3 presentation or Nintendo Direct.
I never set my expectations high for any show(even Nintendo Directs, where 99% of the time I'm satisfied with), but man, Atlus being here really makes me want them to reveal P4G and/or P5R for Switch. A full reveal for SMT V is long over due too.
Regardless, I'm really digging the lineup of developers here. It's sort like TGS "lite".
Sega Expectations: A brand-new Sonic Adventure game, SMT V out holiday 2020, dates for Persona 5 Scramble and Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Switch port of a mainline Persona.
Sega Reality: 25 minute deep-dive into Persona 5 Scramble, brief teaser for Sonic Forces II, and... that's it. Nada más.
@JR150 They are definitely sending mixed messages, with that regard. I’m no Smash officianado, but it looks like every character on the roster is represented in some Switch game in some way, so surprising that there isn’t any SMT game incoming, especially V.
@TG16_IS_BAE
Banjo-Kazooie is the only exception, though they were on N64. But regardless I just want some information man. Gameplay, art designs, music, SOMETHING.
Can't wait for King of Fighters XV and Sam Sho DLC. Roll on the SNK section
These companies that have these public video press-release presentations...they do know that with the internet, you can just put the information out there arbitrarily , right?
Can't wait for no SMTV whatesoever yet again.
S - show
M - the
T - freaking
V - game
Bring me Sonic Adventure 3!
My question here is what Wayforwand is doing. They have a FULL HOUR of stream time, but their only major franchises are Shantae, which just got a new game, and Mighty Switch force. Even if we got a new Might Switch Force game, that certainly isn't enough to take up a FULL HOUR of stream time when SEGA gets 30 minutes. What's Wayforward hiding that will fill out that stream time? Whatever it is, it must be pretty big, otherwise they wouldn't get a FULL HOUR when the big guns only get 30 minutes.
I hope that KOF XV will be shown during SNKs slot
23rd is the day of Saint Hans here.
We light bonfires, burn cartoon puppet witches, and sing about how lovely Denmark and the summer is.
So I'm afraid I won't have time to sit up and watch these otherwise exciting news unfold. ^^
