@MadCow74 really? I'm good with the Switch for another 5 plus years easy.

I won't upgrade. I'm happy with my switch and will be for the next 5-10 years. I think all life cycles should be well over 5 years. The Swith graphics are good enough for me. It's the games, not the processor.

@Sir_Ronson Origins on Switch is pretty good. I really want Books 1&2. I really enjoyed Y's The Vanished Omens on the Sega Master System (which is also called book 1).

"It took 7 hours with Yunica". My foot it did. With all the exploration and grinding, which isn't a negative, it's going to take longer than that. Easily 12-14 hours.

@nessisonett wow! That's great! That's a lot of game for $19.99. I like how there's some connections between this game and Y's the vanished omens, for the Sega Master System. That is easily one of my favorites.

@nessisonett I'm playing through the game now. I started playing as Yunica. So you have to play through 3 times to get the best ending? I really like the game. Id love to get Ys book 1 and 2 on Switch.

@Edu23XWiiU you know it. In fact I never not cared about what the competition was doing until now. They put together a string of surprises like Mario Kart 9, a Mario Galaxy, throw in Excite Truck, along side Pikmin 4, Metroid, and Zelda...forget it.

@Ronwantread I'd love to see it! That's a tall order. However, they have been quiet. But if they put together a string that included the new Metroid, Zelda, added Mario Kart 9, and some big names from the past like Excite Truck, a new Mario Galaxy, Pikmin 4, and another title, they could do it. They just need to make an announcement!

@MeloMan I would love to see "books 1&2" hit the Switch. When I saw this I could see somewhat of a connection with the tower...im going to get it because of that.

@FantasiaWHT it looks like you can see the connection to Y's (The Vanished Omens). The version was on the Master System and Turbo Grafix 16 CD. I loved it on the Master System...im gonna get this because of some connections to that game. It would be amazing if we received the vanished omens next.

@vanYth thanks for your comment. I almost got it. I just finished Horizom Chase Turbo. They added a bonus set of tracks. That is easily a Switch best.

Excite Truck is s gem. You can just keep playing..its a fun one.

I froze with excitement for a split second when I saw that headline. Then I read it again. That would be great....
It would also be great to get the Shenmue series...but who knows.

You would think something like a controller would be built today without issues such as "drift". I have joy on drift and was asked to send my controllers in. Screw that. I'm not sending anything in. They need to just fix the problem. Sega always made good hardware, let them do it.

Looking at the graphic comparison above definitely tell me I value gameplay over graphics because I don't see a difference

The compilation to me is a disappointment. Not sure what you think. A friend of mine mentioned the games are just ports and not enhanced? Is that true? I would not have included Mario N64 and not sure about Galaxy 1....( I thought 2 was better), adding 2 would have been a good idea. There's room to do it...Look at the size of the amazing DQ XI S. What's your take on the 3 game choices? (I've "talked" with you before...you're at least civil and can have a normal conversation).

We're skipping the all stars due to No GALAXY 2 and we don't need MARIO 64 again.

@RainbowGazelle I call it a home console with the ability to go portable. I'm glad they did this because now I don't have to sit in front of the tv 100% of the time to play.

I'm not sure because I grew up playing Sega. However, this may be an indicator here: I'm not coming to this site daily like I used to because the updates are weak. So to me nintendo needs to start swinging the bat again in 2020.

@87th The good thing about directs is that people who don't own a Switch can watch them as well. If they did some sort of a "show" through the Switch, then they would lose a lot of possible future Switch owners. I wonder what they are thinking. I'd like to see a direct right about now!

Sega banking all their cash over the years from these different ventures for what, a new sonic (who cares) game? Why don't they look at their amazing IP list and give us something good, new and fresh? Maybe they are secretly building a killer console?
