@sanderev who cares. I didn't buy my Switch to type papers. I bought it to play awesome games. I don't need an upgraded Switch either. I'm happy with this one.

@Burntbreadman I get it. It looks like a muted color rpg. I don't like downloading a game and not playing it through because it's not very good. Happened to me twice recently. Shadow's of Adam and Book Quest. Both were terrible.

I was about to get it but I noticed there are mechs so I said "no". Colors look muted like that waste of time Shadows of Adam. But seeing this received a "9" I have to rethink...

@Truegamer79 Ys VIII is amazing. You need to play that one. Ys 1 is my favorite and I hope we get a Switch release for that game.

I'm still hoping for Ys Book 1 to come to Switch.

I bought Book Quest. After a boring first 20 min you come to a dragon....who is brutally difficult. I mean no game should put a boss that difficult this early in a game. It's the first boss. I haven't touched it since I got Blossum Tales 2. Now that's a neat game

This game deserves a better review score. There's a lot to do in this one.

Was hoping for Y's

As a Sega fan boy from the beginning, it pains me to think if what Sega has become. I loved the hungry Sega days when Nintendo had a monopoly on developers and Sega was making all the Master System games themselves, while killing it in the arcade. Fast forward multiple hardware skus, and a Japanese parent company that didn't care about their American Arm and you now have 5-6 developers at a table saying, "hey let's surprise everyone and make another Sonic game!". Who cares. They have the greatest arcade games and an awesome catalog of IP's and they sit around thinking of ways to make another sonic game. Sad.

Let's go Pikmin 4!

Funny how RE4 is shown when the Switch is not getting the redone version next year due to its limitations. Oddly enough I never cared about the systems power....until now.

Nintendo has confirmed that it will not attend Gamescom this year in any capacity. But instead will focus on bringing Ys 1 and the rest of the Ys series to the Switch. Also joining the line up is Sega's Skies of Arcadia and a Master System Compilation.
I am so excited!

I'd love to see a bunch of master system games thrown on there.

@NintendoEternity yah, it does sound fun. I went something kind of similar in 1987. Sega was traveling around with these Master System kiosks. That's where I got to try the amazing Phantasy Star. After playing it, I couldn't wait for it to come out!

I don't know how rare, but I have in the wrapper a copy of Soul Calubur for Asian dreamcast. Language in Japanese.

@bonjong23 you and me both! I'd love to have Ys 1 on Switch. I am also surprised it's not on Switch already. I want that so bad I check weekly for info to see if there's any news. It would be great.

EVERY WEEK I look for news stating that Ys 1 will come to Switch. (Vanished Omens). I thought this was what I've been waiting all along for. However, we're closer to receding that than ever before! I really enjoyed the Master System version of this game. It has been released on multiple systems, bring it to the Switch!

@Royalblues the collection was $4.99 on the eshop. I think I grabbed it on the last day of the sale. At first I thought I made a mistake but as you progress through the game it gets better. I'm going to play them in order. If you like 8 bit adventure type games give it a shot. I think it cam be a little tough on where to go next so I walk around trying different things to move to the next level. I'll hopefully see it through and move on to fairune 2.

Sounds like Furukawa is concerned about not blowing the relationship with Nintendos customers. That's a huge step in the right direction.

@tadams587 wow. I thought after playstation/ Saturn generation color pallets were pretty much at a max. The pallets were high enough then. How many colors is enough?

@tadams587 my vision must be really bad or I'm old school and not a spoiled 6or7th Gen hardware and beyond gamer. 30 framed, 60 frames, 20 frames. If the game is good, I don't notice or care.

@iLikeUrAttitude exactly. Even with a "dip" in sales. Nintendo is still having money fights on lunch break! Switch is breaking all sorts of sales records. Nintendo is dumping money into their R&D fund....and their are still big games coming out. Now if they would just give me Ys 1 and a Master System Collection!
