Do I need to have played the first to play this?

I would LOVE a switch 2 version of Midnight Suns. One of my favourite gaming experiences and perfect for handheld

Whilst disappointing, I still think I'll pick it up when it's cheaper depending on reviews. Played a lot on Xbox and GM mode on the go would be super fun

Depending on performance, could be day one for me. Beat it on PS5, never played the DLC and now my little one is up, much easier to replay it handheld

Gutted I won't have mine today. Avoid GAME like the plague;

I pre ordered a Switch 2 from Game on April 7th. A week before release date, they cancelled my order. The following day, they invited me to re order saying it was cancelled in error. They have on their website still that preorders would be delivered today. I was assured by a customer service rep that it would be delivered today and it hasn't arrived today and DPD confirmed it won't. Game won't cancel or refund the order either despite breaking their launch day promise.

Has anyone in the UK who pre-ordered with game had an update on their order yet? Mine was one of the cancelled ones, then I was invited to repurchase Friday but no update in terms of processed or anything yet. They were quick to take payment though! If it's not here on release day id like to know as I can source one from elsewhere now

Got an invite to repurchase today so took a punt. They've taken payment. Just might not be here launch day

Happened to me. Gutted. Pre-ordered as soon as it went live. Gonna try my luck at the midnight launch Smyths are having. Needless to say I'm done with Game

Random question, but my 3 year old is loving Mario Kart 7 with the auto acceleration and the thing to keep her on the track. Does anyone know if World has these features?

Beat it on PS5 but no DLC yet. I might get it for switch 2 depending on performance

I own all 3 consoles and my series X was unused for about a year. But now I've played the PS5 exclusives I'm interested in & same for the Switch, I'm finding myself spending most of my time there. The console itself (Series X) is probably the best machine out of the three, I love playing old 360 games on it and game pass is great value. I do think it's under rated and would hate them exit the console market all together. More competition the better.

I have to massively disagree with this score. I've had the game for two hours and I feel like I've seen and done everything. There is little variation in how the characters play. There's about 2 animations for everything. No offline content at all and online tires quickly. 3/10 for me. Will be trading in asap

Day one purchase for me. Wanted a game like this for years. Will likely go with the PS5 version though purely for performance but it's awesome they're bringing it to Switch. Hope it's not a cloud version though...

This has honestly reminded me to cancel. I haven't used any Switch online services in months and to have the cheek to charge more for something that probably should've been there for a while is the last nail in the coffin for me. Until Arceus Legends comes, there's so little to interest me currently

I'm sad. My Switch has been gathering dust for months. Usually really enjoy the Mario sports games but this seems like Nintendo have phoned it in. Could very well sell my console at this rate

Fully agree with this. All the Switch has these days is Wii U ports or downgraded ports from Xbox or PlayStation. Sadly, aside from the odd session on Mario my Switch is gathering dust

I have followed our regulations closely and I'm a key worker who has still been working with young people with severe learning difficulties throughout the pandemic so have a think about other people's contributions and situations before you rant at an innocent comment because you don't agree with the wording. @Giygas_95 I have put quite a few hours into it. I didn't like the campaign so I didn't play much but my friend enjoyed it when i loaned him the game. Online multiplayer is fun but it shines in local multiplayer, especially four players with randomised teams. My wife, friend, his Gf and myself had many a fun night playing this with a few drinks. Yano, back when that sort of thing was legal!

I was crazy into the anime and one year for my birthday I asked my parents for a gameboy colour and pokemon Red. I used to chill in my parents room for a while at nights whilst my autistic brother got to sleep (we shared a room) and one night whilst my parents thought I was watching their tv, I found the present, yet to be wrapped up. Temptation overtook me and I opened both boxes so carefully, played for a few hours and then packaged it back up as good as new. I still remember my sister asking me how I had a Charmeleon on day one of having the game! Honestly, my most cherished childhood game.
