@OldManHermit it’s a pretty common composition, specially in anime, I don’t know if you have seen One Punch Man, but there is a scene where he jumps to fight the subterranean king, and is a similar image.

@thesilverbrick I’ll never understand why is it so hard for them to just release past games of their properties, is just common sense to do it.
Still, the moment those guys charged for premium downloads, that’s where they screwed up.

@sdelfin Right there with you, for me they didn't deliver what they promised, Mac users were left in the unknown and never did anything to reimburse them, and they still kept saying that they would bring it to OS/Lynux systems.

A sloppy and irresponsible company that made a generic metroidvania.

For me the game is good, but that's it. Nothing that amazed me or left me wanting more. And considering all the trouble it had with the switch, and that, for me, it didn't deliver visually what was promised, if they made another kickstarted, I wont support it.

I mean, sure, it’s cool to see it there and it helps to keep interest in the brand, but the lack of Metroid Prime trilogy news is quite sad. Well, let’s hope for the best.

This looks really good, I love turn based strategy games. I havent played any war hammer games before, is this like fire emblem, gameplay wise? Cause if it is, this day one for me.

Now this is a great DLC, and best of all, next version is coming a month after!!

I think i'll get one of those hairstyles, is not much, but with all the free dlc that they are giving, is not a bad way to say thanks.

Marvel vs capcom 2 or any darkstalkers, those are the games I would love they ported to switch.

I can’t count how many coins I spend in the arcade with my friends playing the original game and turtles in time, some of the best moments with my friends. I wonder why they haven’t released previous games for consoles, it would be a hit.

@Kalmaro you know what I’m not really fond of? The weapon construction model. I like that it shows the weapon tree development, it’s pretty cool and you now the path for certain weapon you want. But what I don’t like is that if you want a lvl 5 weapon, you can’t create it if you don’t have the previous weapon development, literally every weapon is made from scratch. Sure, it’s more cool two have a weapon and see how I evolves, but some of them you just want to create them in the moment. Other than that, this is becoming my favorite MH.

I would love if they bring gears of wars trilogy to the switch, that game was so much fun.

I tried Insect Glavie in previous MH games before, but somehow it didn't click, I may be doing something wrong. Good thing that I can always pick my great sword, and now I love it even more with the mobility I have in this game.

@KateGray maybe not Dark Souls, but imagine if they pick Doki Doki Literature Club, now that would be crazy/awesome!

@BloodNinja I swear they are just holding that Metroid Prime trilogy until they release the next adventure, but seriously, they could just release now while they work on the new one.

@SpaceboyScreams don’t worry, this franchise is overwhelming at the beginning, it happens to everyone. I would recommend that you try all weapons, one of them will click with you. After that, just hunt, little by little you’ll start to really get into it, and when you least expect it, you’ll forget about the learning and just enjoy the hunt.

Man, I’m really excited for this game, new mechanics, new monsters, apex monsters! But the lack of G rank...I’ll be honest, that doesn’t sound good to me, hopefully they will add it later on.

@TrowaAyanami with so much going on last year, this game came at the perfect moment. Just going around chatting with your island buddies, picking up items to sell, craft seasonal item and meeting new characters every season in a beautiful fully customizable island was perfect to take a breath of fresh air and keep going from this awful moment in history.

@Crockin I’m amazed they still haven’t gone full remake on FF6 or Chrono Trigger, just some of the best rpgs ever.

Apex monsters are back! New mechanics, armors, monsters, and I’m pretty sure this game will also have G Rank, I’m sure this game will be a blast,

@SpaceboyScreams Just what I was thinking, everyone complaining that guns and cars are in the trailer, and the description of the movie clearly says: an unexpected sandstorm transports Lt. Artemis and her unit to a new world.

I would blame to whoever decided to release that trailer, they should have shown armors, weapons and all they could without spoiling that much.

Any recommendation of Sega games? I playes on Wii Mario vs Sonic and it was really fun, but that's it, that's all my experience with sega games.

@Richnj I'm old enough to know that there is porn made from different franchises, literally if it exist there is a porn version of it, so yeah, is not something that scares me at all. But I also wouldn't want that if a kid clicks on a page to see a new game from sonic or princess peach or whatever, he finds that character giving oral to someone, and considering the great "security" that those pages have (if they have at all), anyone can see it.
So yeah, when kids can get involved in something like that, is not cool to me.

@Ghostchip I understand, I have nephews that fortunately grew playing with their Pixar toys, Pokemons and literally going to the park and forest. And one thing my sister did was to keep them away from computer/tablets/phones so they could develop all their imagination, and to prevent them from seeing something like this. As they grew up they began using browsers (with parental locks hehe), so they can be kids as long as they can be.
I'm not a prude at all, but I don't like when something that can be targeted to kids is used like that.

@Ghostchip Exactly what I was thinking. Nintendo is a brand that is family focused, and to know that maybe a kid was exposed to a hentai parody game of one of their main characters, that's not cool at all.

@RustedHero Oh I feel you man, it took me a while to buy MHGU because MH games are like crack to me and I knew the moment I bought it, all my back catalog will have to wait hehe. When I read rumours about a new MH coming to switch I thought unless they bring something awesome, maybe I'll skip it for my sanity, saw the Direct and yep... my sanity is lost again hehe, day 1 for me.

I bought the digital game, and it's already downloading, I thought it was until next friday, not complaning hehe. Anyone else has it?

I don't see the problem with it, is an anniversary limited edition, same thing happened when they released the master quest of Ocarina of Time for Game Cube. Hell, even when people used to buy music CD or DVD, there was always a limitd edition of something.
It will be available until March, is not like just a month or a week, so if you don't want to buy it digital, you have time to buy it, is not gonna dissapear just because some disgusting scalpers are trying to profit from it.

@Yosher I was thinking the same, I used to play a lot the first one, I don't know how this one is, but reading all this comments about it, I think I'll wait for a review first.

Already ordered the basket and had luck with the salmon and monarch butterfly. Currently I'm working on getting all color variations of all flowers.
