PQube and FairPlay Studios have revealed that Fallen Knight, a futuristic sword-fighting side-scroller, is headed to Switch on 23rd June.
The game sees players jumping and slashing their way through a new adventure as they take on the role of a descendant of King Arthur's close companion, Lancelot. You'll have to face off against six unique enemy heroes on your quest, and there's an intriguing kill/disarm mechanic in play:
"Blur lines between integrity and responsibility as you battle against old acquaintances and new enemies in this sword fighting action platformer. With the disarm mechanic, players are given the option to kill or disarm enemies. Will you uphold or break the Knight's Code of Honour?"
Choosing to disarm enemies rather than outright murdering them unlocks alternate endings for you to enjoy, and also earns you 'honour points' which will grant access to different upgrades and abilities. If you're liking the sound of it so far, check out these screenshots:
As noted above, Fallen Knight launches on the Switch eShop on 23rd June. Make sure to only disarm each other in the comments below.

Visually, this reminds me a lot of a promising Wii game called Explodemon. Unfortunately, it got cancelled on the Wii and moved to 360, and the gameplay went from promising to disappointing.
Anyway, I hope this turns out alright
Sounds cool. I’ll never turn down a platformer!
This reminds me so much of Megaman Zero, this is going to be an auto-buy for me
Might buy. Looks interesting. I wish we got a bit more gameplay but I'll take what I can get
This looks...."mighty" familiar.
One to put on the wishlist for sure.
Love the visual, and sword fighting side scroller sound fun!
This looks pretty nice, something to look out for.
I'll wait for a review, but it looks to be better than what Mighty No. 9 delivered, but maybe smaller on content.
Looks like the Zero edition of Mighty No 9, but I still like the look of it.
Also, to be fair, Mighty No 9 wasn’t quite as bad as everyone says it was.
@somnambulance yeah I think the massive disappointment of the whole debacle overshadowed the game itself, it’s perfectly decent. But decent wasn’t the expectation that was set.
This looks generic. I said it. Meh.
Oh god, that opening line about integrity and responsibility sounds awful. Fire whoever wrote that line from their marketing team! Game seems decent, I’m not sure about it though. Doesn’t feel like a hit, seems a little on the mediocre side.
@Grahamthecracker I rated the game a 6/10, which I think is fair. Decent is the best way to describe the game. I thought it was fun enough though. On the other hand, I’m totally ok with it existing because I loved Mighty Gunvolt Burst
@Corbs the platform game is my favorite genre. Third person adventure games are a close second tho. Have never played a FPS or Battle royal game under my own volition, only if I’m somewhere and it happens.
It looks pretty good!
Looks decent but needs a review.
This looks pretty interesting and seems like a game I would enjoy playing.
The knights look very much like Spiral Knights. Which makes me interested.
Looks good. Gonna keep my eye on it
@BloodNinja anything published by pqube is not worth playing so far, so i doubt this will be different.
@twztid13 Oh right, I should have noted the dev. Thanks for that!
NINJA APPROVED
Like an anime prom on fan night... wait.
Why do I get Mighty No. 9 vibes visually...?
Hopefully you can Unlock new characters/costumes and such.
Always love my games to have customization options.
