Just like every other sale. Idk I might pick up dc villains I’ve been wanting to try it. I loved the lego Batman games on the ds and it is almost Halloween after all.
There are some good games here, but can I specifically recommend Lego City Undercover. I haven't played it on Switch, but it is one of my favourite Wii U games. There's no challenge to it, but it's still fun to play, and inventive and funny. It's a nice world to walk around in.
Great deals if you don’t already have them. Don’t miss out on LEGO City Undercover!
Looking forward to the Lego Skywalker Saga game.
@WickedUnicarnBoi I had it when it came out and it ran like *****, no idea what its like now. Gameplay wasnt anything special either.
Depressing that, apart from MK11, we only get LEGO games from Warner Bros.
It would be so nice to have the Batman collection for instance!
Lots? Halloween? None of those are halloween, thats not lots thats a couple and its all meh deals haha
@tourjeff
Lego games are awesome
@tourjeff I would to have batman arkham asylum/city on the switch
@hadrian The loading is still bad with all versions (PS4, XBONE and Switch). Other than that, the game is still a fun experience, granted, besides being open-world, it's the same lego games.
@hadrian Idk why, but at first i didn't like Lego City Undercover's gameplay either. But it somehow grew on me and i started to find more and more that i enjoyed. Now i absolutely love it.
@EngineerMario yes, they are, but a bit of diversity would be be great.
@earthinheritor it’s not a couple and some of the deals are pretty great...
Got mk11 on ps4 might dd and get it on switch. Anyone know if it’s descent on switch?
@AmplifyMJ Safe assumption is, that, as usual, Nintendo put loads of deals on the NA stores and gave the middle finger to Canada like they do during almost every sale.
They discounted Aftermath, but even discounted it's still the same price as in the Brazilian store. It's a bummer there are no sales in the Brazilian store, since that would bring down the prices a lot.
@Miyamotosan I definitely agree. It was a nice world to explore.
@tourjeff 2 seasons of Batman Telltale games can kinda count as WB
It's not in Europe as well? Anyway, we have 7 of those, which are either great or good, and don't think I want any of the others even at discount. (Already have Lego Jurassic World on the Wii U too)
Does anyone recommend Mortal Kombat 11? I remember reading its quite blurry on Switch. Long loading screens?
@OorWullie it’s pretty damn good; I enjoyed it quite a bit. (Looks way better on PS4 though, NGL)
@0blivion Cheers. I think I'll go for it.
@tourjeff
Yeah, I don't know if Arkham Knight would run and look good enough on Switch, but the rest of the games would perform fine. The Wii U handled some fine.
@OorWullie Jolly good- hope you dig it.
@earthinheritor I’d imagine these deals are absolutely nothing to do with Nintendo
@OorWullie all I can say is my mate has it and he loves it, for what it’s worth
I guess I'll final pick up the Harry Potter collection. It's gonna be a long, lonely winter.
@WickedUnicarnBoi It runs and looks good on Switch. It’s not the prettiest game, but none of the LEGO games are. Best LEGO game made so far. Of course the best will probably be The Skywalker Saga which comes out next year. Still good though especially if you haven’t played any of the LEGO games past the force awakens.
@bobzbulder funny you say that because that actually was my last lego game I played lol. I think it is the only lego game I’ve never beat because it was just not fun. I thought it was just that I got older, but then I replayed some of the other ones and they are still great.
@WickedUnicarnBoi Yeah the force awakens was really bad. It had some good parts, but overall it had too much filler. Never played the ninjago game, but the LEGO marvel super heroes 2 game wasn’t that good. Lots of good ideas but several of the levels are just slogs and I never got past them. The incredibles game was good and I really liked the city areas having a gang take over, but the levels weren’t that interesting in my mind. The dc supervillains game was the first one I had played after Batman 3 so all of the new mechanics that got introduced slowly over the past few games were all new to me and it was really fun. Idk how it would be to me now tho. The older ones were really good. I think it was the simplicity of them which makes the repetition fun and it doesn’t always point out what you should break which made the puzzles actually somewhat hard even if it was just finding the right block.
There's seriously 9 Lego games on Switch?
@WickedUnicarnBoi Do it. It's definitely worth the price. Quite fun.
@bobzbulder Ninjago is fun. The combat is better than most lego games.
If I could connect my Switch to an external hard drive and play games off of that, I might be more tempted to buy some of these large-file-sized games. My 256GB microSD card is getting pretty full.
Too bad that these sales are limited to the US only....
@nikochanr3 Oh, how so? Is there some sort of combo system or does it just feel smooth.
Was just thinking I'd like to have another go at LEGO City Undercover. Good to see this!
@bobzbulder It's been a while since i played but there's a more complex fighting system than other lego games.
