More Hints At Samus Aran In Fortnite Emerge, This Time In A Comic

If this is a hint, then that's pretty vague. I mean, if Samus is coming to Fortnite then that'd be interesting to say the least.

I think that's a stretch. Yeah the shoulders and arm placement is similar to a smash 4 pose buuuut yknow anyone with armor can be like that. Besides, if Sammy were in Fortnite she wouldn't use her arm cannon, she would pick up guns normally. I think zero suit works better in terms of picking items up

I would love Samus's ship as a glider, or better yet, a goofy inflatable ridley to glide down on.

I'd buy it immediately if true. Fortnite is still very fun. Also can we please get the Prime suit and not Other M again? That would be swell.

@SuperCharr Fortnite is the first free to play game that I have willingly, and excitedly, paid for character skins. I feel it's supporting the artists, whether they work for Epic or not, and the prices are actually reasonable. There's also not really a story within the game, outside of the odd event that more or less sets up changes to the map.

Metroid needs exposure and as much as it can get. There's not enough of us Metroid fans to keep the series going otherwise we'd be sitting on a lot more games over the years.

While Fortnight isn't the most ideal place for her it would gather some interest of who she is to a lot of people that know nothing about the series.

I mean, sure, it’s cool to see it there and it helps to keep interest in the brand, but the lack of Metroid Prime trilogy news is quite sad. Well, let’s hope for the best.

@HammerGalladeBro I wouldn't mind a redesign for Prime 4. Anything though besides the Other M design. I'd even take the Samus Returns design. I'm just tired of being reminded of the worst Metroid game in my opinion. I wish they would have gone with the super or prime design in Smash Ultimate as well.

I'd be happy to hear Metroid getting more of the spotlight, but the thumbnail of this article had my hopes shoot up thinking it was Metroid Prime or Switch related

I've got no issue with Samus joining Fortnite but if this turns out to be the only Metroid related news at E3 I'll be disappointed.

Wouldn't that be something, the last game Samus is ever going to be appearing in is going to be Fortnite, just brilliant.

Samus could honestly use some help with the younger crowd. My kids went from knowing zero about Halo, to wanting shirts and toys after MC came to Fortnite. They are too young for the Halo game, but it is on their radar now. Could see this really pushing sales of the next Metroid game to newer gamers.

@SuperCharr personally I think this is a great idea. Samus being part of the battle pass would be ideal. The Mandalorian being part of the past Battlepass would kind of put Samus into the minds of a lot of people who play fortnite if they treat her with the same regard. It’ll generate buzz, and make Samus more mainstream which in turn will lead to better sales for Metroid Prime. Imagine how many people who play fortnite have never heard of Samus and will hear and see that buzz and then show more interest in her games.

I am tired of companies putting there characters in such a god awful game.

Honestly, the silhouette is pretty vague, and the leaks listed a lot of other odd characters that could have been put into Fortnite. Not like the leaks prove it'll happen, and if it did, it would be weird if Samus was in her armor unless she just absorbed guns and changed what was shot from her arm cannon. We'll see, I'm just kind of tired of seeing Fortnite around so I'm kind of jaded to the idea.

It would be very strange if this happened, mainly because I'd expect Samus to be exclusive to the Switch. Nintendo's usually very picky about keeping their characters on their own consoles, and Fortnite's had console exclusive characters cross over onto whatever platform it's on.

-More popular character in general
-Has recently appeared in a game
-Samus has a gun arm
-he could come with an ancient tech wrap

Also captain falcon, while unlikely, would be awesome

Samus and Captain Falcon would fit right in Fortnite. I’d definitely play if one or both were added in.

Still waiting on my Issue 3 to come in, lol. If this ends up being true, that would be so crazy; I find it hard to imagine Nintendo would allow Epic Games to tease their first-party character coming to Fortnite in a DC comics crossover, but what do I know?

Looks like Samus featured in Fortnite was originally planned as a promotional tie-in to the Metroid games, before they were delayed.

Samus and the Metroid series as a whole, having exposure on a popular game, I see it being a good thing (whether you like the game or not).
