Re: Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series Was Developed For Switch First

JJsNeighborhood

I didn't know too much about Klonoa growing up, but I'm really glad I got my hands on the Phantasy Reverie Series last year. So far, I've only played a good chunk of Door to Phantomile and I haven't touched Lunatea's Veil yet. From what I've played, Klonoa's franchise is quite fascinating and I hope Klonoa gets some more remasters and new, original titles in the coming years.

@E_maniac It's a good thing a lot of the Wii U's exclusives are on the Switch. Here's to hoping Nintendo Land somehow makes its way to the Switch.

Re: Mario Strikers: Battle League Will Be Supported With Free Post-Launch Updates

@KindofaBigDeal People will start riots over the fact that there is free content in a game only to complain that another game has no free content at all. Whether a game offers free content or not, that's fine because as long as the overall experience is enjoyable, the free content shouldn't matter. There are always gonna be fans who will complain about everything, regardless of what game it is.

Re: Ubisoft Forward Event Confirmed For Day One Of E3

Ubisoft may show some amazing games this year. It is more likely than not that they will announce Just Dance 2022. Just Dance is becoming kind of a family tradition for me. Ideally, I would like to see a new Rayman game announced. It's been almost a decade since Rayman has had a game, so I really hope Ubisoft announces something soon.

Today is MAR10 Day, the day where we get to celebrate our favorite plumber. Probably, I'll record a special Mario-related video for my YouTube channel. Not sure yet what the game will be. Happy MAR10 Day, everyone!!

I played a lot of Mario Tennis today. I went back and played Mario Tennis Open and Mario Tennis Aces, two titles I haven't played in quite some time. It was nice to revisit these two games. I've also played Smash Ultimate, which I haven't played in a while. I was playing with Daisy and had this special rhythm with her. I don't know why, lol.

I'm going to spend some time playing Mario Golf: World Tour more on my Nintendo 3DS. It's been a while since I've touched the game and I want to get some practice in so I'll be ready for Mario Golf: Super Rush. I am also planning to play Smash 3DS, Pilotwings Resort, Kirby Mass Attack, as well as many other DS and 3DS titles.

Re: New Nintendo Infographic Shows Off The 30+ Games Announced During This Week's Direct

This Nintendo Direct featured a great variety of games. I will be buying Pyra and Mythra for Smash Ultimate, Skyward Sword HD, Knockout City, Mario Golf: Super Rush, Mario-related items for AC: NH, and Splatoon 3. Among all of these games, Splatoon 3 is the one I'm most looking forward to playing. Unfortunately, we have to wait until 2022, which is a long way off. At least other games will keep me entertained until then.

Finally, we're getting a Mario sports game on the Switch besides Mario Tennis Aces. I'm definitely getting this game. I enjoyed playing World Tour and read great reviews about Toadstool Tour, so I can't wait to play Super Rush.

Re: Talking Point: What We're Hoping To See In Today's Nintendo Direct

JJsNeighborhood

Mario Sports games need to be more plentiful on the Switch. The only Mario Sports game we got was Mario Tennis Aces. Where the hell is Golf, Baseball, Strikers, or even Hoops? What about another sports collection just like Mario Sports Mix or Superstars? We haven't gotten anything else besides Aces.

I think the sport I'd like to see come back the most is Strikers. It's just so intense and hard-hitting in comparison to all the other sports. Mario Hoops has gotten no attention in about 15 years now. I honestly don't care what sport it is; we simply need more sports Mario games on the Switch.

Re: Pokémon Rumble Developer Ambrella Has Been Acquired And Dissolved By Creatures Inc.

I'd say Rumble is my favorite Pokémon spin-off series. I grew up with the Rumble series, and it's entertaining and enjoyable. I remember playing the first game with my sister, and we had a good time. She always picked Giratina, and I always picked Charizard. We had such a fun time.

Even though I love the Rumble series so much, I have only ever played two games from the whole series. I've played both the original and Rush. I have never played U, World, or Blast. I'm hoping to pick up the 3DS titles sometime in the near future. Rumble U is a maybe.

Re: Sonic Writer Talks About His Love-Hate Relationship With The Fandom

JJsNeighborhood

Okay, I agree, the story in Colors and that of every Sonic game afterward is kind of corny and cheesy at times. But what I can't stand is longtime fans acting as though the writing is THAT bad. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect by any means, but many people are acting like it's the worst thing ever, which is just absurd. Pontac and Graff did a pretty good job after a decade. I don't care what others say.
