E3 is back this year, and for many of us it'll be the same as always - sitting in comfort with snacks at hand and watching too many livestreams. Though we won't necessarily have the groan-inducing entertainment of a live show, the good news is that Ubisoft has dated its presentation with the 'Ubisoft Forward' brand. It'll air on 12th June at 12pm Pacific / 3pm Eastern / 8pm UK / 9pm CEST.
As you can see Ubisoft is sticking to its usual approach of having its presentation early in the E3 week, and we're still hoping for a bizarre unveiling of Just Dance 2022 (should we just create the game page now, Ed?) that involves dancing pandas.
Ubisoft, it should be noted, has been a relatively enthusiastic supporter of Nintendo Switch. One of its iconic E3 moments was a reveal of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and just last year we had Immortals Fenyx Rising on the system. Clearly there'll be Ubisoft titles that simply can't squeeze onto Nintendo's hardware, but there's also a good chance of seeing some Switch games nonetheless.
We'll be covering it as normal; see you on 12th June!

Looking forward to it!
After last year it feels a little bit surreal to be able to look forward to E3 again! It's only about 8 to 9 weeks away now too.
Yeah, Just Dance 2022 for sure, even though the game is slowly dying a painful death, they make plenty of money and that's all that matters. I'm hoping for a good action game though
Just Dance 2022 LOL 🤣
BEMANI games on consoles and Arcade are way much better than Just Dance in my opinion, from the songlist, gameplay, graphics, etc.
Even Just Dance as cameo in Rabbids Time Travel Wii looks very awful in term of songlist and gameplay.
This is what i call DANCE.
This is what i call playing Rhythm games.
I'm waiting for revival of Imagine and Petz series on Nintendo Switch.
Ubisoft may show some amazing games this year. It is more likely than not that they will announce Just Dance 2022. Just Dance is becoming kind of a family tradition for me. Ideally, I would like to see a new Rayman game announced. It's been almost a decade since Rayman has had a game, so I really hope Ubisoft announces something soon.
I know this is not coming to Switch, but I'd like any news on Beyond Good and Evil 2... I'd like to know if it is coming to PS4 at all at this point...
Also a remake of the first Assassins' Creed would be nice since we are getting close to the 15th Anniversary in a couple years. And outside of maybe Assassins' Creed II that one has aged the most and could use a retool similar to a mixture of Assassin's Creed Unity's combat and parkour, with the openness of Assassins' Creed Origins. Would be a great way to satisfy fans who are not huge on the Witcher Creed games... like myself.
Hmmm normally if a say something relating to an event, it won't happen. So I should do the opposite in order to get what I want...
"A new Rayman won't be announced in this!"
The real question is if Just Dance 2022 will be coming to the immortal Wii
@ItsOKToBeOK That would be a hoot! The Wii never dies!!! Though I think it is time for them to move on now that the Switch seems to be catching up to Wii numbers within the next year or two.
UBISOFT and EA shows are completely pointless.
Every announcement is "This is NOT the year we stop making this annual game!". If we're lucky we also get a "Remember THIS IP? We still own it! So here is a game!"
@HotGoomba
Rayman Raving Rabbids 4 for Switch.
How about that ?
@HeadPirate Let's be honest Ubisoft's show will be Assassin's Creed (a new Witcher Creed game not one hardcore fans actually want which is a remake of Altair's story), an update about Watch Dogs, maybe a new Tom Clancy shooter, and Just Dance... that has basically been Ubi's MO for the past few years. To expect otherwise... I'm really not expecting much.
Would Mario+Rabbids 2 be announced here? Or would that be a Nintendo announcement? That's the main thing I want from here. Could never get into Assassins Creed, so nothing much else I suppose.
@ItsOKToBeOK I want one for the Gamecube just for the sake of it. Invent a new peripheral for the Gamecube for this, I'd buy it and I don't even have a Gamecube
@stinky_t might be both.
We might see new Mario + Rabbids game too. A new Just Dance, and maybe some other animated games.
Ubisoft, can we get the first Watch Dogs on switch on plz
@anoyonmus I can live without the first Watch Dogs. Played it on Wii U and it was okay. I'd prefer Watch Dogs 2... but I'd be really happy with just the Ezio Trilogy on Switch considering we already have ACIII and ACIV.
Probably will be as boring as last year's Ubisoft Forward. Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, etc. yawn Spinter Cell...for VR? Ugh! Probably info on the Avatar and Star Wars games Massive are working on; not much else.
I love ubis games but the whole online only crap and all the cash shop crap and dlcs is getting old. Not to mention no RS co-play that’s worth a crap.
@Anti-Matter Not what I want but I'd take it.
shame they haven't been exciting for years as they blend all of their franchises into one big open world blob that are becoming harder to tell apart
The already released Scott pilgrim from its prison. They have nothing more I require.
Just waiting on prince of persia announcement for switch. Otherwise for me I have moved on from ubi. I do need to go back to Immortals though.
One word: Rayman
Rayman Origins + Legends Definitive Edition 19.90USD
This is good, E3 this year will be all of the dumb direc style events we got last year spread through 3 months, all condensed down to just a weekend which is great for people watching.
@jancotianno I'm kind of thinking Rayman 4.
@Anti-Matter Imagine: Party Babyz for Nintendo Switch, cannot wait for disappointment.
@LouBlu08
I will gladly play Imagine & Petz series again on Nintendo Switch.
Microids already did this from My Universe series.
