Re: Soapbox: Video Game Injuries Are No Laughing Matter

JJsNeighborhood

When I use technology, I don't really get any pain. I just deal with my hands sweating constantly. I dislike it because my hands sweat constantly, even when I don't do anything. Other than that, though, I do not handle a lot of video game-related injuries. My eyes can handle staring at screens all day, considering I look at screens every day, working on my homework and playing video games.

If my eyes ever hurt, which is uncommon, I just put on some glasses that prevent my eyes from straining. While I personally don't feel anything when I'm playing video games, it's kind of sad that our bodies can't handle sitting behind screens for days, weeks, or months afterward. Great article, btw. It is so well-written and I really enjoyed reading it.

Re: Feature: Best Wii U Games

I have a lot of Wii U games. The Wii U was a commercial failure, but for me, it is the best console of all time. It brought my family together in a way no other console has ever done before. I have a lot of memories playing games like Mario Kart 8, Nintendo Land, Wii Party U, Wii Fit U, and more. People can diss the Wii U all they want, but it will always be my favorite console.

Re: Super Mario 3D World Trailer Shows Off Two Minutes Of Bowser's Fury Gameplay

Bowser has undergone so many transformations throughout the years. However, all of those are child's play when compared to this. Bowser now appears to be larger than ever before, and he actually looks scary as well. In the trailer, it states that Bowser "has become gargantuan and lost all control!" Something tells me that a mysterious new power has taken control of him, otherwise, why would Bowser Jr. ask Mario for help? Also, I really hope we'll get to play as Junior. He'd be a great character to play as. I may also ask my sister to play it since she's a big Bowser Junior fan.

Re: Mario Superstar Baseball

Mario Superstar Baseball is one of the most underrated baseball games of all time. Not many people talk about this one. When I was younger, I had no idea this game even existed. I only knew about Super Sluggers. I wanna get this game one day. I'll see if I can find it at GameStop or something.

Re: The Wii U First Launched Eight Years Ago Today

For anyone who hates the Wii U, let me make this very clear. Yes, it was one of Nintendo's worst-selling consoles, but it did so much right. Many people call it a bad console because of its sales. They only pay attention to sales and nothing else. It did so much more than that.

The Wii U was Nintendo's first step into HD. New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land were so great. Nintendo Land was so much more than a Wii U tech demo. The asymmetric gameplay it provided was nothing short of nostalgic. I still play this game even to this day for my Youtube channel. I also have so many memories of playing it with family and friends alike.

The Wii U is also home to so many great games. Sure, the third-party support was lacking, but most of the games it offered were really fun. Plus, the entire catalog of the Wii is compatible with the Wii U. People push this console away because of the branding and the sales. It offered so much like controllers that have joysticks that don't drift (looking at you, Switch), really great games, amiibo, and so much more.

I just want to give a voice of reason when it comes to the Wii U. This console offers so much and it's such a shame that people push it away because of its sales. This underrated system gives me so many memories and will continue to give me memories for years to come. The Wii U will always be one of my top favorite Nintendo consoles. So, the next time you or anyone else says the Wii U is a bad console, maybe this comment will make you think twice.
