@JaxonH Yes. They probably did this so they could sell the game a little cheaper. It's ok that you would rather pay more and have more of the game on the cartridge but tbh. I think the majority of switch owners feel differently. I understand 2Ks decision but it's also very okay that you think it sucks. I just love that the game has been released for the switch.

People always find something new to complain about. I'm just happy I'm finally getting 3rd party support on my nintendo console. This is a portable and sacrifices had to be made and this is a small one imo. Xbox and ps4 also need extra HD space because og installs. These sacrifices help the hardware to be reasonably priced. It's ok to be critical but this complainy kids ranting is getting old fast. The switch is here and it has 32gb of storage. Not much but it's not going to change anytime soon. Buy it or don't. Personally this doesn't bother me at all since i bought an sd card 2 months ago with 128 gb. Sure it's getting maxed out at some point, but I'll cross that bridge once I get there. Peace.

It's just different imo. The original DooM was groundbreaking and will always have the ultimate nostalgia-vibe.

If this game had been released already I would have bought it. But at this point with ALL the new games being announced this game no longer has me interested at all.

@HopeNForever You do realise that when you remove the switch from the dock. The clockspeeds go down.

Nintendo did the same thing with Zelda. I understand why they are doing this. At least ubi have made it clear what's included in the dlc. Nintendo didn't specify before months after zeldas release. I'll be buying the mario rabbids dlc.

Thought this game looked cool even before the review but my heart is set on phantom trigger. I may buy this when it goes on sale tough as it really looks awesome.

@MeloMan I've seen other reports from youtubers stating that both games will get physical releases which would be the only RIGHT thing to do. I'm getting both games no matter what but my love still goes to physical releases. I feel you brother I really do

@Gamer83 Just bought the VITA version of Rev2 3 weeks ago and deleted it after 2 hours of playtime because the port was BAD imo. Bad sound and poor framerate. As I deleted it I thought to myself. This is coming to the Switch soon I hope. Match made in heaven. <3

This is the best news in a VERY LONG TIME. Love both games and the switch is just the way for me to play them. DAY ONE FOR ME!

@scamander I'm not arguing anything. Just stating that I'm not happy with what I got atm. It's great for you if you have enough on the switch. I'm just saying that Nintendo's IP's splatoon and arms are NOT something I want to spend my time with. Xenoblade and warriors are more in my interest. I just want a broader selection of games. I am almost positive the switch will be a success in the long run. But I want a broader and better selection of games from 3rd parties. Simply because Nintendos own lineup doesn't cover it. That's just how I feel and hardly anything to be "argued" with even though you probably feel the need to. Yes I do own a PC for the bigger games but I still want to be able to play some of them on the switch because it's a freaking beast of a portable. Have fun brother.

@scamander It's okay. You don't need to take it personally. The very least they could do is fund some of the bigger games to come to the console. If the reason why aaa tp games are not on the switch is that developers don't want to risk losing money on their games because of "low sales", then I think it's about time Nintendo used some of their billions to fund some bigger games to come to switch. If Nintendo did that it would all become very clear if these aaa tp titles could sell well on the console. I'm not asking for the whole library of 3rd party. JUST TWO GAMES. It's not to much to ask for as a dedicated nintendofan. The question is. Are you a dedicated fan or are you a dedicated fanboy?

I agree with alot of his points. The point about the cartridges is not true imo. It's a cartridge console giving the portable nature of the switch. Though; It all points to the fact that Nintendo still doesn't realize that 3rd party support is vital for the success of the switch. I love this years Nintendo lineup don't get me wrong. But I need more on the switch for it to be truly amazing. Resident evil 7 and one more aaa tp game would have been enough. I'm not saying rip Nintendo switch. I'm just saying it is lame for us fans that Nintendo can't figure out this "thirdparty problem". AND IT IS A PROBLEM.

Save transfer is not good enough if you need to get your broken or damaged switch replaced. Cloud saves is the new standard. Come on Ninty.

This is one of the games that really stands out on the Switch IMO. Day one purchase for me. BuuuUT! I want it now!
