@YummyHappyPills You aren't nuts buuut! Of course he's saying this officially because if he announced the 3ds dead the sales would plummet. Facts as of right now is that nintendo has no games in development other than Detective Pikachu that we know of and that sends a message that the 3ds hasn't got a long way left. I believe the 3ds will be discontinued in late 2018 or early 2019. Because we only know about 1 big game atm. I could be wrong though.

I thought nintendo would cancel the companion app and let voice chat and lobbies be allowed to run from the switch itself. I actually believed that the delay was because of the very bad press nintendo got when releasing the stupid app and they would try to make a more streamlined online service. I need more info on this but as it is Nintendo is messing this thing up and I'm NOT going to use my money on a stupid online service when it's this poorly made. The only thing I play online on switch is Fifa but if the online service sucks I just won't buy fifs on switch in 2018. Come-on Nintendo. Up you game!!!

Saw gameplay, loved the look. Played the demo loved the feel. This game is simply going to rock my world. 😉 IT Better!! Because xenoblade c 2 was a huge disappointment.

I thought I would love it but it's not what I thought it would be. Mechanics sometimes feel too luckbased more than actual skill or know-how. To be honest I have only played 5 hours of this game and I like it buuuuut. The price tag is Waaaaaay too high considering what you get. Just my opinion though. 😊

Fortnite is lame idc. But for all those who like the game I hope it comes out for switch. 😊

The darkest dungeon was high on my lost until I realized that you can buy heroes and dlc for real money. The game is expensive enough on it's own. Waiting for a discount.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Hmm.. I wouldn't personally buy this but try to check your local toystore and check out how much kidstoys actually costs.. If you compare prices with other pieces of toys on the market this actually isn't overpriced.. Well.. I guess that's subjective after all

FIFA 18 FUT on switch is ultimate garbage. The servers run like ****, dunno if it's EA or Nintendos fault but someone should be ashamed of themselves. If you are in FIFA for the FUT experience DON'T buy it on switch.

@therealgamer I feel your disappointment brother, but calling the '"mini direct"' trash is a little harsh imo. Everyone overhyped this direct and it was only a mini direct which means we will see something more in April or May before e3. Big stuff is coming I think. But yeah, this mini direct is disappointing imo. But The world ends with you and the new Mario tennis looks bomb. I played the DS version and it was my favorite game on the system.

Chill out everyone. It's a rumour. But I Believe it to be very true. But still a rumour. I don't believe Nintendo has ever shown a direct without officially announcing it at least 2 days beforehand. We'll see

@Anti-Matter It's just an opinion and it's just my opinion Fighting games are fun but ARMS just didn't do anything for me after I played for about 3 hours total. No singleplayer nothing for me to do but play online and it just got boring imo. BUT COME ON! To call ARMS AMAZING is waaaaay overstating what this game actually is. You may like the game sure, but there are way better figthing games than this, but those games are sadly not available on the switch "yet".

@gcunit ARMS is SUPER boring and Splatoon is only for those people who like Multiplayer games imo. I personally play with my friends on PC and play singleplayer games on SWITCH. You can't just put in 5 MUST BY GAMES and not specify why, because gaming like anything else is subjective. IMO ARMS is not great it's okay. It's a fighting game with a unique controlscheme and cute characters, but I would rather play Tekken or Soul Calibur any day than ARMS. Replay value in ARMS is not very great and the lack of singleplayer-modes is just abismal. Splatoon 2 is great if you like those kinds of games. Singleplayer mode is boring and adds nothing new to the table but multiplayer is REALLY funny, but not really something that I want to spend time on because I play PC with my friends. I would bet that Splatoon will be more recommendable when the Nintendo Online service goes live. Zelda and Mario! YES. Both game of the year contesters which Zelda won. If you like great singleplayer experiences both games will leave you satisfied. Mario Kart is Mario Kart you either like it or you don't I personally love it, but it's best when you play it splitscreen with friends.

@Lroy yes! Bought it myself physical but sold it because I wanted it digitally. I have just been waiting for this sale and 50% off is a VERY good price. Still worth the full price though.. I have been playing it for 50+ hours

Aaaaand my dream of better performance and better resolution in portable mode has died. I think the game is good, but omg it looks so incredibly bad in portable mode. It actually looks so bad that it annoys me to play the game the way it's meant to be played. In portable mode. I hope they fix this at some point. If not, 👇👎💔

I really don't understand why this app is a big deal
Shield tablets have been able to do this for years. Furthermore you have to be connected to the same very stable wifi connection for the gameplay to be smooth, which means you can't take the console with you on the go. I see a few people using this app but I'm definitely not one of them. By looking at the gameplay video above it seems like the game is running inconsistently.

Never played skyrim. Never played doom. Getting both. Physically of course.

It's difficult to compare and say which is the best because some of the games are over 20 years old. For me, I enjoyed Galaxy 1 the most but I think Super Mario 64 is the greatest achievement simply because it was Mario in 3D FOR THE FIRST TIME and it was goooood. Odessey is the best game sure but only because it's using all the best elements from all previous Mario games. It's difficult drawing lines between the games in this franchise imo. The only thing i really care about is that Super Mario Odessey even though I'm almost 30 years old blew... Me...... Awaaaay!

@JaxonH Yes. They probably did this so they could sell the game a little cheaper. It's ok that you would rather pay more and have more of the game on the cartridge but tbh. I think the majority of switch owners feel differently. I understand 2Ks decision but it's also very okay that you think it sucks. I just love that the game has been released for the switch.

People always find something new to complain about. I'm just happy I'm finally getting 3rd party support on my nintendo console. This is a portable and sacrifices had to be made and this is a small one imo. Xbox and ps4 also need extra HD space because og installs. These sacrifices help the hardware to be reasonably priced. It's ok to be critical but this complainy kids ranting is getting old fast. The switch is here and it has 32gb of storage. Not much but it's not going to change anytime soon. Buy it or don't. Personally this doesn't bother me at all since i bought an sd card 2 months ago with 128 gb. Sure it's getting maxed out at some point, but I'll cross that bridge once I get there. Peace.

It's just different imo. The original DooM was groundbreaking and will always have the ultimate nostalgia-vibe.
