Re: Soapbox: We Like To Grumble, But Nintendo Switch Online Is Actually A Very Generous Offer

HenrikW

@geordie amen brother. Whoever wrote this article is entitled to their opinion, but the statement bolt as it is, also comes of as pure stupidity. Comparing it to PS and Xbox doesn't mean ****. You have to compare this to What we had and what we are given. What value do we get from this service that we didn't have before? The nes games are a massive joke, becuase we have purchased them a million times already, only this time we don't actually own them. The app is a total mess that should have been integrated in the switch itself from the beginning. This article for me, just shows that Nintendolife is only trying to soothe the angry fanboys that roams this website. Nintendolife: if this is your take on the nintendo online and you feel you have to make excuses for Nintendo on this topic. This is the final nail that shows me personally, that you have become utterly obsolete. Shame!!

Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 6.0.0 Is Now Live

HenrikW

Just played SMB3 for 20 seconds and now I won't be playing anymore of the NES games on switch EVER because I have a classic Nes mini. Oh and also becuase I have a 7 day trail on nintendo online and I immediately cancelled the auto renewal feature. I will never give Nintendo my money for this insanely ridiculous service that gives nothing in terms of value. I hope others will make the same statement, but here on Nintendo life I'm not counting on it. πŸ˜”πŸ˜’ Nintendo = πŸ€‘

Re: Opinion: What Did You Think Of Today's Nintendo Direct?

HenrikW

Luigi's Mansion 3 made me happy. After that the only two things not completely bull **** was New Super Mario Bros Deluxe and epic yarn for 3ds and both of those are ports of games I've played before and not released before 2019. People are entitled to express whatever they feel about this direct and about Nintendo. My opinion is that this direct was a little better than the E3 direct, but that still doesn't add up to anything near "good". I don't know if all this is because I'm getting older or Nintendo is getting more lazy and or obsolete when it comes to first and third party releases. All I can really say is that this direct could have made 2018 more interesting but failed to do so IMO. It.... Was.... Bad! Side note: now I have to pay to play online! How dumb are the people who made up this online service? JESUS!!!

Re: Video: Ubisoft Shares An Extended Gameplay Walkthrough Of Starlink: Battle For Atlas

HenrikW

@Frendo I'm not really subbed to Gamexplain anymore because their content is dumb imo. Did you watch the videoes on a phone, TV or PC screen? What size is the screen you watched it on? Btw bad framerate can be hard to pinpoint if you're not playing the game yourself. It could be that it will be stable at launch but I'm not getting my hopes up. Waiting for reviews on this game.

Re: Miyamoto Doesn't Want To Make An MMORPG Because It Would Be Boring

HenrikW

Don't care about MMORPGs so whatever. Miamoto is a legend but getting to old and stuck in his ways IMO. I'm not saying that he should make an MMORPG, just saying that his former statement about story isn't important in videogames is absolutely laughable. He should move on to an administrative role at Nintendo.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct?

HenrikW

I'm not sure. But what I'm sure of is that Nintendo has done nothing but disappoint me in 2018. Why wouldn't they just announce everything in this direct is what's actually puzzling me. TBH Smash Bros. just isn't that big a deal for me anymore, it's fun in small amounts sure, but other then that! meh. Don't really want to spend my time playing smash Online and my friends have moved on from this game aswell. If they won't spent time on a story mode I won't buy Smash U and making a Mario Tennis Aces style story DOESN'T COUNT! :-/

Re: US Trader Rubs Salt Into Nintendo's Share Drop Wounds With $400 Million Bet Against The Company

HenrikW

@kurtasbestos Haha! So this should be a site for people with only good things to say about Nintendo/Nintendolife? Why is it that a lot of people on this site get's REALLY offended when someone actually has a legitimate critical thought/comment about a story/article or about Nintendo as a company? I happen to think that Nintendolife has gone downhill the past couple of years both in content and about being critical of Nintendo's way of doing business. I actually think the comment section is way more interesting than the actual articles.

Re: Nintendo Talks Maintaining Momentum And More Announcements Coming This Year

HenrikW

@Blizzia Good for you. I'm glad you're happy with the rest of 2018 but I'm not. Those games you're mentioning are not Western aaa ports. If you actually read what I wrote you can tell that's what I commented on. Most of the games you're mentioning are not AAA and not from western developers therefore not what I want. Imo this Nintendo E3 is the worst I have ever seen and If you think differently cool, but the lineup for the rest of this year sucks and there is pretty much no games nintendo could announce that could save it for me. Final comment from me.

Re: Nintendo Talks Maintaining Momentum And More Announcements Coming This Year

HenrikW

@Blizzia You can think whatever you like dude! IDC. The fact is that the only game on this list that I want to play is Octopath Traveler. I'm not speaking for everybody just myself. I'm not pretending that Nintendo games are the only games that matter I'm actually trying to tell you that I think otherwise. The ports that I want isn't Nintendo games. We need or rather "I" need ports from 3rd parties because AAA games build from the ground up by western 3rd party developers are FAAAAAR, far away at this point because the switch can't handle multiplat games. AND YES, I bought DOOM and liked it and I did buy Wolfenstein, but the latter is simply to muddy to play in handheld mode. So please take your list elsewhere to try and make a point. Plus + yeah some games are coming but take a look at the stokeprices and tell me that nintendo didn't **** up big time. Oh what's that: you can't? That's what I thought.. πŸ˜‚

Re: Nintendo Talks Maintaining Momentum And More Announcements Coming This Year

HenrikW

@Blizzia You can think whatever you like. But Super Mario Party, A glorified PokΓ©mon Go spinoff and Smash ISN'T a great lineup for the rest of this year. And 3rd parties still aren't taking the switch seriously. If Nintendo has "something" up their sleeves it's going to be another port or some lame mini game collection. For me 2018 so far has been a very boring year to be a Switch owner and well good for you if you feel differently. Personally I would like to see some last gen ports of very great 3rd party games (Fallout, Batman, Darksiders etc.) But I really don't think that's going to happen.
