@Tsurii Ehh, she sounds like an unhinged yandere. Considering what she does in the OR Delta Episode and how she acts there, it works just fine for me.

Maybe if they hadn't wasted time personalizing the submarine with paint and logos, they would have won the game.

Everyone seems so out of character. Especially Courtney of course... It was off putting o_o

Gonna be blunt, this reminded me of how Ruby and Sapphire kinda slapped moments that would've made more sense for one team on the other. Like how the whole submarine/underwater thing made sense for team Aqua, but not Magma and the volcano/meteorite scene making sense for Magma, but not Aqua. It just reminded me how much better Emerald was overall.

Given people mentioned other dubs, I'll say the Italian one was pretty corny this time around.

@Aqueous Sapphire is probably taking on Team Aqua while Ruby's taking on Magma, similar to Pokemon Adventures

Cortney was really interesting in there.

I liked this episode for sure, though what was up with Courtney's voice? I imagined her sounding older, more mature, and removed in her speech than she is portrayed here when playing OR.

The Waifu Episode... the worst one so far

Why did she sound so.... Aroused? Throughout this episode. I hope they won't do the same/slightly different thing with Aqua too. I guess Game freak just sees Magma as more interesting characters. I suppose they are more intelligent. Still I would say it was one of the more odd episodes. Still I hope they explain how Looker is in Hoenn in one of these episodes.

@Tyranexx Yeah, with Pokémon The dubbing can be hit and miss at times; hit: Lance, miss: Courtney (although I don't quite mind). But the real star here is the majestically destructive Groudon.

I thought Courtney was on point from the vibes I got from her in Omega Ruby. She always sounded like the quiet/robotic yet crazy psycho to me
Also Tabitha has that untrustworthy grin on him and his "yes-man" attitude towards Maxie as if to hide his intentions.
I hadn't watched any episode until now and then I went all out. So far I've loved everything, the only thing that got me thinking was the aparent "care" that Silver showed towards his pokemon, as if he trusted them or was glad for their help.

@Ed_Fairway: Very true! I'm glad that they went with the recent third Gen remakes for inspiration instead of the original games. I feel that ORAS fixed a lot of what was wrong with RSE regarding the plot and some of the game mechanics.

@Tyranexx (several tears of fear from other mother profile ) Yeah, plus it sorted it the problems X and Y had; flat characters, slow pace, etc. Let's just hope Sun and Moon provide a good story, not Black and White levels, but good nonetheless.

Would enjoy the series more if the voice acting wasn't so awful.

Those team magma guys really don't like the water routes in Hoenn, and honestly I can't blame them.

These episodes are awesome, but I am REALLY hating the cliffhangers!

@Ed_Fairway: Overall ORAS definitely trumped XY in most aspects. I did find Y's pacing pretty slow before the second gym, almost to the point where I quit playing. The only thing that I felt like XY did better was the character customization.

By the way, I also felt Maxie's voice was... weird.

Surprisingly tame comments her compared to the ones on YouTube.

@Tyranexx Quite, but even after more than half a decade;I still hold Black and White; it's plot and it's sequel, close to my heart.
