We've seen various unofficial tributes and reimaginings of The Legend of Zelda, including some flashy fan efforts and more touching commemorations. We're pretty sure we haven't seen it as a Hong Kong crime drama before, though...
Well, it's happening thanks to Dayside TV - thanks, Eurogamer - and looks suitably strange. There's the moody hero, the Princess caught up on the wrong side of the law, and the loud police chief who can't control his rogue detective. Plus there's hand-to-hand combat, of course.

The whole thing is due to be released on 5th May. It should be interesting to see.

Now let's hope it's good. I like the idea a lot, but often these action reimaginations are "dark focused" and tries too hard to reference the original rather than overall well written. (I'm mainly thinking of that Power Rangers reimagination:P) We'll see!
Of all the things a Zelda TV series could be we get this, but honestly it looks alright.
