It's the end of the week, which means there's more Pokémon Generations to enjoy. The video series, which is due to run up to 23rd December, continues to work through the stories and lore of the main games, and it does so with impressive style.
It's a double helping of episodes this week - first up is Episode 9: The Scoop. "While the Hoenn region rejoices after avoiding meteoric destruction, reporter Gabby and her cameraman Ty uncover the story of a lifetime."
Then there's Episode 10: The Old Chateau. "Late at night, a young traveller and her Chansey lose their way in Eterna Forest. They soon stumble upon a house—but what waits inside?"
Are you still enjoying this series?

Creepy... just in time for Helloween
These Generations episodes have been fantastic.
Man, I wouldn't mind if they shared a little bit of Generations' animation budget with the new Gen 7 anime.
Man, I wish these episodes were a bit longer. I'd love to see more of Episode 10.
I thought these were great episodes; can't wait to see more.
It's too bad Cheryl is stuck in the Old Chateau with a Chansey that only knows normal type moves...
Please turn this into a permanent thing!
I really liked episode 9, it's probably my favorite so far. 10 was good too, appropriate for Halloween.
Welp, this shows that even Pokemon can get very creepy, I'd honestly never think that the ghost girl from the Old Chateau would be that creepy, I guess it makes sense why these are on YouTube and not short specials on Cartoon Network, or wherever else they show Pokemon on TV
@JubilifeRival Actually the gen 7 anime has a bigger budget than gen 6 and maybe even generations
@ShadowLuigi2 I know what you mean. Basically every episode leaves you on a cliffhanger thats never continued
@ThePotatoWarrior Exactly, especially that episode with Kyogre.
Clicked this for the Linoone thumbnail. Best HM Mule in the game.
Until they actually make one called Haitchemmule.
Aww, I was really hoping for an episode on Zinnia's background story. But that Deoxys fight was really great too.
Nice creepy Chateau, though I wonder if I should skip those episodes concerning PearlDiamond and BlackWhite since I didn't play the games (yet) and there could be some spoilers?
Two episodes for the weekend was quite a treat
Nice to see that these episodes can show that the world of Pokémon can be darker than the regular anime would have you to believe
these episodes were awesome

Episode 9 was interesting, it shows how far Gabby is willing to go to get the scoop. The animation for the battle between Mega Rayquaza and Deoxys was great!
Episode 10 was amazing as well. Not only was it in time for Halloween, but the Old Chateau was one of my favorite locations in D/P/Pt! I always wondered if those two ghosts weren't really just ghost types messing with you....
I was happy to see Gabby and Ty featured in Generations. They were my favorite trainers back when I first played Ruby. I remember training by challenging them and as soon as I'd won, I'd fly to their next battle position. I love all the little touches like Ty's Rotom shirt and Gabby's Gulpin key chain hanging from her USB stick.
Episode 10 has been my favorite so far. I love when Pokémon goes spooky. Sabrina episodes and Pokémon Mansion episode from the original anime series were really fun. But unlike those episodes, the generations episode could give children nightmares. Cheryl and Chansey were cute. At first I was thinking that Rotom was behind everything since it's the special Pokémon there but since there weren't any household appliances shown, I figured that it must be a Pokémon from the Gastly line then since Old Chateau doesn't have any other wild encounters.
Well, 9 was epic, the visuals are stunning, especially with the size of Mega Rayquaza. I could feel the sense of force from the ensuing battle
10 was good, I will give it praise of subverting my expectations of the ending, particularly the girl's face, needless to say I did jump.
Personally I found that one of the strengths of the series thus far is the animation, the voicework fluctuates time to time. Nevertheless I'm still enjoying it
The generation I'm most looking forward too is Gen V.
The thing I hate on those episodes is that they are not teaser for a full lenght episode...
That Deoxys battle was a lot more epic than in game, and was a lot easier to catch in that video.
Edit: wow, episode 10 was brilliant. It was just what was needed before Halloween.
I took one look at that mansion and thought; Resident Evil lol
Spooky scary pokeghosts send shivers down your spi-WAIT, SERIOUSLY, who was that ghost girl supposed to be?
@Roam85 Actually, it looks like they are doing away with HM moves altogether in Sun and Moon. We may never need to use "HM mules" again from this point forward.
Long time no see, Linoone
