The problem is that "adult themes" in video games are actually more teenager-oriented, while traditional Dragon Quests have universal themes that do appeal to adults. Let's see how they tackle this

I remember when LG actually released a phone with similar 3D display technology as used in the 3DS. So this feature could theoretically be emulated on an Android device... It deeply frustrates me that this technology hasn't been widely adopted. We managed to figure out how to do PERFECT glassless 3D displays and no one cares!

Psyvariar? I think I remember playing this one on the Dreamcast.

Bought it in '93 during my first visit to the US (I'm from Brazil). Great game, brilliant music and atmosphere. The original is the only one in the series I actually enjoyed.

Why would you want to replace Area 88 music with the arcade version? The SNES one is so much better!

The biggest mistery is that Nintendo has halted its activities in Brazil since the Wii U failure. Could that mean they're coming back? Or that this is going to be a mobile game?

"The work is incredibly exciting and the team is awesome" - this is enough for me. Can't wait to see the next game Retro puts out, whichever it is.

Chromatic Aberration adds some color hues to the edges of the objects to emulate what happens in real life camera lenses. Just like motion blur and depth of field, this makes the game look more "cinematic". It looks pretty nice depending on the game.

On the contrary, becoming home for new shoot'em ups is a perfect sign that a console is dead, isn't it?

Here's one thing I noticed: they've changed the wording for the name of the dungeon: "Shrine Oman Au" on E3 build, "Oman Au Shrine" on Switch version. If anything, this shows that the game was still being updated since E3. Here's the link with the comparison:

I really really hope this makes all my games tied to my account, and not my consoles. My 3DS is pretty old and if it stops working, I'll lose all my games.

It still looks REALLY good... if you're playing on a CRT. The pre-rendered graphics suffer a lot when shown on a high resolution LCD.

This is the only Mario vs. DK that ever interested me. I suck at all of them, though.

I remember how amazing it was to have a full Street Fighter 2 experience on a handheld when this came out. This and Street Fighter Alpha 3 were highly praised at the time.

"This is not Starfox at its best". I'm really wondering which games achieve that, other than the SNES and N64 entries (I personally only like the SNES one). Every release after those didn't get good reviews or didn't feel like Starfox. Maybe the series really has nowhere to go.

By the way, Starfox Zero looks much better than the Gamecube one. This comparison looks like a little overreaction.
