The experience will be awfull with PC and Xbox players just Deleting Switch players on 30FPS machines without the massive advantage of mouse and keyboard...leave the playing field level, Switch vs Switch players only please. We will have enough issues with synergy and janky comms.

Super Smash Bros 7th December 2018 release has been delayed. The dev team along with 30 of Nintendo's lawyers and various other pressure groups are painstakingly going through every character, every stage, every costume and piece of music to make sure that nobody anywhere is or is likely to be in the future offended in any possible way. I've never played a Smash game owing to the fact the Switch is my first Nintendo console since the SNES. Have all the previous Smash titles had this level of reveal? Are there ever any surprises ?

I'm also hard wired and always have been. I don't suffer many disconnects myself its others making it 3v4 and playing shorthanded in Splatoon makes it pointless. If it were the odd game in ten it wouldn't be so bad but sometimes it's every other game. Spoils an otherwise excellent game.

Issues with 4v3 most games. Long-ish lobby waiting time. If im honest these problems have always been there NOS has not made it worse, its still a poor online service but now I'm paying for it.

I did like the 2 day format, it should be implemented for all splatfests.

I can't even message someone who has been on my friend list since day 1. It's the most basic system & O/S. All features that are common on all other consoles are missing. Can't see how it's a god awfull game.

It's outrageous having cloudsave behind a paywall. No wonder N didn't include the ability to save to card or flash drive. Give people the option don't force payment to save your progress. Ransomeware !!!

$20 is cheap for most people and its cheap for a reason, all your really getting for your $20 is online play and unlocking your ability to recover your save game files on the console you paid for for the game you paid for. You also get a shockingly bad app so you can chat ( but not message that im aware of ) on a separate usually expensive device.

Free Nes games....they are Nes games. 20-30 years old and I can play them on basically anything with a screen for free. And most of you have bought these many times before. The free games are a sideshow.

I remember Reggie saying the online service was being held back and refined so that it would be 'World Class'......his and my idea of world class seem to differ....alot

@JayJ . It was and is just my opinion that all the factors I mentioned were essential....for me. By picking out manual clutch as non essential your agreeing that manual gear and analog triggers are, to be fair manual clutch isn't essential but I would prefer it ( my opinion )

I don't give a Tinkers cuss about modern day performance cars in real life with various modes and controls, the discussion was about how a video game runs its physics and analog triggers for throttle control. I can only imagine your ' possibly greatest portable racing game ever made' without throttle control would feel like MK8 by today's or any SIM/Simcade standards.

Oh and I dont impose anything onto anyone, Just my opinion dont put words into my mouth thats downright disingenuous and a bit crappy of you to say that to be honest. But sure keep the insults coming.

@JayJ Couldn't disagree more. The discussion was drifting and that is dependant on throttle control, traction control is not your friend here. But in general racing Sims with manual gear changes, manual clutch control analog triggers are essential if you want to take the game even remotely seriously or compete with others. Without them it might as well be a game on your phone to me.

The lack of analog triggers puts me off any Sim, simcade or 'realistic' racing game on the Switch.

Looks a bit meh...love 80s shmups but compared to Gradius/Nemesis, Slap Fight, 194x, R Type, Side Arms etc most of the New old style stuff looks poor to me.

Downloaded a demo called Hyper Sentinel which is very...very similar to Uridium from 1986 on the CBM64.

@electrolite77 Agree with you there, FO4 does not run that well on xbox1, i was not impressed and i didnt think the game itself was all that great. FO3 or New Vegas more viable and maybe they can improve on them from the last gen. GTA5 ? Yeah great for anyone who has never played it but I'm getting fed up with years old ports I played a long time ago. Becoming a retro shovelware mobile port machine. Not what I expected when I bought it.

@OdnetninAges Fallout Shelter is not a Fallout game. It's a room building, resource management mobile game with optional lootboxes. As mobile games go its ok.

Hopefully it's realistic with tuning that actually does stuff and a competitive online/leader board. Scratch that Forza itch....#PortForza4. That will NEVER happen.

I remember an old arcade Shmup called Slap Fight. You started the game never firing a shot just dodging enemies and if you got to certain distance/time and died your next life/ship would appear fully tricked out with all the very best upgrades and this made you very hard to kill as you more or less destroyed everything as it appeared on screen.

Damn you EA. This port of Fifa16 that I have slated since it came out. Now it's 66% off....damn you EA you may be dragging me back in. Still no matchmaking option for friend's?....ugh I might buy it, the price is now right.
