I’ve been reading/lurking around here a loooooong time. Thomas always had fascinating thinkpieces and opinions, and his live stream comments were hilarious. Thanks for all the amazing work!
As seen from the massive amount of well wishes, the community will miss all of it. You’re a gentleman and a scholar, sir. Good luck in the future!
I was going to try and simultaneously play Mario Odyssey and the new Wolfenstein this weekend, but honestly I'll probably just end up playing Mario the whole time and losing sleep every night.
Heavy internal debate going on in my head over Color Splash. It looks beautiful and fun and clever, but that card battle system hasn't reviewed well and I typically don't like those...
I talked to the Two Tribes devs two weeks ago at PAX and they said they were giving it "one last shot" to work on Wii U. If they could do it, then it would be out around the end of the year. If not, then goodbye.
Definitely Wave Race and Mario Sports Mix! And possibly Tadpole Treble...depending on reviews. I like the idea and the Steam response seems mostly positive.
I've been waffling on whether or not to snag Affordable Space Adventures, so this is perfect timing. And for a good cause.
Usually they add at least two extra games after the first week, so hopefully it'll be something exciting. Either way, this is a pretty fantastic bundle.
I'll post my Shantae codes later for those that might want them
Busy with FE Fates, so I'll probably just pick up the DLC for that and possibly one of the Pokemon games. Not sure when I would get around to actually playing, but it would be nice to have.
I'm in Seattle so that Bellevue, WA one is a pretty easy trip.
I'm considering going just to try it out and then get completely destroyed. I imagine it'll be fun to watch the one or two people that become really good at it.
Fire Emblem! That'll be taking up 100% of my gaming time for the near future. Or at least until TP HD releases.
I was planning on just buying each of the DLC maps as they came out, but that $17.99 price point is a pretty solid deal. A lot of the DLC seems geared towards fans/players of the older entries, which is exciting.
I'm curious to see whether I can beat one or both sides of the story before Revelation comes out. Most likely not, ha.

Re: It's Time to Claim Your Nintendo Account User ID for Nintendo Switch
Thanks NLife, for the heads up. So glad to be able to get my name and not have to add 7s to it like other networks.
Officially ready for the Switch!
Re: Nintendo Download: 16th February (North America)
Ogre Battle! Was waiting for that. Definitely going to spend the weekend playing it
Re: Nintendo Download: 26th January (North America)
Spent way too much money on Kingdom Hearts 2.8, Yakuza 0 and Tales of Berseria...so I'm okay with a light week.
Hopefully we still see some Virtual Console releases throughout February though
Re: Nintendo Download: 19th January (North America)
Grabbing DQ8 physical, Star Fox 64 VC and the Woolly World demo. Really solid week, especially for January

SHADOW DRAGON. Finally. I've been looking for a TRPG to dig into after finishing FFXV and this will work perfectly.

Dual Strike! An Advance Wars game sounds like the perfect way to take breaks from FFXV...

The SNES and GameCube designs are amazing. I want them.
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th October (North America)
Just Steamworld Heist for me.
I was waiting for Spirit Tracks on VC but everyone recommends the original DS version heavily over the crappy Wii U orientation.
Hopefully physical copy prices go down now that it's released digitally....
Re: 'First Glimpse' of the Nintendo NX Confirmed for 20th October
Here we go. Totally worth waking up at 7AM!!
Re: Nintendo Download: 6th October (North America)
Heavy internal debate going on in my head over Color Splash. It looks beautiful and fun and clever, but that card battle system hasn't reviewed well and I typically don't like those...
But still....ugh

I talked to the Two Tribes devs two weeks ago at PAX and they said they were giving it "one last shot" to work on Wii U. If they could do it, then it would be out around the end of the year. If not, then goodbye.
I hope they can figure it out...
Re: Renegade Kid Closes as Co-Founders Launch Separate Studios
I'm one of those people who still get excited at the prospect of Treasurenauts, ha. Glad to hear it remains alive.
Maybe Jools can now focus all his energy and attention into finishing it!
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th August (North America)
Kusakari got a great review and is only 5 bucks, I'm in. Plus the Ace Attorney demo, of course.
PAX next week!!
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th August (North America)
Dang. There's no Pokemon Snap. I wanted to relive some memories. Nothing for me this week.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th August (North America)
Definitely Wave Race and Mario Sports Mix! And possibly Tadpole Treble...depending on reviews. I like the idea and the Steam response seems mostly positive.
Pretty solid week.
Re: Nintendo of America Expands Nintendo Selects Range and Unveils Small New 3DS Bundle
Lego City Undercover! One of the few great Wii U games I never got a chance to play. Can't wait.
Re: Metroid is 30 Years Old Today
Happy Bday, Metroid. Can't wait to see you on NX
Re: Nintendo Download: 4th August (North America)
Rough week, no doubt about it. I guess that means we can all save money for upcoming Fall games. I'm ready for DQ7...
Re: Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition Coming This November, Ships With 30 Games
I'm excited and definitely going to be getting one, if only for collection's sake.
Like others here have said....PLEASE do an SNES Mini Classic next. PLEASE.
Re: Nintendo Download: 7th July (North America)
Obviously a super light week...but getting a little Goemon isn't bad. I'll be picking that up.
Still kinda hoping that Spirit Tracks comes out this summer. Have to imagine it will...
Re: Digger Dan DX Dispute Settled, Will Be Back On Sale "As Soon As Possible"
@ImDiggerDan
Such great news. Was rooting for you. Definitely picking the game up when it gets back on the eShop!
Re: Review: Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (Wii U)
I've been waiting for this for what seems like forever. So happy it turned out well.
Most likely the last big RPG hurrah on the Wii U. Glad it's a fairly lengthy game, perfect for a summer playthrough.
Re: Nintendo Download: 16th June (North America)
What an amazing week for the eShop, with the big sale, solid DL Update, and multiple demos. Thank you, E3.
I grabbed RH Megamix last night and am grabbing Drill Dozer and Super Paper Mario today!

Re: Atlus is Now 30 Years Old
Thank you for Persona. Atlus, you're the best. Happy Bday!
Re: Nintendo Download: 7th April (North America)
Nothing for me. I've got the physical edition preordered through Amazon though ($47.99).
Back to finishing Twilight Princess HD.
Re: Genei Ibun Roku #FE Is Now Called Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE In The West, Arrives In June
I'm just happy we're actually getting this. Didn't it sell poorly in Japan? Seems like something that would normally never come over here.
I'll definitely be buying it and hoping for some sort of physical special edition.
Re: Nintendo Download: 3rd March (North America)
Nothing digital for me, but like a lot of folks, I'm snagging Twilight Princess HD physical tomorrow.
Playing through that, finishing Birthright then moving on to Conquest and Pokemon Yellow should keep me busy for the rest of March. Whew.
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th February (North America)
Busy with FE Fates, so I'll probably just pick up the DLC for that and possibly one of the Pokemon games. Not sure when I would get around to actually playing, but it would be nice to have.
Twilight Princess HD next week!
