@vasteel1ne I'm not saying it doesn't happen because the cases where it has are well documented, but I've ordered close 10 games from them. With the exception of one, they've all come within the 5-6 month timeframe they quoted & the one that didn't was less than a week late. People like to fixate on the negative, but that's clearly not a majority of the experiences.
@Charlirnie Key cards did not replace the code in a box. They exist on the Switch 2 as well. Split Fiction is one, for example. I definitely think they should have though. Having both on the system makes little sense.
@WaveBoy I only meant physically. There is an upgrade pack for Switch 2 that you can use if you buy it digitally or physically. There's just no complete physical Switch 2 version. Sorry if my original comment was unclear.
@OrtadragoonX I'm aware there are things they can do to reduce the file size, but not everyone plays handheld, so your suggestion isn't a good one because those of who don't play handheld obviously wouldn't be happy about it. My point was simply that it's probably unrealistic to expect them to cut the file size by about a third & still have the game be as quality as it is.
@Truegamer79 It's 86GB on PS4 & 81GB on PS5. Sure, they could compress it, but I don't think it would be realistic to expect them to get it down to less than 60GB, which would be required to fit on a 64GB cart & not have the game suffer in multiple ways.
@GoldenSunRM I think by saying it's "almost surely" coming to NSO, you're overestimating N here. There are many GB, GBA, NES, SNES, & N64 titles that had a much bigger footprint than ED that still aren't on NSO. I'm not saying it won't come, but it's far from a guarantee.
@PikminMarioKirby May or may not change your perspective, but most standard USB cameras work just fine with the Switch 2. I'm sure most people have one in the house somewhere & if not, you can get good ones on Amazon for around half the price of the official one.
I love It Takes Two, so I'm super interested in this game, but I have one major issue. I only buy physical, but now that I know you can play games directly off the microSD Express & therefore no longer have to worry about constantly moving things around, I've warmed to the idea of the key cards. The problem is that this is a code in a box. Why?! Nintendo went through all of the trouble of thinking of a solution to getting games on the system that are too big to fit on a cart only to still allow code in the box games. Key cards should have replaced them. I'm going to have to pass for that reason alone & that's super annoying.
@Sebos Agreed. CD Projekt Red managed to slim Cyberpunk down significantly for this release. There's no reason Hazelight couldn't have done the same except I imagine EA didn't care to give them the necessary time to make that happen.
@OorWullie That would be excellent, but knowing Nintendo, it's unlikely. I'm just hoping that we can play games directly off the SD Express. That would make me happy enough.
@tatanga @Moistnado Same. I've purchased almost 10 games from them & never had an issue. With the exception of 1 (which came about a week or so after the expected timeframe), every game has arrived within the timeframe they said & in the proper condition. I also love that their releases come with a booklet, something sorely missing in this gaming age.
Very disappointed to hear the console specific modes are missing, but I had Power Stone, Power Stone 2, & Project Justice on the Dreamcast, so this is a must-buy for me based on those games alone. I'm sure I'll eventually check out some of the other titles as well. I pre-ordered it in December, so I'm glad the wait is almost over.

Re: UK Charts: Mario Galaxy Starts Strong, But It Can't Topple Sony's Latest
@Bats1234 I bought the Switch 2 Editions of both Zeldas even though I already own the originals because I wanted them on the cart.
Re: UK Charts: Mario Galaxy Starts Strong, But It Can't Topple Sony's Latest
@Pillowpants I doubt scalpers have anything to do with it. The game isn't a limited time thing & it's not particularly hard to find either.
Re: ICYMI: If You Want To Play Virtual Boy Classics, You'll Need To Buy One Of Nintendo's Accessories
@SilentHunter382 There were 22 games released for the VB, but only 14 came to North America.
Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment Box Art Officially Revealed For Switch 2
I am not at all interested in any of these Dynasty Warriors style games, but this box art is awesome.
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 Bundle Confirmed For Switch, Launching October
@Cyrax77 It appears to only be physical for Switch 1, but you can still upgrade it to the Switch 2 version.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 Prices Are Live, And It's Sticker Shock Time
@SillyG It's because it's a Switch 1 game. There's no native Switch 2 version.

Re: Random: Of Course Helldivers Are Now Calling For A Switch 2 Port
@Indielink You might & that's fine, but let's not act like this is the type of game that would do big numbers on the Switch.
Re: Random: Of Course Helldivers Are Now Calling For A Switch 2 Port
@Ichiban Agreed. This game will do well on X-Box. Switch 2, not so much.
Re: UK Charts: Hideo Kojima's Latest Project Leaves Mario Kart World Stranded In 2nd
@arabiansanchez Did you miss it at #5 on the chart?

Re: "A Must-Have Launch Title" - Digital Foundry Delivers Its Fast Fusion Verdict
@KITG_GROUP It took over 5.5 years for Fast Fusion to get a physical, but I waited & it paid off. I'll probably do the same for this one.
Re: Review: Genki's 'Mimic Chest' Stores All Your Switch 2 Games In Plain Sight, But We're Struggling To Understand Why
@mereel Agreed. Any option that doesn't show the whole cart is a non-starter for me.
Re: Review: Yakuza 0: Director's Cut (Switch 2) - A Series Highlight That's Never Looked Or Played Better
@Truegamer79 It's a negative for you & it is for me as well, but in today's digital landscape, it simply isn't for most people.
Re: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom And Link's Awakening Are Improved On Switch 2, But It's Not Perfect
I noticed the stutters in both games, but I'm not a stickler for framerates, so they didn't bother me at all. Very minor.
Re: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom And Link's Awakening Are Improved On Switch 2, But It's Not Perfect
@KayFiOS Why be worried? There's literally a list of what games won't work on Nintendo's website. Hint: the only first party game on the list is Labo.

Re: Nintendo Appears To Have Updated Mario Kart World's Switch 2 File Size
@CriticalHit Instead of hoping, just look it up. All of the incompatible games & ones with issues are listed on Nintendo's website.
Re: Feature: Limited Run Talks Switch 2 Game-Key Cards, Huge Carts & Difficult Pitches
@FormerGameAddict That would be great, but not every game will fit on the 64GB cart, so that's very unlikely to happen.

@tatanga @Moistnado Same. I've purchased almost 10 games from them & never had an issue. Re: Feature: Limited Run Talks Switch 2 Game-Key Cards, Huge Carts & Difficult Pitches
@HugoGED Same & I don't mind waiting a bit longer & paying a bit extra either. My backlog is long. I have plenty of patience.

Re: 'EA Sports Madden NFL 26' Switch 2 File Size Seemingly Revealed
@AnonyQ I would. If that's what it took to get every game physically on the cart, so be it.
Re: Switch 2 "Code-In-A-Box" Physical Game Listing Spotted Online
@Shiiva It's not a mistake. The game is 73GB. It won't fit on the biggest cart.
