@kmtrain83 @RiasGremory I get what you're both saying & I understand that was the reason, but if they're primary concern was selling the most consoles, we all know they easily could have eaten the cost to ship more units.

@kmtrain83 I doubt it. If Nintendo cared about having the best-selling console of all-time, they wouldn't have raised the price of all 3 versions of the Switch last year. It's obviously not a concern for them.

@SuperEndriu You expect the game to just magically show up in January's numbers even though it came out in February? Maybe use a little sense before you comment next time.

Virtual console's not coming back, but you better believe that once these games murder the charts, there will eventually be more. And I'm not saying this as a bad thing. It's just what it is. People get so upset about this kind of stuff. Gaming is a business. It's a hobby. It's not your right or privilege. You don't need it to live. They'll charge what they want for it & that's fine. If I'm interested enough, I'll buy & if I'm not, I won't. Pretty simple.

I find this really disappointing as an anniversary collection for the series. Instead of multiple variations of the same game, it would have been nice to have an HD Definitive version of Rayman & then remasters of Rayman 2 & 3. I just don't understand why Ubisoft seems so averse to 3D Rayman.

I want this game! I hope there is a physical version eventually.

This is super exciting. I had a Dreamcast & then a GameCube back in the day, so I only ever got to play the first Soul Reaver since the second was canceled after the Dreamcast was discontinued. It's still one of my favorite games to this day, so I was ecstatic when the Remaster of both 1 & 2 came out. Now I'll be able to complete the trilogy.

@SBandy1 @Sindayl The budget for something doesn't determine how much it will cost. How much people are willing to pay for it does. You might not like it, but that's simply Business 101. We all know this game will sell millions at its price, so Nintendo has no reason to sell it cheaper.

@Anti-Matter Not quite. The specific verbiage they used was that Nintendo developed games would not use a key card. This game is developed Omega Force under Koei Tecmo. The devil is in the details.

@SpaceboyScreams I don't think it sounds dumb. I was originally going to do the same thing, but I caved when I saw how great the Remake port turned out. Your reasoning is still valid when you also consider that there was no last gen version of Rebirth.

@JohnnyMind @Kiz3000 It didn't sound right to me at first either, but from what I understand there's no physical version on X-Box, so it wouldn't chart. Also, while I'm sure the PS5 version of Remake had some sales, it's very possible that it was less than .5% of the total (the game is 4.5 years old after all), meaning they would just round it down to zero. When you consider those things, it's very plausible.

@Max_the_German Poor critical reception? You're exaggerating, sir. The game has a 79 on Metacritic. That's far from poor. Perhaps, poorer than what was expected, but definitely not poor. Makes me wonder what you would call a game with a 37.

@BBBBBBBBBBB It's not a space thing. The Switch Lite has a D-pad in a much smaller form factor. Nintendo stated years ago that it's to keep the joy-cons uniform for all players when being used separately.

@Varoennauraa I wouldn't call it nitpicky at all. Just because you're comfortable with the D-pad buttons doesn't mean everyone else is. These comments alone show how divisive they are.

@darkswabber The leak is that Nintendo is making 2 smaller sizes. The consensus is that they will be 16 & 32GB, but that's obliviously not conformed yet. There is no rumor about a 128GB cart though & considering the price of 64GB carts, it's unlikely to happen. It'd be cool if it did happen, but I think it's just wishful thinking.

Capcom is really going all in on the Switch 2. Love to see it. I definitely did not expect Pragmata to come, but I'll be keeping an eye on it now. I also expect & can't wait to hear about the REmakes 2-4 coming as well.

@Jack_Goetz I'm assuming you have a source for that because I find it incredibly hard to believe that MKW was done 2 years before launch.

@fenlix That's the internal resolution. The output resolution is much higher.

@Elitepatriot It is okay with me. I judge games mostly by the quality of the experience. The length is secondary. Besides, like I already said, this is perfectly in line with the first 3 games, so there's no reason to expect that this one would be significantly different. Not every game I pick up needs to capture my attention for months. Lastly, I 100% most games I play, so I'm sure it will take me longer than 13 hours.

@Elitepatriot That's a crazy expectation considering this is in the same ballpark as the first 3 games.

Mine came 2 days early. It's never happened to me before on a preorder.

@1Kismet I see no reason that would be the case. Even if it looks & runs exactly like Metroid Prime Remastered, it would be amongst the best looking & performing Switch games.
