Funny because I think the Switch is the most childish looking console out of all Nintendo consoles with the bright neon colors, small joycons that are hard to use for adults and online restrictions and every single game from Nintendo is super cartoony looking unlike the Wii which was white and black with special editions and the darker and realistic games like twilight princess, eternal darkness and more, but now it's been saved by third party

Fates then Awakening and Shadow Dragon are my favorites

Why people worry about this now even if this supported cloud saves they eventually are gonna disappear and you will lose all your progress on everything, so why people didn't ask for SD backups in the first place and just let Nintendo hold hostage of your own saves

@thatawesomedude Nintendo lies all the time like when they deny the production of another Switch system which turn out to be the Lite version and Hey Pikmin was the fourth game they were referring, it's not like they explicitly say on a Nintendo direct Pikmin 4 is coming but maybe now they are really working on a Pikmin 4 so don't worry eventually it's gonna happen and don't forget that Miyamoto with all respect it's getting old and he probably confused people without thinking of his words or maybe it was mistranslation

Why can't people accept that Hey! Pikmin was the Pikmin game they were referring to, but people thought it was a sequel and got excited for no reason it's not like they announced Pikmin 4, besides Hey! Pikmin was pretty good IMO

@Octane On the contrary they will buy more because it's a variant of the same box but not equal and crazy fanboys collect everything Nintendo makes just for a minor detail, they even buy duplicate copies of the same game from different regions and one to keep it seal just look collectors in YouTube if you don't believe me

Sad that no third party made it to the list especially any Monster Hunter game or at least Zelda Link Between Worlds and really surprised about tomadachi life making to the list surpassing even Zelda

@Anti-Matter Look it sold well because it's Pokémon, kids ask parents for it and ignorance of the content of the game but for people that wonder why some dislike this game let me explain why

1 GameFreak lied about their high quality animation
2 Cut content for the High quality graphics
3 Selling that content as DLC
4 Charging triple for storing and transferring
5 Removing features just add new gimmicks and some behind a paywall
And there's more but this are the most important ones that I remember and my personal is the starters and legendary Pokémon are ugly and the worst from any generation
Now the real question is why people blindly defend a company that only cares about your money? And likes to arguing facts, it's like saying that they love sh*t and they are in their right to love it and don't understand why other don't

Never, Nintendo consoles for me are solely for exclusives and the portability factor does not apply to me since I only game in my home, and my PS4 works like a charm and turns on in a matter of seconds just like my TV I don't get the "I save seconds with the Switch without having to turn my TV unless you have an old TV and games on other Platforms are cheaper than on Switch so you save a lot of money

The thing that I don't understand is why they choose the most bland and boring Fire Emblem character instead of most recognizable characters from the franchise like Tiki or Anna which they appeared on other games or a non Sword fighter like if the Axe, Lance, bow don't exist

"No more $40 makeover sequels" sure sounds nice but in reality means no more full content/complete game and more seasons passes, DLC and soon micro transactions, their isn't more point for 2 games with the whole trading and balancing excuses, this is probably the downfall of one of my favorite franchises

Soon Pokémon are gonna become DLC too if they aren't already just wait for it, this games has less content than Sun and Moon which were 40 and had everything yet this ones that cost 60 and now are charging 30 more without mentioning the Pokémon Home I wonder what the hardcore fans are gonna say to defend this nonsense

Dishonorable mention goes to Pokemon Sword & Shield a game with a lot of technical problems from frame rate to pop ins and cut content truly a disappointment

We don't need this poll with all the bias with Switch obviously everyone it's gonna vote for BoTW and other Switch titles even forgetting games like Xenoblade, Monster Hunter Ultimate 4, Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates and more but I guess it's a way to see the rest of the top ten

Well deserved in this case some people might like mediocrity and that's ok, but for the real fans which is the most part of the community that has been playing Pokémon since the beginning expect better and this game costing more with less content than previous games that were on a less powerful console it's unacceptable

One thing is give constructive criticism and other just plain hate the game this is just ridiculous even if the game looks graphically outdated with cut content, (Pokémon and moves) more expensive for less (60 instead of 40) and tries to make you pay for Home in order to have all your Pokémon for future games just don't buy it simple as that, let others enjoy whatever they like even if it's a bad game

Love the design of Totodile and Popplio but Froakie surpassed both with his last evolution

Really like Treecko but Turtwig was my first grass starter so he get my vote because I love turtles

It would have been better to be able to change the name of a Pokémon that are already nicknamed especially when they are good but have stupid names oh well maybe next time

Charmander will always rule supreme but I also like Chimchar can't go wrong with either one

I can't believe that in 2019 Nintendo can't understand internet and cloud services and not even allowing local backups to an SD, USB or whatever but they want you to pay for it and on top of that forcing you to pay for Pokémon Home to secure your Pokémon

It's either Resident Evil 4 on Wii or Revelations on 3DS

Bigger doesn't mean better which this probably explains why it looks cheap and empty with pop in Pokémon from the ground

Newest Nintendo quality releasing special edition like this for hardcore collectors

It was exciting as watching paint dry now the real question is what kind of poor soul would do it

Surprised not to see Super Smash Bros. Melee at number one I know a lot of people that only bought a GameCube just for that game alone

It better be optional otherwise soft resetting for better Pokémon and breeding it's gonna become a pain and not a good addition at all

The answer is simple Nintendo knows how to milk their fanboys releasing an expensive but low quality controller that will last you as long as the warranty last forcing you to buy another one telling you that thanks to this new controllers you don't have to buy another console and you should be thankful for that

Playing it on my PS4, I'm glad it wasn't a disappointment like trash number 9 and looks ten times better than that train wreck as for the Switch owners remember it's better than nothing or just buy the PS4/PC version

I can't believe, it only took them 2 years for the fanboys to finally admit one of many flaws that the Switch has and just keep giving more money to Nintendo by buying more defective gimmicky controllers

Even the animations for the giant gimmick are the same just in slow motion I don't know if anyone who believes them are naive or just blind

It's probably exactly the same as the Lite but with the TV functionality and more powerful but it might take at least one more year to come out

@AlternateButtons To each his own but to me they are way too small no D-pad kills the controller and to make them work you need even more accessories to either attached them together or make them a little bigger and not to mention the drifting problem

I knew Nintendo sooner or later were gonna drop the joy cons gimmick even when they say otherwise but hopefully they don't drop the tv functionality

@johnvboy It's not about making the graphics realistic but more of how unpolished the game looks maybe you don't notice but if you look closely it has low textures lack of character animation etc just look a video o YouTube

@Alex0714 The big and buff (attack defense etc) Pokémon was already done in Pokémon Ultra sun/moon they were call totem the only new thing here is that they are giant nothing new that really adds something to the gameplay unlike mega evolutions and Z moves but time will tell if everyone agrees this is a nice addition or just a gimmick

@BacklogBlues Well Sony always do real deals and tomorrow the PS4 slim is gonna be cheaper than a Switch only 200 not to mention the games are cheaper all the time and with this deal that they do annually the games are dirt cheap like 20 for God of War which is one of the best games of the generation, so there's no excuse for you since you pick up the expensive console of the generation and saying that u cannot afford a PS4 must be a joke and the same can be say about anyone begging for a port of persona 5 just buy a PS4

@drewber2635 It's not just about graphics since my favorite game is Ultra Sun/Moon and they look the best they can for that console but also the uninspired designs on legendaries and the new gimmick Dynamax which are just giant Pokémon for 3 turns
