If they wanted the game to sell well they should’ve make enough special editions for scalpers (I hate scalpers) and regular customers, I mostly wanted the game for the Rathalos and since I didn’t manage to preorder one I just wait for a price drop on this one

Thanks to leakers I have saved money by not buying trash or half baked games like this one so I truly support leakers to expose companies that love to lie to their fan base like Game Freak did

Sonic Rush such an underrated game and the sonic Advance trilogy it’s pretty good too

@Spiders Actually Goku does make sense since it has some games in Nintendo history and it’s a historic character the rest a do agree that they are memes but most people expected waluigi, crash, Rayman or bomberman, yet we get characters that don’t have anything to do with Nintendo that don’t really fit with the franchise

Good character but not a character I would like in Smash for obvious reason it’s like they love to add characters no one ask instead of what people would love to see in the game just to annoy the fan base

This and Metroid Prime won’t come out until the end of this console at this point, yet for some reason a lot of comments here and YouTubers claimed that this was gonna be the year of Nintendo with a new 4K console Bayonetta 3, Zelda 2 and maybe Metroid Prime 4 lol, they are probably disappointed now

@MS7000 I think they might show more in a separate event considering that this is their 25 anniversary but I don’t understand why since this games are remakes and the only new things they can possibly add are mega evolutions and maybe variants from sinnoh and the games are close to release

@steizgr8 Well you said it yourself the franchise before MH3/U wasn’t really good honestly and it was really hard to get into that’s why it was niche because it had potential but plesioth hip check was too much for a normal player, so it doesn’t really matter if it was on a Sony or Nintendo consoles, the franchise really started with MH3 when they fix tons of things and from there every game in the series has improved

@Aneira I never ever hear someone complain about the gameplay in World in fact, everyone that I know praise it and even on reviews every comment was positive and like the QOL improvements and if that was true Rise wouldn’t basically have the same gameplay that World has, and while it’s true that the improvement of graphics was a big jump for the franchise in the reality it was more the fact that it moved from Nintendo so others players could play the franchise for the first time since not everyone plays on a Nintendo hardware

Not surprising the series has been growing with each new game even World sold amazing while everyone here thought it was a terrible idea because it moved away from a Nintendo console and the game was gonna fail, but what some fanboys don’t understand it’s that fans of MH don’t care about the console but instead they care about the game and it’s gameplay with new mechanics and monsters

Finally they are finishing the game, now the next update might have something actually new to hunt for old hunters

The real remake every fan of Gen 4 wanted but instead they hired a random team to make a chibi remastered

American copy here in brand new condition and my copy is dead, but luckily I was able to access to my Pokémon through Pokémon Bank and move them to my copy of Ultra Sun

Honestly this doesn’t feel like a free content update and more like a day one patch since the game lacks elder dragons to hunt and this are older monsters that are always in MH but hopefully they add more and new monsters to hunt and a siege quest like Kulve Taroth or something similar, and I’m glad I don’t have to hunt the apex in rampage quests because I hate those quest

And finally layered armor

I think it’s a good game but way too easy and way more streamlined for newcomers the reason is because in the older games you strategize a way to kill a monster use traps bombs, create new armor that would help you kill specific monsters, actually track the monster, use cold and hot drink because the environment etc, in this new game you can create whatever you like and just hit the monster until it dies and that’s it, the only new thing is the rampage quest another half baked idea of a tower defense game that doesn’t really fit into the MH gameplay

But I’m glad that the franchise it’s growing but hopefully the next MH game goes back to it’s roots and make it a little more challenging, and while I enjoyed Rise, World still the best in the series to me

Honestly I don’t understand why they even charge, the service doesn’t even feature basic online features like voice chat and I know some people doesn’t like it but not everyone thinks the same, for example I can’t properly communicate with my friends in MH Rise like I used to in MHWI

And I don’t understand why people say it’s cheap when in reality it’s not because you get nothing really worth it for 20/30 when you can pretty much buy a PS+ service for 30 on eBay and get a real service with all features and new games like control and Final Fantasy VII

I never understood the appeal of this game but if you like to take pictures and have more content than that just buy Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise, everything was going good until the Rampage quest not a fan of those missions, but the gameplay it’s really fun

Like the game but for some reason this game it’s hard to play in handheld mode the B button it’s to close to the right stick and I get more hand cramps than when I played MH games on the 3DS definitely feels more like a console game like MHWI is, and the fact that I play more on PS4 doesn’t help since the A Button is on the right side and B on the Left making me going back in the menu all the time but that’s more on me

There’re a lot of farming clones but all of those are trash compared to Rune Factory even Rune Factory 3 from the DS looks better than some of this new games and yes that includes Stardew Valley

Any MH veteran knows that this is the training game until they release the Ultimate/G version but high rank can be a challenge at first

Monster Hunter World Iceborne was amazing I expect nothing less from Rise

If the game doesn’t have Gyroids then it’s not a true Animal Crossing game, I still have 2 rooms in the museum in New Leaf dedicated to Gyroids and I still missing hundreds of those lovely things

Game Freak needs to hire this kind of people and make it a reality this looks just like I was expecting from the remake

@BloodNinja I see your point and I agree that some games do need a second chance in a better console specially games from Saturn like the elusive Panzer Dragoon Saga but I noticed that most of the requested games are from the PS3/360 era not that long ago and from the PS4/xbone if you really care about those games you might as well get a PS4/Xbone those consoles are a port heaven machine, and actually I think the Switch has a lot of potential and I love the idea but the system has to many flaws my system had the drift problem and also died now I’m getting another one just for MH Rise, as for my comment, don’t everyone has the right to post their opinion in the comment section simple as that

@BloodNinja True but I’m referring to the guys of Nintendo Life and some fans always making this weird articles wishing for every game in existence to be ported to switch and I understand they love the console but come on, and even on the direct some people ask for ports specially the Zelda ports

@Ghost_of_Hasashi Well with that kind of mentality no wonder why after 4 years we still have the same problem, you are basically saying get used to it, and yeah I understand that nothing is perfect but if feels like 1 out of 5 are defective compared to PS5 which is hard to tell since only scalpers have the console and they just got the message that they need to fix the issue so for now it’s only a matter of waiting for a fix if it’s really that bad and I haven’t heard any complaints for Xbox

Rune Factory has always been the better farming simulator out of all series like SoS, harvest moon and even Stardew Valley

@VoidofLight Definitely agree with you, I been saying the same since the game came out but Nintendo apologists will always find an excuse for the lack of content saying that it provides hundreds of hours of content which is false since this game has less activities to do making you feel bored faster than previous ones and also the lack of gyroids it’s a crime but wait for the update and see how everyone it’s gonna praise Nintendo when they add them, when in reality every update it’s only adding what the game lacks and not expanding the game with nothing new like they did with new leaf with new items and the camp site

Super hype for Rise and I already played Crash 4 on PS4 great game but really frustrating if you try 106 completion and some hidden stuff are really cheap outside of camera and you might really need to look it up on YouTube

Chibi art style looks too childish and cheap look at Link's Awakening the original looks better than the remake and in this case at least they look good when they battle but when you want a remake you expect upgrades from the original not just copy paste this looks more like a remastered but maybe it was for the better, and hopefully they add Mega evolutions at least

Hopefully they added mega evolutions I would love to see a mega torterra or infernape, and too bad about the chibi art style definitely not my cup of tea

@fadedcolors Agree with you, maybe some day they will understand that kids of this day only care about Fortnite, Minecraft and games like Among Us and I understand that trying to reach for a new generation it’s important but they should never forget their true fan base
