Re: Study Suggests Nintendo Switch Is The Most Eco-Friendly Console On The Market

GKO900

@Olmectron I don’t think gaming is or should be a luxury the only expensive console is Nintendo the rest of gaming its pretty affordable to anyone and honestly if I see a game that I care I will only buy it if it’s worth the value (Monster Hunter Rise) otherwise I will not get it at all or get it used and the developer will get nothing from me (Pokémon), that’s the industry they created and I think developers know that that’s why they price their games not low but not high enough to scare people they rather get something than nothing at all because they also know their games have no big name (Mario,Zelda or God of War) and not a ton of content or quality either

Re: Study Suggests Nintendo Switch Is The Most Eco-Friendly Console On The Market

GKO900

@BloodNinja Yeah I mean Nintendo games are great but I don’t think they are worth the asking price when you can get games like God of war for 20 or sometimes 15 and my point is that you could get 4 to 5 great games not trash anywhere else for the price of one single Nintendo game and with PSplus every month you get at least one decent game this month we got Control and the same goes for Xbox

Re: Study Suggests Nintendo Switch Is The Most Eco-Friendly Console On The Market

GKO900

@WoomyNNYes But the article says they also take into account more than that

“The study also looked at how much a console would cost the average user throughout its lifetime, adding up factors like the console's initial price, any online subscriptions, several games at the average retail price, and common accessories like a controller and headset.”

Re: Study Suggests Nintendo Switch Is The Most Eco-Friendly Console On The Market

GKO900

Maybe I’m reading this wrong but how can this be the most “ eco-friendly system of the current generation of consoles. ”

When you have to replace the joycons all the time and almost all the games are more expensive and even remake, remasters and complete editions are priced at full price like Zelda SS or even worse Pokémon SwSw at 90 not to mention that you are forced to pay online to save your saves in case of emergency and yet that doesn’t even work for the most important games and doesn’t even have basic features and you only get old games

Re: New Nintendo Infographic Shows Off The 30+ Games Announced During This Week's Direct

GKO900

Nothing that interest me or that I haven’t played somewhere else but when you have a Monster Hunter game you are set for a year and people don’t understand that Nintendo already use all of their heavy hitters titles and the Nintendo cycle it’s complete the next games are less impressive or sequels like the Zelda sequel or less well known titles like Metroid that will come 2026, so now you should lower your expectations for the incoming games

Re: Japanese Man Arrested For Selling Hacked Pokémon Sword And Shield Monsters

GKO900

@BulbasaurusRex I actually like breeding, IVs and EVs are what makes this a great RPG otherwise would be too simple I just wish it was less random and contrary to you I think IV were intended just not well implemented and in my opinion every single Pokémon has improved in breeding especially gen 7 (haven’t try in gen 8 since I got disappointed with that game) just not enough for more casual players

Re: Japanese Man Arrested For Selling Hacked Pokémon Sword And Shield Monsters

GKO900

This wouldn’t even be happening if breeding was more simpler and less time consuming honestly if you think wasting more than 5 to 10 hours for a perfect Pokémon is rewarding good for you but not everyone wants to waste their time like that, as for this guy who knows maybe he really needed the money or just like easy money and honestly who doesn’t like easy money especially when he wasn’t affecting anyone

Re: A 2019 Rumour About Gen IV Pokémon Remakes Might Be Coming True

GKO900

The only good thing from let’s go was that you could see the Pokémon if you didn’t want unnecessary battles other than that it was mobile trash, so if they do a remake, hopefully is like the one they did with gen 2 and bring back The Underground mini game with online and not mega galarian gimmicks I rather have mega evolutions back

Re: Feature: Best Kirby Games Of All Time

GKO900

I definitely agree with number one Robobot really surprised my expectation the first time that I played it, and this time the top ten is good but the rest have a weird order like Kirby battle Royal it’s definitely not one of the worse Kirby games

Re: Reminder: Pokémon Sword And Shield's Physical DLC Bundles Drop Next Week

GKO900

@Jeronan Glad you enjoyed the game, but the Pokémon do matter after you finish the game all that’s left is breeding and battling and that goes for sword and shield limiting your options for teams and just because some use the same team doesn’t mean everyone does the same, as for the RNG easy you don’t like to hunt for the Pokémon then trade online simple, I do agree that the only good new feature but not new in this game since it’s from Pokémon go pikachu is the ability to see the Pokémon roaming other than that this game offers nothing new the giant thing is just a gimmick, hell even the variant Pokémon version is a copy from sun/moon which is the other good thing.

And normally I don’t care what people do or think but in this case thanks to people supporting this anti consumer practices it affects the others since now you’ll end up paying double for less content

Re: Reminder: Pokémon Sword And Shield's Physical DLC Bundles Drop Next Week

GKO900

@Jeronan Lol... First, sun and moon are 3DS games which cost $40 (USA) don’t know is they were 60 where you live, but considering that they are cheaper but have a lot of content (full Pokédex) and while they look the same they do have a lot of differences Ultra having the most content and more polished gameplay but not the best story, compared to Sword and Shield which are barebones and lacking content (full Pokédex) because of the graphics which turn out to be lies, surely you can understand why this game is a disappointment to a lot of people even with the DLC which is making up for the lackluster content considering this is a $90 game, so in the end buying two 3DS games was better and cheaper either sun/moon and later ultra sun/moon for $80

Re: The Original Fire Emblem Is Coming To The West For The First Time Ever On Switch

GKO900

I’m guessing they get more money creating artificial demand with limited time and scarcity and for some reason judging by the comments people praising Nintendo that they are going the right path and soon they will port others, lol... I don’t know if you guys forgot the existence of the remake in the DS the second on 3DS so this is more like a cash grab, Nes rpg’s haven’t aged well at all they need a remake and the third one it’s the one they should be working on

Re: Looks Like Pokémon Sword And Shield's Physical DLC Bundle Will Cost $90

GKO900

@BabyYoshi12 Well usually any other game that releases with the full content a year later it’s basically the definitive edition (the finally complete game) of the game not matters if the DLC is new or not and sometimes even cheaper than the vanilla version but since this is Pokemon they know how crazy people are that are willing to pay 90, which to me it’s insane since it cost basically what a collector edition like MH Rise cost and that game probably like older titles offers hundreds of hours an Amiibo and other stuff

Re: Looks Like Pokémon Sword And Shield's Physical DLC Bundle Will Cost $90

GKO900

They really are testing how crazy Pokemon fans are willing to pay for a Pokémon game charging that insane amount, but if this was EA or other company everyone will be losing their minds and yeah I know that it has new DLC but this is more like what the vanilla game was missing to begin with not something that it’s adding real value to a complete game since the game was lacking content since the beginning, well best thing to do is buy a used copy for a good price or get lucky for a new one at regular price, only insane people will pay this amount for a PS2 looking game that finally got completed after a year lol

Re: Yes, Monster Hunter Rise Is Running On Capcom's RE Engine

GKO900

As someone who plays MHWI obviously this is a downgrade but for a Switch game it’s perfectly fine now the real question is are we farming for Decos or charms like the old times and does it has all the quality of life improvements from World because going back to the old gameplay it’s gonna be hard
