Re: Feature: Our Predictions For Nintendo's E3 2021 Direct

Flashlink99

One thing is for sure, Switch Pro wonโ€™t be released this year and everyone who followed the leaks (fecal-quality tbh) will have eggs on their faces. Dumb idea for the moment, with the pandemic-driven chip shortage crisis going on and the huge momentum that the regular Switch still has.
Anyone who follows the whole PS5 and XSX s**tshow knows what I'm talking about

Re: SEGA Teases Brand New Sonic Game, Confirmed For Switch In 2022

Flashlink99

@Alemates Not even that, there were circulating rumors for a few months about the game under the "Project Sonic 2022" nickname, much like Sonic Forces ("Project Sonic 2017"), so there was almost nothing out of common during the stream as everything has been leaked before it.
The only surprise would be if Sonic Rangers will perform slightly above mediocre

I dislike Sonic Origins for the fact that Sonic 3 looks like a ripped Mega Drive rom while the others clearly resemble Whitehead's mobile remasters. At least that would mean we get MJ's tracks, but 3 would have looked great if remastered by Whitehead, like in his proof-of-concept for iOS from 2013 or so

Re: The Zelda & Loftwing Skyward Sword amiibo Will Cost More Than Regular Figures

Flashlink99

I love how many people whine about amiibo when they can :
a) Buy an amiibo card when they'll become available to enjoy the extras at a reasonable price
b) Actually play the game as it was intended and understand that those QoL features don't actually improve the game a whole lot (I did back in the day). The game is pretty straightforward and instant teleportation between Sky and Land feels like a Pay-2-Win feature rather than the amiibo-locked dungeon in Twilight Princess HD

Re: Japanese Charts: New Pokรฉmon Snap's Off To A Good Start, But Resident Evil Village Is A Major Threat

Flashlink99

@Octane Congrats! I will probably get one in 2023 or much later as scalpers get their filthy hands on the little stock that arrives in my country, instead of 500 euros it goes for around 1000...
@Serialsid the limited stock that prevents more people from getting it at a fair price is the main reason it should have been delayed. Just because it is the fastest-selling console out there, it doesnโ€™t make it any better for those who want to buy it. Itโ€™s actually discouraging if you ask me

Re: It Seems Game Builder Garage Will Only Be Available On The eShop In Europe

Flashlink99

To be fair, we have Dr Kawashimaโ€™s Brain Challenge on Switch, unlike the US where the game hasn't been released AT ALL, so itโ€™s kind of a touche.
Maybe Nintendo doesnโ€™t believe such a small game should receive an international physical release as it probably wouldnโ€™t sell many copies. This is about money clearly, however Activision is the real culprit here, with the Crash 4 fiasco, as that is a blockbuster title

Re: Soapbox: Life Is Strange Belongs On Switch. So Why Isn't It?

Flashlink99

People seem to forget that both LiS 1 and Before The Storm came out on iOS, both around the time Switch arrived on market. It's just Squeenix not caring enough about Nintendo and licking the boots of the glorified PCs from Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo gets almost every japanese game from Square-Enix, but those that come from western devs (Tomb Raider, Hitman, LiS, Deus Ex etc) are dodging the Switch like COVID or Plague.
