Re: NES-Style Action Title Insanity's Blade Is Cutting A Bloody Path To The Wii U eShop

@AcesHigh73 "You said it mister! I'm a huge fan of the indie gaming scene, and if Nintendo continue their current trend of supporting talented indie outfits with even half the commitment and passion that Sony appear demonstrate on a seemingly daily basis — particularly on Vita — I'll be one very, VERY happy Wii U owner indeed..."

I think half the battle comes from Nintendo, the other half is from the userbase. I'm constantly trying to push my favourite standout Indie titles on the MiiVerse but if nobody is buying them then Nintendo's efforts can only go so far.

That's a great wishlist you got there! What are some of your personal picks that are currently on the e-shop right now, though?

@unrandomsam "The only reasonable explanation I can think of is they don't want the VC competing with eshop indie games so they deliberately are holding it back."

Never thought about it like that but now it makes sense. They know a lot of people are going to buy a 20 year old game that they've played before over a new Indie game (many of which are some of the best games I've played in years).

@MAB "When your pages fill up another one becomes available each time"

That is very good to hear! I have only a few empty slots and plenty of cash on my account.

"I would rather download these cool indie games like Knytt Underground and Shovel Knight instead of the crappy NES & SNES games with their lame slowdown and terrible gameplay."

Lol. I know you hate them, but I'll take both the new and the old. I never got much into SNES so those games are all new to me. =]

@RedYoshi999 Nah, we got Runner2 in Aus a long while ago. I highly recommend you pick it up on sale if you don't have it. I own almost every Indie game on the e-shop and Runner2 is still my favourite. I liked it so much that I bought the costume pack just so I could give the developers more money!
