@AcesHigh73 "You said it mister! I'm a huge fan of the indie gaming scene, and if Nintendo continue their current trend of supporting talented indie outfits with even half the commitment and passion that Sony appear demonstrate on a seemingly daily basis — particularly on Vita — I'll be one very, VERY happy Wii U owner indeed..."
I think half the battle comes from Nintendo, the other half is from the userbase. I'm constantly trying to push my favourite standout Indie titles on the MiiVerse but if nobody is buying them then Nintendo's efforts can only go so far.
That's a great wishlist you got there! What are some of your personal picks that are currently on the e-shop right now, though?
Why do commenters think they're entitled to tell NintendoLife what they can and can't post? Just make your own website if you want to control the content.
@unrandomsam "The only reasonable explanation I can think of is they don't want the VC competing with eshop indie games so they deliberately are holding it back."
Never thought about it like that but now it makes sense. They know a lot of people are going to buy a 20 year old game that they've played before over a new Indie game (many of which are some of the best games I've played in years).
Great game with great use of the gamepad. It has performance issues but it runs well enough for me to still be able to recommend it. My only gripe is that it doesn't support screenshot posts.
I want Wii games to be available for digital download. I had an awesome Wii library that I got rid of to reduce the clutter in my place. I still want the games, I just want them all at my fingertips.
@MAB "When your pages fill up another one becomes available each time"
That is very good to hear! I have only a few empty slots and plenty of cash on my account.
"I would rather download these cool indie games like Knytt Underground and Shovel Knight instead of the crappy NES & SNES games with their lame slowdown and terrible gameplay."
Lol. I know you hate them, but I'll take both the new and the old. I never got much into SNES so those games are all new to me. =]
A great week for sales. If people are complaining about "another slow week" grab MonHun, Runner2, Mighty Switch Force and Toki Tori. All very good games.
@RedYoshi999 Nah, we got Runner2 in Aus a long while ago. I highly recommend you pick it up on sale if you don't have it. I own almost every Indie game on the e-shop and Runner2 is still my favourite. I liked it so much that I bought the costume pack just so I could give the developers more money!
Great review. I was getting this game anyway but this is the first time in a while that a critical analysis has actually made me more excited for a game!

Support Indie. Indie supports U.

Re: Video: What Could Super Mario Galaxy Look Like In HD?
I gave up on Skyward Sword and I never got to play Xenoblade so that gets my vote.

Re: KnapNok Games and Nifflas Collaborating on Wii U eShop Exclusive, "Affordable Space Adventure"
Playing Knytt right now... so far, so good! Spin the Bottle is a great game for drunken adults. Glad it finally came to Australia!
Re: Ballpoint Universe Coming To The North American Wii U eShop On March 18th
So many good games... so little time.
Re: Hush Is An RPG All About Courage, And It Could Be Coming To The Wii U eShop
Sounds like another awesome game for my system. As my backlog increases, my purchase of a PS4 gets pushed further and further into the future.

Re: PS4 Launch Sales Close to Wii U Equivalents, 3DS Remains Best of the Rest
Time and time again in these comments I see the same line : "You people said something on one article and the opposite on another".
Ever stop to think that it's actually different people making different comments?
Re: CastleStorm's First DLC Expansion, Outcast to Savior, Assaults the Wii U eShop This Week
Wii U owners have a choice:
1) Support awesome games like this; OR
2) Complain that there is nothing to play on the Wii U.
Re: Hacking Group Claims To Have Discovered Wii U Homebrew Exploit
@JoostinOnline Thanks for clarifying! Appreciate the response!
Re: Hacking Group Claims To Have Discovered Wii U Homebrew Exploit
Well... that's a shame. Pirates have accelerated the demise of systems in the past.

Gary Coleman? Gary Oldman was more like "How strange is my Dracula hair?"

Re: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Only Sells Just Over 35,000 Units in Japanese Launch
Same old story : people would rather complain that there are no games to play than actually buy games.

Wow! So awesome!
Re: Famicom Remix 1 + 2 Coming to Retail in Japan
@datamonkey Those VC games work on your Wii U. Unlike the digital PS3 games I own, which apparently won't work on a PS4.
Re: Famicom Remix 1 + 2 Coming to Retail in Japan
What's a "disc" and how much room does it take up on my harddrive?
Re: SQUIDS Odyssey Trailer and Screenshots Show Potential for This Spring Release
Ooh! Looks like another Worms style game! It will sit well next to Castlestorm!

Another awesome looking Wii U game! I just need Nintendo to give me folders as my channels are almost full. :/

Woohoo! More Indie games!
Re: AE Games Reveals Mad Men Football, High Impact Gridiron With "An Historical Twist"
@TheRealThanos I immediately thought of the Amiga-era sportsgames, too! That's why the premise sounds so promising.

Sounds incredible.

Unreleased in Australia.
Re: Exclusive: Wales Interactive Highlights "Very Positive" Relationship With Nintendo, Plans More Wii U Releases
I really hope people are doing their part and supporting these Indie games. Go without MacDonalds for a couple of weeks, people!
Re: Talking Point: The Wii U's 'Relevance' Is About Sales, Nintendo's Strategy Has Remained Consistent
@Jayvir I think so, too. Kids don't find it cool to own a Nintendo console.
Re: Rhythm Fighting Game KickBeat Gets Rated For Wii U
People who only own a Nintendo console really need to support Zen in the way that they've supported the Wii U.
Re: Rhythm Fighting Game KickBeat Gets Rated For Wii U
Castlestorm is fantastic; Zen Pinball is great. I have a lot of faith in Zen!
Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd January (Europe)
