@SLIGEACH_EIRE think you should maybe buy one before you tell other owners what type of device it is. I have one so at least I can actually share my opinion not judge from the outside. That's why when something is reviewed ppl use said hardware/software not look at an information sheet....

@RoomB31 I love my local EB Games the guys there are really helpful and great ppl to chat too when it's not busy. Also they price match so just shop around and show them you'll get the best price! They handle all my preorders with no problems at all. Much prefer that to ordering online.
Just my personal opinion but all this reliance on digital and online is nowhere near the same satisfied experience you get from speaking face to face with someone. When my joycon played up I took it in and swapped it over in minutes not sat waiting for my entire Switch to go through post to Nintendo and back again.

I saw this in EB Games the other day and assumed it was regular monopoly. We have the special edition here with Bowser. I'm very tempted to buy it now, thanks for the review!

Sweet I've bought a massive game guide which was hard to get through the door btw! All in preparation for this game. Never played it thought it was too big but to have it portable is gonna be a big help. I cannot wait!!!!!

Uh could have been cooler. The cake and water looks rubbish and quite similar in appearance. I get it's just promo fluff but still they want us to play it right? Not for me when it looks that bland. All the time and effort seems to have been spent on chubby half dressed pixel art..... real cool 😒

RE4 on Wii was by far the most immersive one of the lot and I played it loads because of the controller scheme. I can't wait for this now!

@BinaryFragger lol I don't know about ppl in the past hating on those things. But I hate achievements that box popping up in the corner to let me know I just completed level one.... I know that I just spent the last few minutes watching an fmv letting me know I just completed said level!
I've always preferrred the in game menus to understand how much a game has been completed.
As for showing off to friends what I have finished etc, yawn I'm still waiting for that info to load, now I'm not interested anymore.... literally don't understand this achievements/trophies obsession.

@maruse damn man.... I didn't actually think about that at all. I primarily buy cartridges/discs as I want to be able to pick it up at any point in the future and play it. If that's true then it makes me worry bought the longevity of my Switch in terms of playing it like I do on my N64 every now and then.....

The camera has some quirks as most if not all games of that gen had but doesn't take away the fact that SMS is one of the best 3d platformers around.

I don't play my 3ds in 3d much but from what I've heard it's totally worth it on this game.

I saw a video on YouTube by game theorists about it made some interesting points. I know they are just for fun but the idea of augmented reality and the Switch would be a winner in my book!

@Nolan420 yeah I know that because I've bothered to read an article or two and understand what is big in the US despite not living there. I reckon a good few of you are missing the point of the article. It's not saying a golden era of gaming for Nintendo.... that's just a piece of the whole pie. I've been gaming for a good long while and I think it's certainly a good time to be a gamer. Maybe not a golden age but there is defo a lot of choice and quiet affordable too. It was once a matter of selling older games to upgrade whereas now I can keep a lot of my older hardware and software.

I'd rather an old game of Metroid or a Castlevania rather than another modern 8 bit inspired by game... plus this trailer has very little to go off. Not sure about this one.
Any big games coming yet? I'm waiting somewhat patiently but finding it harder and harder now!

As for whether or not Capcom's glory years are over, their true glory years we're back in the Ninties, they are a strong developer who I hope will be around for a long time. Why in the world would you do that to an AGS-101 when it can play your Gamboy Color games anyway..... seems utterly stupid. Do you know how long and hard it was for me to track down an AGS-101 and manage to get it at the none crazy price they command. What a ridiculous idea. Back to drawing board come back to me with a better one.... sorry to be so blunt.

That's exactly what I'm scared of. I have a 3ds as I want real gaming experiences on the go not these cheap mobile games that imo just are not good enough games. Not when you are used to console gaming. I'm not saying the visuals weren't up to scratch just boring character models and backgrounds. The backgrounds were rinsed and repeated too many times. Again this is just my personal experience and if you enjoyed it fair enough. But there are better games out there waaaaaaaaay more worth my time, this horrible drivel of software is not for me thanks. If the Switch got something like Devil May Cry a very old game I would rejoice. That's a game not Implosion!

I hate that game boring visuals, boring game play, go from here to here, boring mechanics, press this button and then this one for rubbish combo A or B, boring script boring acting boring boring 😴😴😴 sorry drifted off there just from reliving my horrible experience with that thing. (I refuse to call that a game it's an insult to the industry)

And quiet honestly I'm actually scared at the prospect of titles like this coming from mobile games and flooding the Switch market. The Switch deserves more than this kind of experience, it's certainly not what I bought it for. I hope others don't make these types of titles a success.... I really really hope....

Came out weeks ago in Australia and I love it. Hardly use the 3D on my other models so don't miss it one bit. This has made me pick up many of my games that have sat unloved for a long time.

GBA was, is and will forever be a fantastic little portable.

@EDF it's most likely that came from the fact it started in the Gameboy Color and was the only one for many years before becoming a download title available on multiple platforms. But yeah it's not really is it lol.

My dream come true would be the same as the 2DS xl with an iPhone on the back of thr top screen. Or some variant of that. Phone and 'real' games all in one pocket size package. I'd be set. I know it won't happen but hey it's a dream.

@Folkloner like you I would rather stay completely oblivious to the world around me. I wish news sources would only promote content deemed appropriate by publishers and other 'safe' sources. I am just not able to deal with the real world.
