UK company FunStockRetro has announced a limited edition print run depicting the cast from Mega Man Legacy Collection 2; it's a title that's sadly skipping Nintendo hardware. The impressive art print has been designed by Iron Gut Publishing and is officially licensed by Capcom.
The paper is 300gsm textured (intended for a premium feel) and is sized at 11.7 x 16.5 inch (A3). Arriving with a certificate of authenticity from Capcom along with being hand numbered, the mega piece is limited to just 995 units worldwide.
Coinciding with the release of the game, the impressive art will release on 8th August. Pre-orders are now live and can be put down for £19.99 (shipping excluded).
What do you think of this piece? Will you be picking one up?

What an awesome print. Nice.
Why sell a Collection when you can sell it piecemeal to a starving Nintendo audience? What's the bets they turn up individually on Switch at some point?
@Dakt Same thought...
@SLIGEACH_EIRE almost certainly.
This is Non-Nintendo News.
Going with PS4 Version.
@Dakt My thoughts exactly. This article has no reason to be posted here.
I forgot this was a thing, and is skipping Nintendo consoles!
Way to make me sad for a few minutes!
Thanks for the reminder!
Getting this day one on PS4!!!
Just getting us riled up again, huh?
@Dakt Thankfully the print in question is 100% confirmed to work on your wall. Incredible, right?
No Switch, no sale. (This includes posters or any other swag.) Capcom, put this on the platform it deserves to be on. Your efforts on Switch, so far, suck.
Screw you Capcom! What an easy port for the Switch!! Ugh!
@SLIGEACH_EIRE agreed. That's probably the intention. IF Nintendo ever gets off their asses and launches the damn Sevice!!
@AirElephant You heard them, buy USF2 or it isn't worth their time to make Switch games.
"Mistranslated!!!"
Oh yeah? How about all them Capcom Switch games? Oh.....
@Damo lol. I was gonna post a sarcastic comment on how this is not Nintendo news because I knew there would be these stupid comments but they all beat me to the punch. And then you gave the perfect response to said stupid posts! Lmao
Crazy this won't be on the Switch; it's arguably the most suitable console for it. 8-/
This poster just reminded me of "Why no Rockman & Forte?"
@Filth_Element I aim to please!
Cannot believe this is skipping Nintendo - unless they're doing a 2-in-1 collection for Switch. But why not 3DS? Biggest sign they've got beef with Nintendo. Monster Hunter moving away makes sense from a business perspective but this is weird.
@Dakt Dulux have paint which contains Mega Man games released on Nintendo systems? Wow, I knew they were making massive strides with colour selection but that's INCREDIBLE
@Dakt clicks = revenue. we all fell for it
@Dang69 @SLIGEACH_EIRE Also remember the saturday cartoon selection is not coming to Nintendo. No Capcom classic Nintendo games are coming to modern Nintendo systems, utterly ridiculous but true.
Capcom most definitely seems to have some kind of problem with Nintendo. This isn't a matter of business sense anymore. It's clear that these games would sell well especially to the Ninty audience. I would have bought both this and Saturday Morning collection. It's ridiculous.
If they do plan on selling these games individually to milk us for more money, they can go suck a donkey sack cuz I won't be buying on any platform period, just like I wasn't going to get scammed into paying $40 for a SFII port with garbage and unoriginal add ons. They're practices are absolutely atrocious when it comes to Ninty platforms and I'm so close to boycotting their products.
@Dakt "Dulux works on walls too, maybe you can get an article out of that"
For the love of God, don't give him ideas like that. He's snarky enough to actually do it.
@YANDMAN And there's no way USF2 didnt sell well enough on Switch to justify at least digital only releases. I know Disney Afternoon and MMLC2 were developed before the Switch was super public but Capcom had been in early talks with Nintendo about Switch specs and I can't imagine those would be hard at all to port, meaning they'd announce "coming to Switch later".
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I'd prefer that approach, honestly. Mega Man 7 and 8 are pretty mediocre games. I want this purely for portable versions of 9 and 10.
Why the bloody heck is this even on a Nintendo site? Slow news day? Click baiting like Nintendo Enthusiast, are we? Sad. Capcom is just adding more and more reasons to give to people justify ROMs and emulators.
Cool art. Looking forward to getting the collection on PS4!
@Dakt Most of these games still appeared on past Nintendo systems. Mega Man 7, SNES. Mega Man 9 & 10, Wii.
Also, Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 was on 2DS and 3DS.
It's very relevant even if the new collection is skipping current Nintendo systems.
@mikegamer PS4, X1 and PC combined install base is vastly bigger than the install base of any Nintendo system, even all the current Nintendo systems together. Remember, Switch has only sold a few million so far.
There are plenty of options for buying the collection, there's no justification whatsoever for piracy.
@SuperC142 PS4 is the best system for this collection. PS4 is a great console, it's like Sony made a Wii HD.
@WaveBoy @Tasuki: I've missed this place. I just wish Capcom would release 1 MEGA collection for my shiny Gold PS4.
@mikegamer Nintendo and Mega Man are so closely tied it makes sense to post this.
Sure, let's all reward Capcom for being Crapcom as usual, why the hell not!
@Dang69 It's still useless to post it.
I guess we didn't buy enough overpriced copies of USF2 :/
@mikegamer This is a site about Nintendo "interests". Mega Man is in the fam, so it makes sense here, no matter the console release. If you're so worried about potential butthurtness over getting fooled all the time, here's a good web space for all your safe, news needs, https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica
@Dakt dude it is gaming news and I for one appreciate being able to come here and get lots of news and not have to go to multiple sources. I also like the fact that coming here is not the equivalent of sticking my head in the sand as soon as non Nintendo news gets anywhere close to me.
@Dang69 Good call man. Yeah I reckon some would be much happier sticking to news sources that aren't the press. A balanced opinion and view is not what some want obviously.
Capcom, all will be forgiven if you give us a Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 pack for the Switch. I know you can do it!
Oh, and give us that Disney collection as well!
@Dang69 Thanks for the ad hominem attack. No really. NOA wouldn't listen to people anyway.
Make a Switch version that also has Megaman & Bass. All will be forgiven
This makes about as much sense as a article on Crash Bandicoot being here.
@Dakt I was thinking the same thing.
@mikegamer I know right!
@MegaTen I like your optimism and insight on the situation and of course I always prefer that the bigger publishers and software companies bring their best to Nintendo platforms, however, I just don't see them supporting The switch like they really should to build that momentum & trust back with Capcom. These games are no-brainers for the console but honestly who knows it could be Nintendo saying hold off on these offerings for all we know until they sort out their Virtual Console plans.
@Dakt
Seriously dude. Why is this on NintendoLife? Are they teasing us? If we can't get it, then why tell us? That's like telling me you had pizza when I was never invited. It's soul crushing is what it is!
Skipping Nintendo hardware? Then it should skip NintendoLife. Or do they know something we don't?
The argument it's a gaming site and thus relevant is completely ridiculous, as is the ability to hang it on your wall. If you're upset that Crapcom is skipping the Switch with so many games (As they've been doing with the 3DS and Wii U as well) and you STILL buy this junk, then what message does that send?
Don't support Capcom's price gouging and Switch snubbing practices. This article has absolutely no purpose. Let PushSquare cover it.
@Samus7Killer
PC version here but yeah, deserves a Switch version. It just seems like they want to milk VC (whenever this fionally happens too) crap with Nintendo consoles.
For a split second I thought they announced a Switch version.
@Dang69 The first MegaMan colelction didnt come to the wiiu either. It has to be some kind of agreement between sony and microsoft and capcom, I see no other reason as to why this could or would happen.
@YANDMAN but why not the second collection on the 3ds, like the first. I don't think they have an agreement, I think it's one of those Japanese business grudges or something.
@Dang69 Maybe they tested the waters with the 3DS and it had terrible sales. Nintendo based games i would of thought will always sell well on a Nintendo system. Despite what everyone says about the wiiu there are still 12 million systems out there and im sure 2 million sales would of been possible.
