QubicGames has uploaded a new cinematic trailer for the action-shooter Robonauts, whilst also confirming its release date. After previously announcing that the game would be ported to the Switch back in August, the company has now revealed that Robonauts will be available from the Switch eShop on 15th September.
Featuring music by Simon Viklund, this arcade-style shooter uses gravity to switch up gameplay as you journey off into the unknowns of space. The adventure contains twelve different planetary systems, an array of weapons and the added bonus of solo and local multiplayer. The trailer shows our robotic friend crash landing on a mysterious planet before being attacked by various gruesome creatures. Check it out below:
There's also a gameplay trailer:
Will you be venturing into space with Robonauts?

If you didn't see the gameplay video from the previous article:
The gravity part of switching between planets it kinda cool
@Bunkerneath Thanks!
Game looks good, I'll keep it on my radar!
I'll want to watch some let's plays first, but this one looks intriguing.
I might be picking this up, just would like to see a little more of the game first
Intro video amazing. Gameplay video made me motion sick (Round and Round you go). I hope it sells well, but I will have to skip to avoid the motion sickness.
Meh, that intro video was kinda cool though.
What if SMG and Contra had a baby...
I just don't know. I like the look of it but the aiming doesn't look very intuitive. Of course I could be wrong because I don't know much about the control system. It would be great to have a demo, otherwise I'm gonna wait for a review.
@Landlord I'm with you there, I was only watching for a short time and I'm getting motion sickness already. Think I'll pass on this one but I don't really like the look of it anyway.
I've never had an issue with motion sickness before, whether it's real life activities or VR, but that trailer straight up made me queasy.
What the fudge am I watching this sugar for!? Stopped at 36 seconds is it a game or a new movie/show thanks @bunkerneath that's at least a game. Still not that interested though lol.
I have mixed opinions about it, I like the concept of the game, but the jumping between planets and stuff just seems a little queasy.
I watched the intro movie and thought: wow!
Then I watched the gameplay video and thought: what?
I had a very different gameplay style in mind after watching the intro movie... the worst part is that all that jumping between planets made me motion sick... It looks interesting, to be honest, but I don't know if I might want to play this if I'm going to get sick all the time... (that's one of the reasons I never cared for the 3D on the 3DS)
looks nice and could be fun, but the planet rolling is nauseating.
Totally unoriginal and just not very interesting. The trailer without gameplay looked like it might be fun but the game doesnt.
The article does say its the intro video not the advert, and they have added the gameplay to the article now
