$60 for 421 pieces is definitely too expensive, that's 14¢ per piece. The Piranha Plant was already pushing it. The bigger Nintendo Collector sets offer better relative value (Even the Zelda set which had ~12¢ per piece).
This is inaccurate. The "Retiring soon" label on Lego's website doesn't encompass every retiring set, I'd recommend referring to other resources such as Brickset or certain subreddits. The "Hard to find" label refers only to retailer availability, not retirement; it indicates that a given set may not be available at all retailers. Also, to the best of my knowledge, Lego does not retire sets at different dates for different regions (though certain regions may run out of stock faster than others).
Regarding the sets shown above, I can confirm that the NES is retiring at the end of the year. The Mario 64 Question Block has already been retired as of July of this year. I haven't bothered to look into the rest of the items listed here but I know that there are at least two Minecraft sets not listed here that are retiring at the end of this year (The Fox Lodge and The Deep Dark Battle).
@Incarna Even though DoReMiFa Rondo is not included, there are other 40mP songs, like Karakuri Pierrot, Time Machine, Mousou Sketch, Torinokocity, and Kyoudai Shoujou.
If you are able to obtain it, Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega39's is fantastic. You don't need to know much Japanese to be able to navigate it, especially if you've played Future Tone.
I'd love to play Twilight Princess with the Gamepad, with motion control aiming and plenty of buttons for items, combining the Wii and GameCube control schemes.
@jedikitty Same. I wasn't initially pleased with it, but it looks like a Mario Party game without the weird things that have been done in the more recent games. To top it off, the amiibo line looks great!
This sounds solid. Seems like the perfect time to start playing this series. I was going to start with Lost Valley, because it looked promising, but this seems like a far better option.
@TwilightAngel Actually, Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. have shifted a lot of consoles, and I have heard many people who aren't massive nintendo fans showing an interest in Splatoon and Xenoblade X, the latter especially because of Shulk's inclusion in Smash. I'd like to remain optimistic about the Wii U's future.
@Sanqet Unfortunately, the Wii U wasn't out at the time KIU came out. A sequel on Wii U, or an update to support the New 3ds c stick, would fix all the original game's problems.
@Sanqet Can you think of a better control scheme for it (without a second circle pad, as it came out almost three years before the new 3DS and circle pad pros are annoyingly bulky)? It would have been better on a home console with better controls, but otherwise, it takes full advantage of the 3DS and in my opinion is the best looking game on the system.
Mine are as follows:
1. Fire Emblem Awakening
2. Zelda Majora's Mask 3D
3. Kid Icarus: Uprising
4. Pokemon X and Y
5. Any of the Professor Layton games (couldn't decide which one)
6. Animal Crossing New Leaf
7. Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D
8. Tomodachi Life
9. Fantasy Life
10. Super Smash Bros.
The DS lite was my first gaming system, and I played it so much. I continued to play on it even when I got a Wii. Now I have a New 3DS and Wii U, and I play my 3DS far more than my Wii U. I always get more attached to handhelds than console
It is a fantastic game. Though short, it had brilliant puzzles and dungeons. Additionally, it looked fantastic. However, the sound doesn't hold up playing it on Wii U Virtual Console.
@ThatEpicDude There have been mobile Sonic games before, and even the platformers work well. I wouldn't be too surprised if Sonic Runners turns out well.
Tablets may have games available for cheaper than a handheld game, but the majority of mobile games are just awful, overfishing microtransactions and underusing good gameplay. People have tried to make good mobile games, but they just don't work on mobile devices the way they'd work on a handheld. Tablets aren't designed for games, handhelds are.
You don't need a powerful system to play good games. Gamers today still stand 64-bit games like Zelda Majora's Mask above games on XBox One. Some current hits, like Minecraft, aren't even 32-bit. The Wii U has better games than PS4, and that's what Matters.
Quell Reflect is a great game, I'm probably going to get that. I'm surprised that only Quell Reflect is being released, as it is the second game and the third game, Quell Memento, is superior to both Quell and Quell Reflect.

Re: Rumour: Data Miner Uncovers Evidence Of Twilight Princess On Nintendo's Wii U eShop
@mjc0961 Just saying, the control scheme of Wind Waker HD worked great. Why wouldn't those controls be applicable to Twilight Princess?

Definitely picking this up (meaning downloading). Played it on mobile, so I would love to play it with a controller.
Re: Kung Fu FIGHT! Will Exchange Blows With the Wii U eShop Next Week
At least give this a chance, I've played it before, and it is amazing, very similar to Bit.trip Runner.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Director Masahiro Sakurai Seems To Quite Like The PS4
@Haywired But the N64 is not powerful at all against the PS4 or Wii U. I'd still rate Zelda OoT or MM above any game on PS4.
