I stayed up late last night and finally finished Darksiders 3!!!!! It's a masterpiece and my second favorite in the series after 2.
Tonight I would like to start Dread. I played for about an hour when it launched but was distracted by life and Darksiders. Now I'm ready to get fully sucked in
I adore this developer!! They aren't as "edgy" as a lot of Atlus games and for my mind they have an anime style that is similar in spirit to what anime was like in the 90's. It's never obtrusive and I just love it all. This is very good news
I'm not a League person per se, but one of my most anticipated games is the Airship Syndicate League of Legends RPG, and maybe it would be fun to dip into that universe a little
I wish I wasn't still stuck on Darksiders 3. I've been playing it for months and I am ready to finally finish it. But I spent all day grinding in the Crucible for an armor set so I guess it's my own dang fault.
Otherwise I'm just grinding away at Dragon Quest 7. This does it for me in a way XI never did and I can't explain it yet
@clianvXAi I have two things going for me that makes that score ring a little less true.
1. Darksiders is my favorite series and this is an excellent entry that Ive wanted since it was announced.
2. I don't get bothered by slowdown and there is quite a bit in the game. It's not too bad in many places, but certainly in some places it can be. I think it lands in the "miracle port" tier with Witcher and Doom
If I get time to play anything I would like it to be Dragon Quest 7. It is my girlfriend's favorite game, and I've never even touched it. Excited to see what all the fuss is about!
@Lilmonix3 this is my game of the year!! I played it all 65 hours in a few weeks without pausing to play anything else. It's just good fun and the chapter structure has this game play loop that's never got tired of
@NRLPLSTCTY I far prefer the second one!! I think it could be the expanded move set, or else I was just more comfortable with the controls and game feel once I began the game instead of having to wrestle with the learning curve.
I've been meaning to revisit these two I should try to do so and keep what it is you've said in mind
The Ori games are the ones that made me fans of the genre. Before that I had only dabbled in Early Castlevania and barely touched a Metroid (other than my repeat attempts at Super which I cannot play)
What attracts me to this "genre" is the same thing that elevates any work of fiction that draws me in (Avatar the Air Bender/Full Metal Alchemist/Lord of the Rings etc) and that X factor isthe world building. Singular levels could never make me feel like I exist in a place, but the best of genre applies the learned skills and experiences of the world into world itself. That's beautiful and uniquely Castletroid
Metroid Dread as I imagine everyone else is... But I have also been enjoying Darksiders 3! I am blessed with the inability to notice performance issues and so far it's the series I love so dearly. It's arrival as a full fat port (with a physical release!) The same week as the Kingdom Hearts games release as their cloud versions is the chefs kiss!
Well hey there, it's me again - overly picky gamer girl. Soooooooo this is is just pictures of the direct! They used to build out a schedule and sometimes you would get sneak announcements or confirmations for other games we knew about. I came here looking for some news about Outer Wilds, but I understand that I set myself up for failure here huh?
I'm still working through Moon: Remix RPG... It's good and has some beautiful moments! But it sort of meanders and I don't think I could have made nearly any progress at all if it weren't for using a guide.
@Zuljaras OOOH!!! I just finished Order of Ecclesia! It's the hardest Castlevania game I've ever played (although I skipped any of them before Symphony)
One of the weird things about big RPGs is that it means every week my answer is the same. Lol but it's still great and even though I'm close to the end I kind of never want it to end. It's just so good!

I am hopelessly addicted to Ys IX!!! I've tried to put it down and play something else but it keeps calling back to me. Performance is a very real issue, but I guess I just don't care. I'm having such a good time and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys 3D action games
I had been waiting for Ys 9 for nearly 3 years and now that it's here I am loving every minute of it! And yet... I've also never wished for a Switch pro more than I have now too. It does not run altogether too well.
I'm the portable sphere I am finally digging into De Blob 2 but the DS version! The two console versions are some of the most charming platformers around and the DS game seems to be a similar experience in 2D. Wish me luck!!
I am honestly hung up on Disaster Day of Crisis. It's probably not an amazing game, but it's a long lost game for the US audiences and I wanna play it!!

Re: Japanese RPG Heavyweight Nihon Falcom Is Bringing Switch Development In-House
@Moroboshi876 If you have any love for the series then the problems with YS IX are easy enough to over look!
I played it for like 50 hours over 3 weeks it was terrific

Outer Wilds plz!!!
Re: SteamWorld Dig Is Getting A Third-Person Co-Op Sequel "With A Twist"
@Thoughts I loved Tower Defense, but it is as hard as any story you've ever heard of it. I never have beaten it but it was darn good
Re: SteamWorld Dig Is Getting A Third-Person Co-Op Sequel "With A Twist"
I would very much like to know more! Those graphics are good, but hopefully not TOO good for our Lil Switch
Dig 1&2 and Heist are some of the finest games ever
Re: Riot Announces Rhythm Runner 'Hextech Mayhem: A League Of Legends Story' For Nintendo Switch
I might actually try this.

Re: Random: A Rather Angry Mario Is Hiding In This Sega Saturn Game From 1995
This game was a classic! I remember being blown away by the graphics for years and years!!
Re: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For November And December 2021
@sketchturner you mentioned Dread and Hollow Knight here, have you heard of The Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonderland. It looks fantastic
Re: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For November And December 2021
I think that Smurfs game and Deedlit in Wonderland are probably all about I'm grabbing, but I think I must've bought 4 games last month.
It's a good season!

I can't get enough Darksiders 3! I just have so little time to play. Next week I hope to have a different answer though 😳
Re: Poll: Pikmin Is Now 20 Years Old - Which Is Your Favourite Game In The Series?
All this red love is fascinating!!!!
I am team Yellow, but I am not surprised Rock is winning. I mean look at them
Re: Triangle Strategy Gets A Snazzy New Trailer
@Arckadius Thats the rub on this game for me!
I avoided Octopath Traveller because it sounded like the story was a real dud and I can't imagine plunking time into an RPG with a poor narrative

That subtitle "Revamped" had me sure it was published by THQNordic
Re: Poll: Which Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Games Should You Play First Via Nintendo Switch Online?
Phantasy Star 4 should get the nod. It stands toe to toe with Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger as a 16-bit JRPG giant

Re: Soapbox: What Makes A Game A Good Metroidvania Anyway?
@NRLPLSTCTY I recommend the Ori games!!! The finest the genre has to offer with very little in the way of "what next??"

@N8tiveT3ch love you for this. I don't get it

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 9th)
@HollowSpectre i almost am worried that 3 will seem poor by comparison! Darksiders 2 is in my all time top 5 games and I think it's nearly perfect

I took some time off of video games for personal reasons, but I'm baaaaaaacccccckkkkkk baby!
Last night I finished No More Heroes 2, and it has honestly sat so well with me that Im willing to give three a shot. Travis is growing up!
I also am starting Moon: Remix RPG, which has always intrigued me, and I'm looking forward to something unlike anything else I've ever played

Re: Suda51 Talks No More Heroes 3, Switch Motion Controls And More
Mmk so here is my big thing. Stick in the mud alert over here, but I am more and more turned off by the sexual violence in the previous two games.
I would like to see the Travis character just slightly matured in this one or else I might just skip

Up next though is No More Heroes 2
