A pro may one day come though, this is just a rebrand of the XL line of DS and 3DS

This article and list is incredible to me, it feels like a bunch of games from a different planet!!! I think I have heard of maybe 4 of them?
But the one shmup I've actually played on the console is surprisingly absent? I loved Sine Mora Ex (which was my first foray in the genre) but is it actually not good?

@dugan @utopianmachine Yonder was such a weird experience for me! There was a lot that I really loved about it, and I have some incredible and fond memories of running around and completing tasks for it. I wish the umbrella gave you a little more distance in your floating ala Breath of the Wild, but fun take on the farming sim idea!

I am at the last battle of Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside story! I am so excited for it to be done! There were a lot of great moments, but it's overall been so chatty and dull... I mourn the loss of any developer jobs, but Alpha Dreams vision for a Mario RPG is so removed from anything I'd like see done with that concept

Also I'll try to play more No More Heroes!

I paid 60$ for each of the two Ori games physically (I really thought that that was going to be a competitive price - damn the limited run mentality!)
And while that isn't what they cost new any more I think that was a great price for that game for how beautiful and deep the experience was. Metroid es lo mismo and I have every intention on spending 60$ for it

I'm loving Lucah! It has one of the most interesting art styles I've ever seen!

Rabbids Kingdom Battle owns and I'm so happy more of you are picking it up!!!

It's that weird time right before all sorts of big and amazing games start dropping at the beginning of next month, and I was mostly coasting with a second playthrough of Ys Origins and catching up on 3DS titles (Castlevania Order of Ecclesia!) But on a whim I picked up Immortals Fenix Rising and it's pretty fun so far! The banter between the gods is legitimately charming!

I want 7 more of those games that are coming out this year (and also Ys 9!)
I think 8 new games is plenty for an exciting 6 month period. This list is also bolstered by the rate at which Limited Run games can get new titles to me! I will be super eager to jump into the first two No More Heroes and Bug Fables asap!

This is my absolute favorite Final Fantasy title and in my all time top 3 games!

Somewhere on my old blog I called it "the most Nintendo RPG Nintendo never made"

This one is a little foreign to me. But I would never delete either of the Steamworld Dig games. Both are games I go back to constantly

I gave a thumbs up to all you cool cats and kittens who are jumping on Mario + Rabbids. That game is fantastic and the sequel is my game of E3.

Well I tried going back and playing Super Metroid after Tuesdays big reveal. It's such a great game in so many ways that I hardly believe anyone would have much negative to say if it released today! My one hang up, and the reason I've never finished it is that I cannot wall jump, I've tried for hours and I just can't do it.

So instead this weekend it's back to Resident Evil 4 and finally wrapping up Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story! Wish me luck friends!

I (foolishly in retrospect, but limited run culture has me jumpy) paid 60$ for each of the Ori games and I don't believe I over paid even one bit. I see them as a perfect point of comparison, and frankly think Indies could get away with charging more for their games.

I went back to play Sonic Mania after it not having clicked with me when it first launched. In the years since I am in a more adjusted place and with a system that has scores of the types of games I love available to me at any time. I am more patient with game systems that do not immediately click with me and have found joy in all sorts of less than perfect video games.

But I think I might be in the "Sonic was never good camp" with that I will be turning in my Sega Kid Badge and Orange Sega Saturn Light Gun

The announcement that stole the show for me remains Mario + Rabbids. However Metroid Dread is still almost an unbelievable announcement, I'd have sworn it was fanfiction.

Other highlights for me beyond Nintendo showing, was the Limited Run games presentation! Knowing that both Super Hot and Haven are getting physical releases pleased me to the moon and back. A great e3 indeed!

Best non direct announcements were Mario+Rabbids obviously... But also I'm the Limited Run show they announced physical releases of Super Hot and Haven. I'm a physical only gal so these were almost like new games

I liked the presentation so much. Metroid 5 is incredible, but Mario Rabbids 2 is easily my game of the show

I think they pulled mini games from the Gameboy advance title

There has been a lot of understandable grievance with sites like Super Rare or Limited Run games. And for a long time my defense was that limited runs are not the alternative to unlimited runs, but instead to no physical release at all.

This concept was always kind of bad and I appreciate the steps they've made

When I am first introduced to new gameplay structures, I become overwhelmed. As a huge fan of the first game I am just saying, that the new developments are scary, but I am super excited to learn them and what the game is trying to teach me.
The graphics and concept are better than I could have ever expected and I'm so happy that it even exists!!!!

I think this is so wonderful, it's everything I could have imagined for a sequel to one of my very favorite Switch games. The teaser that released this morning didn't mention Rabbid Mario, but I'm so happy he was in the trailer!

I want more details in the direct but maybe we won't see it?

@Munchlax I wish I could play that game for the first time again!!! I understand certain grievances that have developed over time, but no other Zelda game is as good when it comes to pure dungeon crawling

I have been hopelessly addicted to Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. I'm just over half way through! It's the perfect game to play and to have some e3 goodness streaming in the background.

Fingers crossed for that rumored sequel!!!

I also assumed that it would be expensive and rare, but it's not too difficult to get your hands on a copy. Though again I won't couch for it's quality!

I've done the impossible and completed my Switch backlog! I won't have any new experiences on there until Ys 9, but in the meantime I plan on replaying Mario + Rabbids and Darksiders 2!

I also started Castlevania Order of Ecclesia on the bus ride home last night. I've heard it's basically the best one so this is exciting!

I overdrafted on my rent check and am making it through the next week on -37 dollars... But go off I guess

I have trouble when I first get into a new game. I am not invested in characters, and I am slow to learn new controls. Usually the first half or so of a game is not enjoyed the way the second half is... But when I play them again whoooo boy! Everything feels smooth and I can recall what the consequences of the events of the first half are

I believe I have replayed most of my Switch games at least once. Sometimes I do not, but many of them are so great I have to. I have also repurchased all of the Wii U games that came to switch and then played those

I couldn't agree more! That's a lie because my next sentence is that I liked Chamber of Secrets more. But those two are both excellent little RPGs!!!

This has been a good week for me to revisit games I had previously made opinions on. I'm trying to finish Bowser's Inside Story on the DS, and Hyper Light Drifter on my Switch. Both are very good and have caused me more than a little frustration for VERY different reasons.

Also in light of the news I do want to revisit Sonic Mania. I was not at all impressed when it launched, but maybe that was just where I was at the time.

I genuinely think this game struck a better balance for Zelda than BotW, which is it's own fun but just doesn't feel like Zelda anymore
