Re: Nintendo Reassures Us That Bayonetta 3 "Still Exists" Despite E3 No-Show

Donkey-Kong-Fan

@NoxAeturnus I do think that Bayonetta 3 was announced too early. However, Metroid Prime 4 was announced early because it was a necessity. Back then, not only were Metroid fans uncertain about the series, but there was also kind of an anti-3DS sentiment during the early days of the Switch because it was thought it took away development resources for the Switch. So only announcing Samus Returns back then would've garnered some backlash.

Also you have to remember that they didn't know they would have to restart development back then. That's what made it take longer than they initially knew.

Re: Talking Point: Why Metroid Dread Will Be Worth $60

It’s a brand new HD from the ground up non-remake Metroid game. Since it’s developed by the same studio that did Samus Returns, it’ll also most likely take around 30 hours to complete. If you don't think that's a game with $60, I don't know what to tell you. The game has already made it in Amazon's best sellers list, so it's clear they made the right decision and that the doubters' words are futile.

@MS7000 Hey man, I know we’ve had some rough interactions in the past. But I just want to say, it seems you’ve greatly changed since then. It’s really inspiring and I just wanna say I’ve definitely noticed. Good job man. 👍🏻

Sorry for being rough on you in the past.

@BloodNinja Do you think it’s rational that you immediately discredit a good video game developer just because there were some things you didn’t agree with? Even if you really hate the counter for some reason, Samus Returns was a very competently crafted game made with the utmost care. And like I said before, it’s something they’ve vastly improved from the last game.

If you watch the treehouse footage, you’ll see they really did improve the counter move to have extra mobility. So I wasn’t making anything up as you said.

@BloodNinja Because you come here just to try and polarize the comment section with your completely misinformed take on the game. This thread was going so good until you came here with your whining. Then you procede to act as if Mercury Steam is a horrible developer and that Samus Returns is a completely bad game all because of a move that you didn’t like. Even then, they’ve improved the move so that it doesn’t break the pace of the game, but of course you choose to ignore that.

All I want to do is be excited for one of Nintendo’s games. When I see childish comments like yours that try to rain on other people’s excitement, it derails my excitement for an amazing game. Every time I try to go back to being excited for the game, I have your slanderous words repeat in my head as I try to be excited. That’s why I resent people like you who have nothing to do but to complain about Nintendo’s announcements even if they’re amazing.

Re: Yes, The Samus Returns Team Helped Nintendo Develop Metroid Dread

@BloodNinja They took the time to make a brand new 2D Metroid game with the same developer that made the fantastic Samus Returns and all you can do is discredit the great game they made and refuse to give this new one a chance. They listened to the feedback about the counter move, and they made it have extra mobility so that you don’t have to stop in your tracks in order to execute it. It’s also not required to defeat every enemy. On top of that, they made the game look great and fun to experience.

All of this and you’re STILL unwilling to give it a chance just because of one single aspect that they’ve already addressed. People like you are why I don’t consider myself part of the Metroid fan base anymore.

Re: Sony And RTS Jointly Acquire Fighting Game Tournament EVO, Nintendo Responds

@Zorox88 What bad things has Nintendo in this specific event? Where in the article does it insinuate Nintendo is "bad to their fans"? If they were "bad to their fans" why are all their games made with their fans enjoyment in mind? It seems to me you're just looking at any reason to hate Nintendo. Especially when you accuse them of giving you an abusive relationship as if they have any bad impact in your life as much as an abusive partner. Cringe.

As soon as I saw this article, I had a feeling you'd throw shade at Twilight Princess for no reason and I was right. Twilight Princess is the one of the best Zelda games ever, on par with Wind Waker, and you still felt the need to compare it to WW for no reason at all.

Twilight Princess one of the best if not the best Zelda of all time and people like you are not going to take away from that fact.
