I am thrilled beyond words over us FINALLY getting a new Donkey Kong 3D game and have been waiting such a long time for this. It looks amazing but my biggest question is where are Diddy and Dixie?
@graviton I liked 'Yoshi's Crafted World' but I am hoping for a new Yoshi game more or 'Yoshi's Woolly World' which is my favourite Nintendo Wii U game that didn't get released on Switch.
I am very happy over the announcements. I have been writing about a 'Hyrule Warriors 3' game being a possibility for months now because one of the producers said they believed there would be a third one because of how successful the first two were and I am looking forward to playing it 'cause I loved 'Age of Calamity.' I prefer the fast paced action style of fighting in the 'Hyrule Warriors' games than the regular 'Legend of Zelda' games and it is so much easier to beat monsters like Lynels, Moldugas and Hinoxes and I am going to enjoy killing Gloom Hands and Gleeoks in it. 😀

From what I have heard they were planning on casting a female Actor in her late teens or early 20s for the role of Zelda which is why I have suggested McKenna Grace and I doubt they are going to have Link played by somebody old enough to be Zelda's Father. lol
@N00BiSH That's true but Yoshi was technically in the 'Super Mario Bros' movie with Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo and Samantha Mathis but he was a little dinosaur that looked nothing like he did in the games and they couldn't ride around on his back but he wasn't in the recent animated movie where they had the chance to make a Yoshi that is far more faithful to the games and Captain Toad wasn't in it either and I feel the Captain should have got a small appearance. Hopefully the sequel is better along with the 'Donkey Kong' animated movie but so far Sonic is beating Mario for a change at movies and they are only just getting started and had Amy join at the end of the third movie with the Metal Sonics and they have still got Rogue, Cream, Charmy Bee, Vector, Espio, Blaze, Big, Tikal, the Babylon Rogues and Silver the Hedgehog to name a few to come and best of all the Director is a longtime Sonic fan and wants to bring a lot of these characters to the movies for fans.
The Mario movies need to take some notes from the Sonic movies and build more excitement for their characters.

I would love to see Cream and Rouge as playable characters in more of the main games going forward. We got a lot of main games where we have got to play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow but Amy is usually the only playable female character and Rouge hasn't been a playable character in a main series game since Sonic Heroes which unlike a lot of the other 3D games has sadly never been re-released on any modern console since it came out back in 22 years ago.

@Mariotag They could easily make an Arkham Origins 2 'cause there was a big gap between Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum where Dick Grayson was Robin and Barbara Gordon was Batgirl and they could focus on the origins of Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Two Face, Clayface and Scarecrow, bring back Lady Shiva who was sadly absent from the other games and include villains like Killer Moth, Prometheus, Great White Shark, Humpty Dumpty, Maxie Zeus, Clock King and Ratcatcher who had profiles and Easter Eggs in the Arkham games but never appeared.
An 'Arkham Origins 2' where you can play as Batman, Batgirl and Robin (Dick Grayson) in a fully accessible Gotham with all the areas from past games and an open Wonder City and Bludhaven would be a lot of fun. I remember reading 'Arkham Knight' was originally supposed to be bigger and have the full Gotham with the areas from the previous games but they ended up not going through with it 'cause the Batmobile wouldn't fit at the time but looking at what they can do in open world games now and how big they have become I am sure they could do a lot more now.
@Crumpet123 I am surprised we haven't had a Super Mario Maker 3D. I think a Captain Toad Treasure Tracker game that allows you to create your own levels would be a lot of fun too.
@SalvorHardin Non Banjo fans don't realize Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts is NOT a proper Banjo Kazooie game and was literally a spinoff game like Mario Kart where you build vehicles and drive and fly them around and they used the failure of that to justify not making more Banjo Kazooie when the first two games were widely loved by fans and fans wanted a PROPER third game and not the spinoff ***** we were given. When Kirby can last as long as it has and have dozens of games I absolutely have no doubt Banjo Kazooie could have done the same thing if it hadn't been for Microsoft screwing the franchise over. If they are not going to make more games give the franchise back to the creators at Playtonic Games who WANT to make more.
I am not sure if it would rival Mario but it could DEFINITIVELY rival a lot of other 3D Platformers. I have been saying it for years. Banjo Kazooie is the most wasted video game franchise in the history of games and it should have been an ongoing series with multiple video games like Kirby, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro. The amount of people I know that loved Banjo Kazooie when the first two games came out just makes it inexcusable what Microsoft done to it using the sales of a SPINOFF game to justify us not getting a third Banjo Kazooie when there is no doubt if we had gotten a third game it would have been successful.
Just imagine if one of the Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario Golf or Mario Tennis games flopped and Nintendo said they weren't going to make any more Mario because of it because THAT is exactly what Microsoft done to Banjo Kazooie. Nuts and Bolts was NOT a proper Banjo Kazooie game and nobody wanted it. We wanted Banjo Kazooie 3/ Threeie!!!! A 3D PLATFORMER. NOT a vehicle building game. Give the franchise the third PROPER game it deserves.
I would love to see 'Ecco the Dolphin' make a comeback along with new games of Alex Kidd, Wonder Boy and Dynamite Dux. I loved 'Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom' which was an unofficial sequel to 'Wonder Boy' in the same vein as 'Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap' made by some of the original team that made the old games and would like some kinda follow up of that.
It is a shame we can't get an 'Immortals: Fenix Rising 2.' I loved the first game and still play it now but there are some very similar looking games on the way that have heavily borrowed from it and 'Asterigos: Curse of the Stars.'
@PinderSchloss It was reported late last year Ubisoft are in the early stages of creating a new Rayman game with Michel Ancel involved as a consultant to ensure consistency within the universe and they are also working on a remake. I would love to see them do with Rayman what they done with 'Crash Bandicoot' and 'Spyro the Dragon' and bring out a collection of Rayman, Rayman 2: The Great Escape and 'Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc' with modern graphics and bonus things. 😀
Also, I don't know if you heard of it but there was a remake of 'Rayman 2: The Great Escape' called 'Rayman Revolution' on Playstation 2 and it had upgraded graphics along with new areas and new bosses that weren't in the original game.
That is great to hear. I enjoyed playing 'Echoes of Wisdom.' Not as much as playing as Zelda with her powers in 'Age of Calamity' but it was a fun game nonetheless and I hope we get 'Hyrule Warriors 3' next. My favourite game of 2024 has to go to 'Kena: Bridge of Spirits' though which I am still playing now and it was worth the wait for it to be released on X Box Series X as a Premium Edition and I can't remember the last time I have enjoyed a game as much as this one. It reminds me of 'Ary and the Secret of Seasons' and has a Disney and Pixar look to it. 😀
What? No Donkey Kong, Kirby, Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Lemmings, Commander Keen, Wonder Boy, Alex Kidd, Banjo Kazooie, Worms or Star Wars games is disgraceful. Not to mention no classic PC games like Chess, Checkers, Solitaire or Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise....Disgraceful.
@abbyhitter Fingers crossed!! I would love that. There were multiple rumors about a new Johto game last year that could continue onto the 'Let's Go' games or be a remake of Gold, Silver and Crystal with modern 3D graphics.
@Axecon Instead of making another random Eeveelution I would love it if they made evolved forms of some of the existing ones like Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon and Leafon. There was a member over on Reddit last year that drew pictures of what evolved forms of those could look like and they looked really good and I am surprised Pokemon hasn't already done it since there are a lot of three stage evolution Pokemon.
@Buizel I liked the game to an extent too. My biggest problems with it were the combat mechanics especially not being able to block villains in fights like you could in the Arkham games and lack of Bat Gadgets, lack of inside areas to explore, lack of villains to fight in Gotham and lack of boss battles with more big villains from the Bat-Verse. I am one of the few who really liked Arkham Origins (which the creators of this game made) and I would love to see Arkham Origins get re-released on the new consoles with modern graphics like they did with the other games in the Arkham series but a lot of the things I liked in Arkham Origins were missing in this game for me like great boss battles and fun inside areas to explore like the Gotham City Royal Hotel.
Apart from that though I had a good time playing it and loved being able to play as Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin. If they ever make a sequel I would be sure to give it a chance and would love more Bat Family members like The Spoiler, Orphan, Azrael, Batwoman, Bluebird and Batwing as unlockable playable characters. 😀
@LadyCharlie That's why I would give the creators a second chance if they were to make a sequel 'cause I don't think it was a horrible game by any means and while I was disappointed in quite a few aspects I believe they could improve on them and make a better sequel.
That's interesting. I would like a sequel. The first game wasn't as good as the Arkham games and I was disappointed we didn't get more villains but I loved playing as Batgirl along with Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin and it was good to play another DC game similar to the Arkham games again. I think if they were to fix some things from the first game like the Combat mechanics, adding more inside areas to explore, adding more villains across Gotham including more big villains from the Bat-Verse and gangs like the Arkham games had so the city doesn't feel empty and adding more Bat Family members like The Spoiler, Orphan, Azrael, Batwoman, Bluebird and Batwing it could be a much better game.
Hopefully we are getting close to a release date for the new Wonder Woman game being made by Monolith Productions. I have been waiting ages for a Wonder Woman video game and if it like the Arkham games and has a lot of Wonder Woman villains like Medusa, Circe, Silver Swan, Cheetah, Giganta, Doctor Poison, Hypnota, Blue Snowman, Zara, Dark Angel etc and the Wonder Girls (Donna Troy and Cassie Sandsmark) as playable characters it could be awesome.
It was a great year for Shadow. 2027 should be The year of Amy with Amy getting her own game with Rouge, Cream and Blaze as playable characters too. Tail, Knuckles, Shadow and Bean have all had spinoff games. It is time for Amy to get one too and they can use it to give the other female characters some focus too. 😀

@LikelySatan I respectfully couldn't disagree with you more and one of the most disappointing things about the games for me has been we haven't had a lot of the other characters in the games as playable characters and I would love to have Sonic Rumble and Sonic Dream Team on Switch or X Box 'cause they are some of the few Sonic games where we get to play as characters outside of the main five (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Shadow). Rouge's appearance in Sonic Dream Team was the first time she has been available as a playable character in a Platformer game in 17 years and was the first time Cream was available as a playable character in a Platformer game in 20 years.
These characters are far less often used in the games than you might think they are and when they are used they only get small appearances most of the time. They have mostly become popular through the comics and animation. A lot of Sonic fans I know would love a Team Chaotix spinoff game.
That's disappointing to hear. It would be good if they were to release collections of the Master System, Mega Drive/ Genesis, Saturn and Dreamcast on modern consoles. They have released quite a few collections of the Mega Drive/ Genesis but the same can't be said about the Master System, Saturn and Dreamcast.

What a lot of non Sonic fans don't realise is the Sonic Universe is like the DC and Marvel Universes and there are a huge amount of heroes that have yet to be in the movies that deserve their turn on screen. Jeff Fowler said before there were a lot of characters he wants to use and he has plans for more spinoff shows too.
There are a ton of video games, animated shows and comic books to draw inspiration from and it is time for the female characters in the Sonic Universe to get their turn to shine too like Amy, Cream, Rogue, Blaze and Wave. 😀

Jeff Fowler done an interview about 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3' recently and at the end a lot of people in the audience started chanting "We want Amy." Jeff has said before they plan on making up to 6 movies and more spinoffs and both Amy and Rouge should be in 4.
@Jamie64326 There has been talk about 'Sonic Heroes' getting remastered next year. As somebody who loved the original game I have always been disappointed it has never been released on other newer consoles like Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colours and Sonic Generations have been. It was one of the most fun Sonic 3D games imo.

I wish they would do remasters for 'The Simpsons' games now Disney owns 'The Simpsons' like they own 'Star Wars.' I would love to have 'The Simpsons: Hit & Run', 'The Simpsons: Road Rage' and 'The Simpsons (2007)' on modern consoles and Matt Groening and Al Jean have said they get asked about 'The Simpsons: Hit & Run' all the time by fans and want it to get re-released too but they don't have the power to get the game re-released or make a sequel.
As for Star Wars I am not really interested in remastered games but I can't wait for 'Star Wars Jedi 3' and the first two games are probably my favourite Star Wars adaptations ever and I like Cal Kestis, Merrin, BD-1, Greez and Cere more than the movie characters and would love to see them made into movies or a show with Cameron Monaghan and Tina Ivlev playing Cal and Merrin in live action.
I am looking forward to it and enjoyed the first game but come on. Show us some footage of the other worlds too. We saw that world in the last update. 😄
I wouldn't mind having it on Switch but there have been rumours about 'Kirby's Epic Yarn' coming to Switch for some time now and we are still yet to see that happen so I am not sure what to believe at the moment. I am personally hoping we get 'Kirby and the Forgotten Land 2' or a new 3D 'Kirby' game as one of the first titles on Nintendo Switch 'cause I loved 'Kirby and the Forgotten Land' and playing as Kirby in 3D was fun and worth the wait. 😀

@SalvorHardin Non Banjo fans don't realize Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts is NOT a proper Banjo Kazooie game and was literally a spinoff game like Mario Kart where you build vehicles and drive and fly them around and they used the failure of that to justify not making more Banjo Kazooie when the first two games were widely loved by fans and fans wanted a PROPER third game and not the spinoff ***** we were given. When Kirby can last as long as it has and have dozens of games I absolutely have no doubt Banjo Kazooie could have done the same thing if it hadn't been for Microsoft screwing the franchise over. If they are not going to make more games give the franchise back to the creators at Playtonic Games who WANT to make more.

I am not sure if it would rival Mario but it could DEFINITIVELY rival a lot of other 3D Platformers. I have been saying it for years. Banjo Kazooie is the most wasted video game franchise in the history of games and it should have been an ongoing series with multiple video games like Kirby, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro. The amount of people I know that loved Banjo Kazooie when the first two games came out just makes it inexcusable what Microsoft done to it using the sales of a SPINOFF game to justify us not getting a third Banjo Kazooie when there is no doubt if we had gotten a third game it would have been successful.
Just imagine if one of the Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario Golf or Mario Tennis games flopped and Nintendo said they weren't going to make any more Mario because of it because THAT is exactly what Microsoft done to Banjo Kazooie. Nuts and Bolts was NOT a proper Banjo Kazooie game and nobody wanted it. We wanted Banjo Kazooie 3/ Threeie!!!! A 3D PLATFORMER. NOT a vehicle building game. Give the franchise the third PROPER game it deserves.

I would love to see 'Ecco the Dolphin' make a comeback along with new games of Alex Kidd, Wonder Boy and Dynamite Dux. I loved 'Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom' which was an unofficial sequel to 'Wonder Boy' in the same vein as 'Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap' made by some of the original team that made the old games and would like some kinda follow up of that.

It is a shame we can't get an 'Immortals: Fenix Rising 2.' I loved the first game and still play it now but there are some very similar looking games on the way that have heavily borrowed from it and 'Asterigos: Curse of the Stars.'

@PinderSchloss It was reported late last year Ubisoft are in the early stages of creating a new Rayman game with Michel Ancel involved as a consultant to ensure consistency within the universe and they are also working on a remake. I would love to see them do with Rayman what they done with 'Crash Bandicoot' and 'Spyro the Dragon' and bring out a collection of Rayman, Rayman 2: The Great Escape and 'Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc' with modern graphics and bonus things. 😀
Also, I don't know if you heard of it but there was a remake of 'Rayman 2: The Great Escape' called 'Rayman Revolution' on Playstation 2 and it had upgraded graphics along with new areas and new bosses that weren't in the original game.

That is great to hear. I enjoyed playing 'Echoes of Wisdom.' Not as much as playing as Zelda with her powers in 'Age of Calamity' but it was a fun game nonetheless and I hope we get 'Hyrule Warriors 3' next. My favourite game of 2024 has to go to 'Kena: Bridge of Spirits' though which I am still playing now and it was worth the wait for it to be released on X Box Series X as a Premium Edition and I can't remember the last time I have enjoyed a game as much as this one. It reminds me of 'Ary and the Secret of Seasons' and has a Disney and Pixar look to it. 😀

What? No Donkey Kong, Kirby, Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Lemmings, Commander Keen, Wonder Boy, Alex Kidd, Banjo Kazooie, Worms or Star Wars games is disgraceful. Not to mention no classic PC games like Chess, Checkers, Solitaire or Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise....Disgraceful.

@Axecon Instead of making another random Eeveelution I would love it if they made evolved forms of some of the existing ones like Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon and Leafon. There was a member over on Reddit last year that drew pictures of what evolved forms of those could look like and they looked really good and I am surprised Pokemon hasn't already done it since there are a lot of three stage evolution Pokemon.

@Buizel I liked the game to an extent too. My biggest problems with it were the combat mechanics especially not being able to block villains in fights like you could in the Arkham games and lack of Bat Gadgets, lack of inside areas to explore, lack of villains to fight in Gotham and lack of boss battles with more big villains from the Bat-Verse. I am one of the few who really liked Arkham Origins (which the creators of this game made) and I would love to see Arkham Origins get re-released on the new consoles with modern graphics like they did with the other games in the Arkham series but a lot of the things I liked in Arkham Origins were missing in this game for me like great boss battles and fun inside areas to explore like the Gotham City Royal Hotel.
Apart from that though I had a good time playing it and loved being able to play as Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin. If they ever make a sequel I would be sure to give it a chance and would love more Bat Family members like The Spoiler, Orphan, Azrael, Batwoman, Bluebird and Batwing as unlockable playable characters. 😀

@LadyCharlie That's why I would give the creators a second chance if they were to make a sequel 'cause I don't think it was a horrible game by any means and while I was disappointed in quite a few aspects I believe they could improve on them and make a better sequel.

That's interesting. I would like a sequel. The first game wasn't as good as the Arkham games and I was disappointed we didn't get more villains but I loved playing as Batgirl along with Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin and it was good to play another DC game similar to the Arkham games again. I think if they were to fix some things from the first game like the Combat mechanics, adding more inside areas to explore, adding more villains across Gotham including more big villains from the Bat-Verse and gangs like the Arkham games had so the city doesn't feel empty and adding more Bat Family members like The Spoiler, Orphan, Azrael, Batwoman, Bluebird and Batwing it could be a much better game.
Hopefully we are getting close to a release date for the new Wonder Woman game being made by Monolith Productions. I have been waiting ages for a Wonder Woman video game and if it like the Arkham games and has a lot of Wonder Woman villains like Medusa, Circe, Silver Swan, Cheetah, Giganta, Doctor Poison, Hypnota, Blue Snowman, Zara, Dark Angel etc and the Wonder Girls (Donna Troy and Cassie Sandsmark) as playable characters it could be awesome.

It was a great year for Shadow. 2027 should be The year of Amy with Amy getting her own game with Rouge, Cream and Blaze as playable characters too. Tail, Knuckles, Shadow and Bean have all had spinoff games. It is time for Amy to get one too and they can use it to give the other female characters some focus too. 😀

@LikelySatan I respectfully couldn't disagree with you more and one of the most disappointing things about the games for me has been we haven't had a lot of the other characters in the games as playable characters and I would love to have Sonic Rumble and Sonic Dream Team on Switch or X Box 'cause they are some of the few Sonic games where we get to play as characters outside of the main five (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Shadow). Rouge's appearance in Sonic Dream Team was the first time she has been available as a playable character in a Platformer game in 17 years and was the first time Cream was available as a playable character in a Platformer game in 20 years.
These characters are far less often used in the games than you might think they are and when they are used they only get small appearances most of the time. They have mostly become popular through the comics and animation. A lot of Sonic fans I know would love a Team Chaotix spinoff game.

That's disappointing to hear. It would be good if they were to release collections of the Master System, Mega Drive/ Genesis, Saturn and Dreamcast on modern consoles. They have released quite a few collections of the Mega Drive/ Genesis but the same can't be said about the Master System, Saturn and Dreamcast.

What a lot of non Sonic fans don't realise is the Sonic Universe is like the DC and Marvel Universes and there are a huge amount of heroes that have yet to be in the movies that deserve their turn on screen. Jeff Fowler said before there were a lot of characters he wants to use and he has plans for more spinoff shows too.
There are a ton of video games, animated shows and comic books to draw inspiration from and it is time for the female characters in the Sonic Universe to get their turn to shine too like Amy, Cream, Rogue, Blaze and Wave. 😀

As I said on Instagram there is enough Sonic characters to go up to at least 10 movies. We still haven't got Amy, Rogue, Blaze, Vector, Cream, Charmy Bee, Espio, Big, Silver, Metal Sonic, Wave, Tikal, Jet or Bean the Dynamite to name a few and Jeff Fowler has said there are a lot of characters he wants to use and he has plans for more spinoffs.

@Slobbert Hopefully so. Amy is my youngest Niece's favourite character and should be in the movies too since she is one of the main four characters in Team Sonic. Jeff Fowler done an interview about 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3' recently and at the end a lot of people in the audience started chanting "We want Amy." Jeff has said before they plan on making up to 6 movies and more spinoffs and both Amy and Rouge should be in 4.

@Jamie64326 There has been talk about 'Sonic Heroes' getting remastered next year. As somebody who loved the original game I have always been disappointed it has never been released on other newer consoles like Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colours and Sonic Generations have been. It was one of the most fun Sonic 3D games imo.

They should have purchased Rare. We would still be getting Banjo Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day and Donkey Kong 3D games if they did but instead Banjo Kazooie has been wasted under Microsoft when it could have been one of Nintendo's ongoing franchises like Kirby.

I wish they would do remasters for 'The Simpsons' games now Disney owns 'The Simpsons' like they own 'Star Wars.' I would love to have 'The Simpsons: Hit & Run', 'The Simpsons: Road Rage' and 'The Simpsons (2007)' on modern consoles and Matt Groening and Al Jean have said they get asked about 'The Simpsons: Hit & Run' all the time by fans and want it to get re-released too but they don't have the power to get the game re-released or make a sequel.
As for Star Wars I am not really interested in remastered games but I can't wait for 'Star Wars Jedi 3' and the first two games are probably my favourite Star Wars adaptations ever and I like Cal Kestis, Merrin, BD-1, Greez and Cere more than the movie characters and would love to see them made into movies or a show with Cameron Monaghan and Tina Ivlev playing Cal and Merrin in live action.

I wouldn't mind having it on Switch but there have been rumours about 'Kirby's Epic Yarn' coming to Switch for some time now and we are still yet to see that happen so I am not sure what to believe at the moment. I am personally hoping we get 'Kirby and the Forgotten Land 2' or a new 3D 'Kirby' game as one of the first titles on Nintendo Switch 'cause I loved 'Kirby and the Forgotten Land' and playing as Kirby in 3D was fun and worth the wait. 😀
