I've played one or two of the older games in the series years ago, but this one looks excellent. I think I'll have to give it a go. Its not critical to the story to have kept up with series is it? Really love level 5 rpgs (miss ya yokai watch) so I really want to get this one.
Im shocked they're actually releasing it. Felt a bit miffed when the ranked update came to other consoles and nothing for switch. I always prefer to play on switch, but with as big a deal as the update was it put me off the switch version. Which stinks, because, while the switch version's player base is small, the regulars are a really great group of people.
Definitely going to keep an eye on this one as it seems really cool. Nearly $100 seems to be a little on the high side, but would certainly pick one up if it goes on sale or drops to a more reasonable price point.
Happily going to double dip on this one. Such a blast of a game. Demons tilt is crazy good too, but they really knocked it out of the park with xenotilt! Really amped to have this on my switch 2! Interesting to see the number of people saying they're double dipping on this one... definitely speaks to the quality of the game!
Would love to see strives switch edition be brought up to date with its PC/ps counter parts. Plus there was supposed to be an update to the ranked system, fingers crossed it includes the switch version, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
It's wild hearing all these horror stories. This morning I just went to the Walmart website clicked preorder and that was it, one and done. Then texted a friend that preorders were live and he did the same thing. I wasn't aware there were even preorder issues until reading about it here. Here's hoping it can go as smoothly for you all who want one.
@RupeeClock came here looking for the same thing! The d-pad was practically unplayable on the pro controller, and if the pro 2 is the same then I'll just stick to using my 8bitdo controllers.
I got this one on Wii u and never really put the time into it, considering getting the switch version since it seems to be very well done. Anyway I'll hold off on voting until then.
Been an 8bitdo supporter since sometime in the wii u generation. My famicom and snes style controllers still work without issue, my switch "pro" controller is my daily driver. Hands down, the best dpad you'll find these days.
Just like in real bowling, in wii bowling, I'd go in knowing I stink, but pretend I'm the best via showboating etc and have a good time. I could definitely take that robot...
@LXP8 yeah, I always felt like the GCN controller was good for some games and brutal for others. Mixed feelings for me on it. Now the wii u pro controller...hands down, my favorite!
Still thoroughly enjoying Guilty Gear Strive. I'll stick with that mostly. While finding matches on steam deck is significantly easier, the group of switch edition "regulars" have made it a joy with having lots of long sets. It's about as close to playing locally as online can get!
Still playing just guilty Gear, bouncing back and forth between switch and steam deck if the switch player pools dry up, although I tend to always lean towards my switch. May load up Bakeru now that my English version arrived, but it may have to wait.
I gave MK1 the ol' college try around release. I'm not really one to be terribly picky about a port running perfect on switch, but I found it nearly unplayable and haven't revisited it since. Did they ever clean up the switch port?
Oh dang, I didn't know ultros was getting a switch release. I have it on steam deck and it's awesome. I may have to double dip on this one, as I play my switch significantly more than my deck.
Great to have a reason to play through super nina boy again! It's really fun and definitely worth playing if you haven't. It's not terribly difficult or grindy, and will benefit from having save states. Hopefully we get the gameboy version as well. The fighting game spin offs are amongst some of my favorites, but I don't expect to see those on NSO.
Although it may have come off as a bit harsh, I can see where he's coming from. Expectations would be extremely high for a new banjo. Especially against two classic games, coupled with the nostalgia for the classic games. That being said, I would love a new banjo game!!!
I think that's a pretty good assessment. May be a bit more hesitant if I'd just bought switch 1, but it's been a while...still I'd feel better about it if it were under $400.
I'm really looking forward to this hitting switch. If match making is slow I'll jump on pc online. I still think it's nuts Strive is coming to switch and Xrd never managed to pop up.
Dang, I've been watching Alex videos for ten years now!?! Thank you for that. Truthfully, I don't think there is any content creator I've watched consecutively for as long, and I know I can't be the only one. The bloopers had me in stitches...made my morning.
When I got my copy of Metroid on 3ds it was shrink wrapped but the game cartridge was missing. No googly eyes involved, but I assume they used the same method in my case. It was an Amazon order and they quickly replaced it, but still an obnoxious thing to do for a "free" game.

Re: PSA: You Can Play One Of The Greatest Platformers Of All Time In Street Fighter 6
@Nintendo4Sonic @Anti-Matter
SF4 maybe the SF formula perfected. Id argue the most purely SF game all together.

Re: Guilty Gear Strive Adds Another DLC Character To Its Season Pass 4 Roster
Yeah, at this point I figured they'd just drop the rest of the season 4 dlc at once.

Planning on, mostly, Guilty Gear Strive. I may jump back into the English version of Bakeru if I need to switch things up, but we'll see.

This game looks pretty fun to me, but I can hold out for the inevitable sale. The review scored right about where I figured it would.

Think it'll still be mostly Guilty Gear Strive for me this weekend.
