Man I loved subspace emissary. I couldn’t finish world of light it just wasn’t that good to me. I did get almost to the end but I just dropped off idk. Something about subspace emissary was just really charming with its plot and stuff.

Or triforce heroes. That one can get even better because of the temptation to get a stack of people and then walk of the edge for the fun of it.

AKA the list of things you should do with CFW. Definitely checking some of these out.

Lego lord of the rings is one of my favorite games so that fact was really interesting even though I don’t play the ps3 version.

Having tried them both the eshop version is much better. Something feels off about the new game it’s just easier somehow.

Im not sure what’s next for them. I want them to reinvent the wheel and keep it backwards compatible at the same time. I never play my switch handheld I always take the chance to use my ds when I’m on the go. I’d be happy splitting the console and handheld again. Remember the last time they went with a direct successor we got the Wii U which was a commercial flop which might drive Nintendo away from doing the same thing twice. I’ve always went to Nintendo for innovation the other two wouldn’t give me so I don’t want Nintendo to become a PlayStation and Xbox copycat.

Heck yeah. Seems like a true return to form for the series. More like this and echoes would be great. All the extra characters you can find makes this feel like a game that deserves to be iron manned al la the original.

Spending that much time on one route isn’t necessary. I managed to beat each in around 20 hrs and while maybe I didn’t grind every single support I feel like I got a full experience.

I personally didn’t focus on that stuff at all and had a blast calling it one of my favorite games ever. I did some support stuff but mostly skipped it. A play through took me around 20 hrs each and I’ve done all but 1. Granted I played on easy but with classic mode on and the final maps still made me think.

This game looks great but that cast list looks like pure fanservice putting popular characters and ancestors of popular characters in.

Legitimately hyped for this. Three houses was one of my favorite games and this looks to be better gameplay wise although maybe weaker with plot and characters.

How did a quarter of the comments miss the fact that this is a joke. Really guys.

Yeah those were what I used my Xbox for last year. I just meant going purely off of first party output.

If this is a sad year for Nintendo then what are we calling Xbox’s year.

I adore Deemo (rather obvious I think) and that definitely gets played every year. Undertale definitely always somehow ends up played too.

I’d never heard of this but I’ll give it a shot. Honestly your taste in games is usually really good and lines up with stuff I like.

Might give this a go just for fun. I’m not a competitive player but I do host tournaments so maybe it’ll give me some ideas on how to run it.

I think it’s time for me to watch the anime again. I stopped after x and y but with Ash leaving maybe I should watch it all as one final farewell to Ash and pikachu. Goodbye childhood 😢

It is they removed the right flank option that was in Splatoon 1. Nintendos taking old stages and removing a lot of what made strategy interesting.

Been playing almost nothing but Splatoon for the past while. Plan to continue this. I really should play some other games though.

Not to mention the over 400 songs you get with the 30 dollar switch version. Plus that game has better gameplay and an amazing story. Maybe I’m just a bit of a fan idk.

This is the trailer that sold me on the game. The plot looks like it could be good or bad but the gameplay here looks fantastic. I just hope the map design is good and designed around the emblem skills so it’s a challenge.

Splatoon 3 all weekend. Today I’m hosting my first tournament so lots to do with that.

Nintendo land 100%. Best launch game and second best game on the console. Still boot that one up sometimes for both single player and multiplayer.

This score doesn’t feel right somehow. BD SP got a 9. Sw Sh got an 8 and legends Arceus got a 9. The review reads like a 9 that’s held back by frame rate issues.

Yeah out of all the Splatoon 1 maps they picked to return they picked Flounder Heights which was one of my least favorite stages. They even managed to ruin some of the Splatoon 1 stages like Mahi Mahi resort. I want them to add unique maps like Moray towers and kelp dome but I’m worried they’d just make them boring.

Tales of arise is the most recent but isn’t on switch. It’s also the only one to use a 3D battlefield for combat. Apart from that I don’t think you can go wrong. All the others have 2d combat and should all be good starting points.

Shoulda put /s there I think it’s dumb too. We own all 3. First one was playable. Second one wasn’t really and he bought the third with money he had saved up so there was no control there. I think he played that last one once because it was literally impossible to play. It crashed had 5 minute loading screens plus tons of lag. Even worse it landed on gamepass a month later. Those games we’re a huge mistake.

Agreed. I thought it might be cool to have a page that had all the schedules. Nope because for some reason it’s only turf war. Hopefully they add those in a future update.

I am ashamed to own 3 separate paw patrol games. All 3 aren’t close to playable, one has a typo on the Home Screen, and far too much money was spent but as long as the kid is momentarily happy I guess it’s fine.

Don’t give them any ideas.

Splatoon 3 all day for sure. Picked it up just in time for the splat fest and it’s a ton of fun. I put tons of hours into 1 and 2 and am ready to repeat this with 3.

I might try this. I’m a huge JRPG fan but the only farming game I can play is Stardew. I played some other ones and then Stardew and I cant go back. If I have time then I’ll give the demo a spin.

Sounds interesting but a couple things have me worried. Only four classes feels like not enough for a game like this. I mean compare it to how many Fire Emblem had and 4 seems like nothing. Also having to grind parts isn’t something I like in a strategy game. Usually if you play smart you shouldn’t have to grind but wiping your party like described in the review seems like a big mistake. Maybe I’ll try on sale or if it comes to gamepass.

I believe what it meant was the system was in place to use free currency but they didn’t have any way to pay for the currency since it was in beta. I could be wrong though.
