20% of Third parties understand that having a base of over 100 million gamers to sell a game to, means that it's that much easier to sell 1 million copies of a game. Depending on the price of a game, 1 million copies sold can easily net a company $20-$50 million dollars. So it's a no brainer for those willing to create a topnotch gaming experience. I would also imagine the "Switch 2" or whatever it ends up being called will be backwards compatible with the Switch so that definitely prolongs the sales life of top tier games made now.
Wow. This seriously just looks like Link to the Past 2. The sword and bow animations are spot on and the block pushing is uncanny. I will definitely keep an eye on this one.
Meh. The only series I remotely care about in this merger is Diablo. The rest are shovelware or just not my cup of tea. The Bethesda acquisition was a much bigger deal than this, in my opinion. Just more games I won't play on a console I won't buy.
@arekdougy There was a remake of the OG Tomb Raider released on the Wii and Xbox 360. It might be available for download on a newer Xbox system, I'm not sure. The Wii version was ok. If you get a chance to, I recommend checking it out.
@T-Rexy I'm in the same boat with Kirby and Rune Factory. Triangle Strategy looks great but it's not really my type of game. I think I will start with Kirby and move on to Rune Factory later.
I totally understand that politics get in the way of a lot of things. That being said, I can't get behind people that exploit others for their own gain. Go humanity!
Lifelong Nintendo fan obvi but, for some reason I am so much more interested in this set than any of the Mario ones I've seen. The clear plastic rods holding the rings up is next level. This thing's freaking beautiful.
It's clearly gonna be an asymmetrical combat game like Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th. Four players are Ghostbusters and another player is a ghost. Slimer, Staypuft and the like.
@faint Yes. My buddy got the expansion pass. Ocarina of Time is abysmal on input lag. Mario 64 is pretty bad too. It's really noticeable to me. There are plenty of people documenting this on Youtube as well. Doug Bowser apologized and said that Nintendo needs to improve the Expansion Pass offerings.
Obviously ZombiU not being the WiiU pick is the controversy here. It's the definitive version of the game and was a WiiU exclusive up until the subpar port the graced the One and PS4.
$50 for the addition of N64 and Genny games? That's ridiculous. Keep your Animal Crossing DLC garbage and gimme the games for $30 a year. This is beyond stupid.
I bought this game at launch and got about 15 hours in before Skyward Sword HD came out. Then, I started playing other games and haven't went back yet. So unfortunately I think I will have to restart the game to fully enjoy it but all of these updates have fleshed the game out so that makes it worth it.
I'm still on my ver. 1 Switch from February 2018 and it is going strong. I haven't noticed a reduction in battery life and I'm mostly a docked player anyways. As much as I like shiny new tech, the OLED will probably be a pass. Waiting for better docked performance.
@westman98 I'm literally one of the Switch's biggest champions when it comes to touting it's capabilities. I'm constantly correcting people that think it is as powerful or weaker than a PS360. The increased RAM alone is enough to make a game 6 times bigger than on those consoles. However, I don't trust Remedy to do something awesome like make an optimized AW remaster port for Switch. My presumption is they will do a half-arsed shoddy Cloud version and be like, "See we support the Switch."👏😀
@OorWullie And you know it's funny. I still always want to be excited about what they're doing. I hold out hopes that maybe there will be a breakthrough title or something. After a decade though, I think it's a moot point. Hey they have the Timesplitters IP rights so maybe, just maybe something positive will happen there.
10 years huh. THQ Nordic has really changed the game...NOT! What? 2 new shoddy Darksiders games and Bio-Mutant?? Which still has performance issues. Then about 20 ports. It's time to step it up guys.
Aria of Sorrow is the most slept on Castlevania game of all time. Everyone knows how good Dawn of Sorrow is on the DS so, now play the predecessor on the GBA and get your mind right.
I'd like to checkout the cell shaded stuff myself. I think those are the games that will really pop on the OLED. Astral Chain, Daemon X Machina, Breath of the Wild and Monster Hunter Stories. Another that comes to mind is Aragami.
Hopefully the other rumors are true and the Switch OLED is going to retail for $299 instead of $349. Some customers that have preordered their OLED models, here in the states, have been given $50 refunds from Walmart for no apparent reason. They were never even notified just credited the refund. Curious to say the least.
I would love to have Dodgeball from the NES remastered in HD with no sprite flicker. Also, more teams and characters. Cutscenes, remade music and online play, if that's not asking too much.
@OorWullie You totally should. The games story is great and after the updates Panic Button released, the game looks good and plays really well. I just wish the first Wolfenstein was on the Switch.
I just wish The Outer Worlds would have received this same amount of love on the Switch. If Panic Button would've done the port, that would have happened. Either way, kudos to PB for the stellar DOOM:Eternal conversion. Always love to see the tricks they have up their sleeves.
@wsli True you can't decide what triggers other people but they need to stop acting like they have the right to not be offended. Sure, they have the right to not subject themselves to things they find offensive but to try and censor other people because you don't like something is nonsense. Just...don't watch the movie.
I've been loving Mario Kart Live. My family and I have made so many different courses together and had a blast with every one. I recommend it to anyone with kids 3 to 18 and beyond. Totally worth the asking price in my opinion and I would buy a standalone kart or 2 in the future when Nintendo inevitably releases more racers.

Re: Grand Theft Auto Trilogy's Physical Edition On Switch Launches Next Month
